DogDoctorOfficial ⭐ Catching the Ghost Train Haze @ zamnesia station — A Journey Into the 12/12 Frontier Welcome to the beginning of our Ghost Train Haze story — a Zamnesia genetic boarding the 12/12 seed run with mystery, momentum, and a touch of spectral charm. ⸻ 🌼 Germination Summary Seed Source — Zamnesia Seeds Seed Count for This Report 3 seedlings selected for documentation (More were germinated; only the standout ones were chosen for this diary.) ⸻ Starting Method (Observational Log) All seeds began in the CannaKan germination system for visual tracking and documentation. Around the 36-hour mark, early root activity became visible — consistent with the rest of the feminized seeds in the project. Seedlings were then placed into: • Mixed soils depending on availability (Pro-Mix and/or Plagron Bio Mix across the tent) • Some under small humidity domes • All inside the shared environment of the 8×8 setup ⸻ Emergence Approximately 2–3 days after entering their starting medium, the Ghost Train Haze seedlings rose above the soil surface with strong posture and clean, energetic emergence. Their timing was in line with the other feminized genetics, joining the rhythm of the project with confidence. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Context (Shared Tent Conditions) These conditions are consistent observational notes across the entire project: • Relative Humidity: approx. 60–65% • Day Temperature: ~26–28°C • Night Temperature: ~20–21°C • Humidifier: running continuously • Occasional misting: helping stabilize ambient moisture • Heater: supporting nighttime warmth • Lighting: • Future of Grow — Air Grow Pro III HyperRED • Lumiflora UE150 under-canopy LEDs (for later phases) • Controllers: TrollMaster (previous collaboration) • Medium: varied across plants (for Ghost Train Haze, noted accordingly) • Tent Prep: fully sanitized and cleaned prior to the start All Ghost Train Haze seedlings share identical environmental conditions within this educational observational experiment. ⸻ 🌈 Educational Notes for This Genetic Ghost Train Haze is known for its bold structure, energetic presence, and dramatic expression — a perfect candidate for a cinematic diary line. In this documentation, we’ll be observing: • The individual differences among the three selected seedlings • How Ghost Train Haze expresses itself under a unified 12/12 seed experiment • Any notable traits in visual structure, posture, color, or “ghostly personality” No predictions — only curiosity and observation, as always. ⸻ 🙏 Acknowledgments A heartfelt thank-you to: • Future of Grow — cutting-edge lighting powering this journey • Plagron — supportive substrates, mixes, and soil products • Zamnesia Seeds — genetics behind the entire run • Lumiflora — under-canopy LED innovation • TrollMaster — environmental gear from prior collaboration • GrowDiaries — home of the full documented series And also: • OG supporters • Quiet watchers • New followers • Curious wanderers • Friendly critics • Everyone who shows up with kindness, interest, or curiosity This community is the railway that keeps the Ghost Train moving. ⸻ 🧡 Closing Note for the Report This entry marks the first chapter of Catching the Ghost Train Haze — a journey through the 12/12 Frontier with three seedlings now officially on board. More updates will follow with photos, logs, and educational notes as this spectral traveler reveals its personality inside the shared environment. The train has left the station — and this is just the beginning. DogDoctorOfficial Ghost Train Haze — Week 1 Report Folder #7 | “Catching the Ghost Train” Station One: Emergence The Ghost Train has arrived at its first station, and all passengers are present. For this run, we are currently keeping three seeds, all showing very similar early expressions. Uniformity is strong at this stage, with no clear standout yet — a promising sign of genetic consistency. ⸻ Medium & Container Setup Unlike the rest of the room, or half of it, Ghost Train Haze is running a slightly different container strategy: • Inner pots: Plastic pots • Outer pots (optional / future): • 15-liter outer pots • Filled with Plagron soil At this moment, the plants are not yet connected to the outer pots. The system is ready, but the decision is still open. There are more outer pots available than reservoir connections, which opens up a few possible paths forward: • Permanent selection of which plants get connected • Rotational system (one week one plant, next week another) • Or keeping them independent for now and deciding later This flexibility is intentional — no rush, no forced decisions at Station One. ⸻ Growth & Early Behavior All three seedlings are: • Very similar in structure • Slightly stretchy, but still healthy and elegant • Upright, responsive, and visually balanced The stretch is within reason and fits the Ghost Train character — reaching forward, eager to move. No weakness, no instability, just early momentum. Leaf color is clean, stems are holding well, and overall posture shows good adaptation to the environment. ⸻ Environmental Conditions Conditions remain identical to the rest of the room: • Same light cycle • Same environment • Same airflow • Same feeding philosophy No exceptions, no special treatment — the only variable here is container strategy, by design. ⸻ What to Expect Next (Next Stations) • Slight reduction in stretch as root mass increases • Clearer individual expression between the three plants • Decision window opening regarding outer pot connections • Increased leaf development and node definition What Not to Expect (Yet) • No heavy feeding • No aggressive training • No final container decisions just yet ⸻ Final Notes — Station One This first station is all about arrival, assessment, and options. The Ghost Train Haze seedlings are healthy, aligned, and ready for the journey ahead. The track is laid, the switches are visible, and the destination will reveal itself in time. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Ghost Train Haze — Week 2 (12/12 from Seed) Folder #7 | Plastic Pots | Hand-Watered Week two is now complete, and these girls are clearly picking up speed. After a very slow and controlled first week, and a still-measured but improving second week, we can now see momentum building. By the end of this week, plants are pushing into their second to third nodes, with larger leaves, strong symmetry, and a beautiful lush green color. Growth is very uniform across all plants, which is always reassuring at this stage. ⸻ 🌿 Containers & Medium — Plastic Pots vs Grow Bags Unlike some of the other folders in this room, these Ghost Train Haze plants are growing in 15L plastic pots from AutoPot, not grow bags. Important notes: • Pots are not connected to the AutoPot system yet • Plants are currently hand-fed, same as the rest of the room • Medium is soil, allowing roots to establish naturally first This slower start is expected and welcomed. When plants take their time above ground, it usually means roots are working hard below the surface, building a strong base before top growth accelerates. ⸻ 🌍 Sustainability Note (Important) This run also brings up an important long-term consideration. • Plastic pots can be reused many times • Grow bags, once finished, often end up as waste • Soil from pots can be reused or composted more easily For future runs, this is something I’m actively evaluating — moving away from disposable materials where possible, reducing plastic waste, and improving sustainability without compromising plant health. This grow is part of that learning process. ⸻ 💡 Environment & Conditions Conditions are stable and intentional. • Temperature: kept warm and consistent to support root activity • Humidity: slightly elevated to help early-stage development • Light intensity (PPFD): appropriate for this stage, encouraging steady growth without stress No signs of stress, no leaf deformation, and no nutrient-related issues so far. ⸻ Genetics — Ghost Train Haze Ghost Train Haze is known for: • Strong Haze influence • Fast growth once established • High vigor later in the cycle • Energetic, expressive structure This cultivar typically starts slow, then ramps up quickly once roots are established — exactly what we are beginning to see now. This is a strain that rewards patience early on. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Expect: • Faster vertical growth • Larger fan leaves • Stronger stems • More pronounced node spacing typical of Haze genetics Do NOT expect yet: • Heavy stretch • Strong aromas • Flower expression That comes later. ⸻ 🌱 Final Thoughts This Ghost Train Haze run is doing exactly what it should be doing. Slow start, clean structure, healthy color, and now — acceleration. Very excited to see how these plants express themselves once they fully hit their stride. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Ghost Train Haze — Week 3 VEG Report 12/12 from seed | Vegetative phase ongoing General Overview Week 3 of vegetative growth closes with Ghost Train Haze showing outstanding vigor and expression. From early in the light cycle, both plants consistently display strong “praying” behavior — leaves lifted upward, posture alert and confident. This is not occasional; it is constant, indicating a very good balance between light intensity, nutrition, and environment. Running as a pair, they behave almost like twins. Structure, rhythm, and overall pace are remarkably similar. As expected in nature, one plant is slightly larger than the other — a reminder that nothing in the universe is ever truly identical. Still, the similarity between them is striking and reassuring. Growth & Structure • Stage: Vegetative • Flowering signs: None observed • Node count: ~5 to 6 nodes • Growth habit: Upright, balanced, well-structured • Leaf posture: Strong and consistent praying • Color: Deep, lush green with excellent vitality Internodal spacing remains tight, structure is clean, and development is even. There are no signs of stress, clawing, deficiencies, or imbalance. ⸻ Genetics Notes — Ghost Train Haze Ghost Train Haze carries strong Haze-forward genetics, and early signs are already visible in her behavior: • High responsiveness to light • Expressive leaf posture • Vertical intention without excessive stretch • Clear metabolic efficiency Haze genetics often prefer to build structure first, establishing roots and vegetative mass before revealing their full personality. At this stage, Ghost Train Haze is doing exactly that — laying rails before speed. ⸻ Photo Documentation This week, both plants were briefly taken out of the tent for detailed photo documentation using a controlled studio-style setup. The photos focus on: • Leaf posture and symmetry • Natural water droplets resting on the leaves • Rich green coloration under controlled lighting These images are meant to document subtle signals, not to dramatize the plant. ⸻ Environment — Room Conditions (Week 3) • Photoperiod: 12/12 from seed • Day temperature: ~26 °C • Night temperature: ~18 °C • Relative Humidity: 60–65% • Airflow: Gentle, constant, non-stressful • Solution temperature: ~21 °C • Substrate temperature: ~21 °C Environmental stability remains consistent across the room, allowing the plants to focus entirely on vegetative development. ⸻ 💡 Lighting • PPFD: ~600–700 (adjusted to plant size) • Plants are growing naturally into the light • No stretch, no light stress The constant praying posture confirms that light levels are well matched to plant demand. ⸻ 💧 Watering & Nutrition • pH: 6.0 • EC: 1.0 Nutrient program: • Plagron Terra Grow • Power Roots • Pure Zym • Sugar Royal Foliar: • Vita Race • Applied selectively and intentionally, not on a fixed schedule This program continues to support strong root activity, clean metabolism, and vibrant vegetative growth. ⸻ 🔍 What to Expect / What Not to Expect (Next Week) What to expect: • Continued vegetative expansion • Additional node stacking • Increasing leaf mass and canopy presence • Gradual emergence of Haze characteristics What not to expect (yet): • No flowering initiation • No explosive stretch • No need to push inputs Patience remains key — the foundation is still being built. ⸻ Final Thoughts Week 3 confirms that Ghost Train Haze is thriving. Constant praying, twin-like development, and calm confidence define this stage. No rush, no force — just steady momentum. Thank you to everyone following along, observing, learning, and sharing this journey with us. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Ghost Train Haze — Week 4 Diary Photoperiod: 12/12 from seed Quick Recap (For New Joiners) This run follows a 12/12 from seed protocol, meaning plants are exposed to flowering photoperiod from day one. This approach typically results in: • Slower visible growth compared to veg-then-flower cycles • Earlier structural maturity • Compact, symmetrical architecture • A very honest expression of genetics Environmental conditions (temperature, relative humidity, airflow, and lighting intensity) remain identical to all other diaries in this project to allow clean comparisons across cultivars. ⸻ Week 4 Overview Both Ghost Train Haze plants are performing phenomenally. They are progressing steadily toward their 7th node, showing: • Excellent symmetry • Balanced internodal spacing • Strong apical direction • Calm, unstressed posture While growth under 12/12 is notoriously slower, this week reinforces an important lesson: slow does not mean stagnant. These plants are developing with intention and precision. ⸻ Leaf Morphology & Color One of the most striking features this week is the leaf quality: • Large, round, well-formed leaves • High surface detail and venation clarity • A lush, healthy green tone without excess darkness • No signs of deficiency, toxicity, or stress This visual expression reflects proper nutrient availability, stable root-zone conditions, and strong genetics working in harmony. ⸻ Structure & Symmetry Both plants are: • Highly symmetrical • Evenly stacked • Structurally clean and predictable This level of symmetry at Week 4 is a strong indicator of: • Stable hormonal balance • Correct light intensity for plant size • No need for corrective training at this stage ⸻ Containers & Growth Rate Observation These Ghost Train Haze plants are currently growing in plastic pots. A preliminary observation: • Growth appears slightly slower compared to plants in plastic grow bags used elsewhere in the run ⚠️ Important note: This is too early to draw conclusions. Container material, gas exchange, moisture dynamics, and root behavior need more time to show meaningful differences. This observation is logged for long-term comparison, not judgment. ⸻ Nutrition Strategy (Why They Look Like This) The plants are receiving the same locked nutritional protocol used across the project: • Balanced mineral nutrition • Root support additives • Enzymatic activity support • Controlled EC and pH Why this matters: This nutrition strategy prioritizes: • Root efficiency over forced top growth • Enzyme-driven nutrient availability • Stable uptake under 12/12 conditions The result is exactly what we see: Healthy leaves, calm growth, detailed structure, and no visual imbalance. ⸻ Studio Session Both plants were taken to the studio for a dedicated photo shoot, allowing: • Accurate visual documentation • Clear comparison week-to-week • Educational transparency for the community These visuals are part of the long-term archival value of the project. ⸻ What to Expect (and Not Expect) What to expect next: • Continued slow but consistent node development • Gradual increase in structural density • Early signs of transition in coming weeks What not to expect: • Explosive vertical growth • Stretch comparable to veg-trained plants • Immediate flower formation This is normal and correct for 12/12 from seed. ⸻ Community Note Due to YouTube community guidelines, our educational channel was taken down. While we firmly believe the content was purely educational, we respect YouTube’s decision and are actively exploring alternative platforms to continue sharing this work. 📡 Please stay tuned. 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Ghost Train Haze — Week 5 From Seed (Late Veg / Pre-Transition) This week nature reminded us who’s in charge. Outside temps dropped to 4–5°C with 90–95% humidity, and instead of fighting it, we adapted — and so did the girls. 🌡️ Environment • Tent temperature: ~21.8°C • RH: ~58% Considering the outside conditions, this is a very comfortable and stable environment, and the plants are showing zero stress signs. Leaf posture is relaxed, growth is steady, and overall vitality is excellent. We’re embracing seasonal changes rather than forcing extremes — and the plants are responding beautifully. ⸻ Nutrition & Watering Strategy Hand-Watered Plants • pH: 5.9 • EC: 1.43 • New addition this week: CalMag Pro — 1 ml/L This is not a reaction to deficiencies. Calcium and magnesium become increasingly important during this phase due to: • accelerating cell division • structural development • increasing transpiration as light intensity rises Introducing CalMag before problems appear helps maintain: • stronger cell walls • stable nutrient uptake • smoother transition toward flowering This is prevention, not correction. ⸻ Autopot Zone • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.0 • Solution temperature: ~22.8°C In the Autopots we’re running minerals only. Organic inputs don’t behave consistently in passive systems and can lead to: • biofilm buildup • line blockages • unstable nutrient availability Keeping this zone clean, mineral-based, and predictable ensures long-term stability. ⸻ 💡 Light & PPFD • PPFD range: ~700–850 (depending on plant size) • Top light: 100%, unchanged • Plants are praying constantly and clearly growing toward the light — no pushing, no forcing. Under-Canopy & Inner-Canopy Lighting • Beginning of week: OFF • End of week: ON (very gently) This is not to increase total PPFD yet. The goal right now is education, not intensity. By introducing photons: • from below • from inside the canopy • from multiple angles …we’re teaching the plant early that light is everywhere, preparing structure and bud sites for later stages. Intensity will increase only as the plants evolve. ⸻ 🌿 Training & Structure • No heavy training • No aggressive defoliation • Only: • leaf tucking • gentle branch bending • very light LST These plants are naturally compact, with: • beautiful branching • large, healthy leaves • lush green color • excellent vigor in the Autopots Growth is slower compared to other plants in the room, which may be linked to the sativa-leaning genetics. In my experience, sativas often: • develop more slowly early • take longer to finish • but reward patience later We’ll let the plant tell the story. ⸻ 🌸 Veg or Flower? This is a 12/12 from seed run. Some plants in the room are already showing pre-flower. Ghost Train Haze is not — and that’s completely fine. She is still in vegetative growth, building structure. Delayed transition can often mean: • more stretch later • potentially larger final size But we don’t guess — we observe. The plant flips when she’s ready, not when the calendar says so. ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap for Newcomers • Week 5 from seed • Still vegetative • 12/12 light cycle • Stable environment despite harsh weather outside • Preventive CalMag introduced • Clean mineral strategy in Autopots • Multi-angle lighting slowly being introduced • Minimal intervention, maximum observation ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and What Not To) Expect: • continued structural development • slow, steady growth • eventual self-triggered transition Do NOT expect: • forced flowering • rushed development • aggressive training This run is about letting the plant express herself naturally. ⸻ 🙏 Thanks Big thank you to everyone following along, supporting, and sharing knowledge. Appreciation as always to the sponsors — including Lumiflora for the under-canopy lighting — and to the community that makes these shared journals meaningful. Growers love Onward, calmly and patiently. 👽 New team member Meet Mr. Baggy Our new fluffy alien/beaver/whatever-he-is friend, won through a Grow Diaries contest. Expect to see him around — he’s officially part of the grow now. Week 5 Veg/pre-flower | 8×8 Tent | Master Conditions 🌍 External Environment (Context) • Outside temperature: ~5 °C • Outside RH: 92–96% (very high humidity) • Strong seasonal pressure influencing internal stability ⸻ 🌡️ Internal Tent Conditions • Tent temperature: ~21.8 °C (noted drop due to cold external temps) • Tent RH: ~58% → Very good considering outside conditions ⸻ 💨 Airflow & Circulation • Primary airflow: Bottom → top → wall return • Pattern: Full-room vortex circulation • Additional fans: Central airflow to break blind spots and mix layers • Goal: No stagnant pockets, uniform VPD across canopy ⸻ 💧 Water Source & Rationale • Water: Dehumidifier water + rainwater • Base EC: force • Systems designed to support plant intelligence, not override it FOR DISCOUNT CODES AND MORE JUST FOLLOW THE LINK https://website.beacons.ai/dogdoctorofficial 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. DogDoctorOfficial Ghost Train Haze Week 6 from seed | 12/12 from seed Marked as: Week 1 Flower (pre-flower transition) Before jumping into current conditions, a quick recap for anyone new joining the diary. This Ghost Train has been through a bit of a transition phase over the past weeks. Earlier environmental fluctuations, combined with changes in nutrition and irrigation style (Autopots), slowed her down compared to the rest of the room. Nothing dramatic, but enough to leave visible signals on the older leaves. The good news: conditions are now much more stable, and the plant is clearly responding. ⸻ Current Environment (now stabilized) • Temperature: ~27.5 °C • Humidity: ~65% • CO₂: ~900 ppm • PPFD: • Smaller plants: ~600–700 • Taller plants: up to ~800–850 Light intensity is intentionally staggered. Plants are allowed to grow into the photons naturally, rather than being forced under a flat PPFD across the canopy. This helps accommodate different genetics and growth speeds in the same room. Despite cold weather outside, internal temperatures are now stable, which was one of the main goals this week. ⸻ Root Zone & Irrigation • Root / reservoir temperature: ~17 °C Slightly cold, acknowledged. This contributed to slower uptake earlier, especially in Autopots. Not ideal, but manageable, and already improving. • Watering parameters: • pH: 6.5 • EC: 2.4 ⸻ Nutrition — what changed and why This week marks a clear nutritional transition: • Switched from Plagron Terra Grow → Terra Bloom • Following the Plagron feeding schedule • This was the only intentional change Additionally: • CalMag Pro has now been added (started last week) About the leaf symptoms The older leaves show signs of undernutrition and stress. This is not a single-cause issue, but a combination of factors: • Cold root zone limiting uptake • Autopot system still running a lighter recipe • A sudden stop of organic inputs • A rapid switch to a fully mineral approach In short: the plant was used to one rhythm, and that rhythm changed fast. She didn’t like it — and she showed it. Important note for newer growers: 👉 These symptoms are on older leaves. They will not “repair,” but new growth is the real indicator, and that’s already improving. By increasing Terra Bloom, adding CalMag, and stabilizing the environment, the plant now has what she needs to push into flowering properly. ⸻ Flowering expectations This Ghost Train Haze is currently the most delayed plant in the room, and that’s okay. • Haze-dominant genetics often: • Take longer to transition • Stretch later • Flower later than hybrids She will likely be: • The last to fully enter flower • The last to finish That’s normal — and usually rewarded with excellent medicine in the end. What to expect next: • Gradual improvement in new growth color • Clear pre-flower expression • Stretch beginning once roots and uptake fully sync What not to expect: • Instant cosmetic recovery on old leaves • Overnight flowering just because the schedule says so ⸻ Final thoughts Conditions are now stable, inputs are clear, and the plant is responding. From here, it’s about consistency, not correction. Thank you to: • The newcomers • The OGs • The supporters and the critics • The sponsors • The community • The platform itself It’s truly an honor and a privilege to share these humble diaries with everyone who chooses to follow along. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Ghost Train Haze — Week 7 From Seed 🔁 Quick Recap — How We Got Here • 12/12 from seed • Mineral base in AutoPots (steady availability, no dry-back stress) • Occasional top-feed with organic inputs • Selective defoliation in the room — but these girls were left untouched • Multi-layer LED canopy + under-canopy lighting • Week 7 from seed → stretch phase still active And now? She’s around 70 cm, some phenos pushing 80 cm, praying nonstop, stretching like she has somewhere important to be. That’s Haze. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Snapshot • Day temp: ~28 °C • RH: ~65% • EC: ~2.9 (higher than the rest — intentionally) • pH: ~6.5 • Height range: 40–80 cm • LED full-spectrum, layered canopy On paper? Some growers panic at 28 °C in flower. In practice? Understanding numbers. ⸻ 🍃 LED Physics — Why 28 °C Is Not 28 °C Under LED: • No infrared dumping • Leaf surface runs 2–4 °C cooler than room • Lower radiant load • Different transpiration dynamics than HPS So if: • Ambient = 28 °C • Leaf temp ≈ 24–26 °C • RH = 65% 👉 Leaf-level VPD lands beautifully in early–mid flower comfort zone. And the plants confirm it: • Deep healthy green • No tacoing • No clawing • No light bleaching • Strong internode spacing • Constant upward praying That praying? Not stress-praying. It’s metabolic confidence. ⸻ ⚡ Why EC Is Higher on These Girls (~2.9) This is important. Ghost Train Haze is: • Vigorous • Long-flowering • High metabolic rate • High transpiration under LED She’s drinking more. She’s moving nutrients faster. She’s building vertical structure aggressively. If we fed her like the others? She’d outpace availability. So EC is slightly higher here to match: • Growth speed • Stretch demand • Structural building phase We’re not pushing blindly. We’re matching consumption. And the uniform leaf color across the canopy confirms uptake is balanced. ⸻ Let’s Talk Genetics — Why She’s “Late” Ghost Train Haze carries heavy Haze lineage. That means: • Longer stretch • Longer flowering time • Slower early flower stacking • Higher final terpene complexity • More cerebral profile Compared to hybrids or more indica-leaning cultivars, Haze types: • Take longer to show flower mass • Spend more time building structure • Finish later But what do they give back? • Airy-but-resinous spears • Intense terpene complexity • Electric, clear-headed medicine • Beautiful, elegant bud architecture They compensate. Always. ⸻ 📏 The Stretch Question — Will She Outgrow the LEDs? At 70 cm in Week 2 flower? Yes. She’s not done stretching. Haze typically stretches: • 2–3 weeks into flower • Sometimes up to Week 4 depending on phenotype Expect: • Another 10–25 cm possible • Internodes to slightly elongate • Apical dominance to stay strong Bringing LEDs up soon? Smart move. Better to anticipate than react. ⸻ 🍃 Defoliation Choice — Why We Didn’t Touch Her We left her natural. Why? Because: • Haze structure is naturally airy • She manages light penetration well • Over-defoliation can slow stretch momentum • She’s showing perfect airflow already Sometimes restraint is the better technique. ⸻ 🔮 What To Expect Next Week You will likely see: • Continued vertical stretch (but slowing by end of week) • First real bud site stacking • Slight shift from lime green to deeper flower tone • Increased thirst What you should NOT expect: • Massive bud density yet • Hard swelling • Early frost explosion It’s too early. Haze builds in stages. ⸻ Stability Over Reaction We are not chasing numbers. We are reading the plant. Temperature? Fine. Humidity? Fine. EC? Matching demand. Structure? Strong. Leaves? Praying but relaxed. This is controlled vigor. ⸻ Final Thoughts Week 7 from seed. Week 2 flower. ~70 cm. Still climbing. And honestly? This is exactly what you want from a Haze. Patience now equals magic later. ⸻ 🙏 Gratitude To the OGs. To the new followers. To the lovers and even the skeptics. To the GrowDiaries platform. To the GD community. To the sponsors. DogDoctorOfficial Ghost Train Haze — Week 8 From Seed (Week 3 Flower) 12/12 From Day One — Zamnesia Room This report focuses on the tallest, most expressive girl in the room — the wild card aiming for the moon. She’s delayed compared to others. She’s the tallest. She’s pushing hard. And she’s completely in flower now. ⸻ 🌱 How We Got Here (For Anyone Just Joining) This run started 12/12 from seed. No long veg. No artificial holding pattern. Straight into reproductive signaling from day one. Room philosophy: • Match light to structure. • Match feed to metabolism. • Match environment to stage. • Read the plants, not the chart. We are not forcing uniformity. We are scaling intensity per plant. This Ghost Train Haze is one of the most delayed in flower transition — genetic expression, not environmental issue. She stretched aggressively. She claimed vertical territory. Thankfully we’re running a 2.45m tent, which allows: • LEDs high enough for safety • 1300 µmol at the top • Still enough power to feed the rest of the canopy No panic bending. No emergency topping. Structure allowed to express. ⸻ Environment Snapshot • Canopy Temp: ~28°C (now tapering toward 26°C) • RH: ~70% (now reducing toward 60%) • CO₂: 1000+ ppm passive enrichment • PPFD: 800 → 1300 µmol On paper: 28°C + 70% RH looks aggressive. In reality: Massive airflow changes everything. We run: • Strong horizontal circulation • Vertical displacement • Active intake + extraction • Under-canopy airflow Moving 70% RH behaves very differently from stagnant 70%. Leaf VPD Room VPD. Under strong LEDs, leaf temp runs slightly above ambient. Add 1000+ ppm CO₂: • Higher photosynthesis rate • Reduced stomatal opening requirement • Higher humidity tolerance • Sustained metabolism She’s not surviving. She’s pushing. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy — Scaled, Not Ego-Driven We are not blasting evenly. • Big tops: up to 1300 µmol • Smaller plants: ~800 µmol Usable photons only. No ego lighting. Under-canopy lighting: • Reduces larf • Activates lower bud sites • Improves uniformity • Supports airflow stability We fill blocked zones. We don’t replace top light. Everything connects. ⸻ 🔴 End-of-Day Red (15 Minutes) We run a 15-minute red pulse after lights off. Phytochrome management: • Influences Pr Pfr balance • Supports flowering signaling • Does NOT extend photoperiod Signal manipulation. Not day length manipulation. We experiment. We observe. We document. No magic claims. ⸻ 🌿 Feeding Strategy — Week 3 Flower Adjustment She’s hungry. Soil EC: ~0.9 Feed EC: ~2.4 As long as runoff EC stays stable: We maintain strength. High metabolic demand → High input. Now let’s talk additions. ⸻ ➕ Why Add Power Buds + Green Sensation (1ml/L each) 🔸 Power Buds Early/mid flower stimulant. Purpose: • Encourages faster flower set • Supports early bud formation • Enhances transition speed • Helps synchronize hormonal shift For a slightly delayed genetic like this one: This supports catching up structurally. ⸻ 🔸 Green Sensation Late flower metabolic support. Functions: • PK boost • Magnesium support • Iron chelate support • Enhances carbohydrate transport • Supports resin & density At Week 3 flower: Bud sites are formed. Stacking begins. Demand increases. We introduce it now to: • Support density • Fuel aggressive metabolism • Maintain color stability ⸻ Current Full Recipe Weekly top feed: • CalMag Pro (always first when mixing) • Terra Bloom (base NPK) • Power Buds • Green Sensation • Pure Zym • Sugar Royal • Vita Race (foliar where applicable) Order matters: CalMag → Base Nutrient → Additives Why? Calcium first stabilizes solution chemistry. Then macro base. Then supplements. Avoids precipitation. Maintains availability. ⸻ Autopots vs Hand-Fed Plants Important distinction. Autopot girls: • Mineral base in system • CalMag + Terra Bloom + Power Buds at higher base strength • Weekly full-spectrum top-feed with full additive recipe Why mineral-heavy in Autopots? Because: • Constant moisture • No traditional dryback cycles • Salt accumulation risk • Organic residues can clog system • Predictability is critical Mineral base ensures: • Stable EC • Predictable uptake • Clean lines • Consistent delivery The weekly additive top-feed: Reintroduces biostimulants and secondary support. Two systems. Two strategies. Same plant biology. ⸻ 🔥 Metabolism Status She is drinking daily. Aggressively. That tells us: • Transpiration is strong • Photosynthesis is high • Root zone oxygenation is sufficient • EC strength is appropriate When they stop heating like crazy: We taper. We don’t force finish. We signal season. Light taper. EC taper. Humidity reduction. Temperature reduction. Autumn simulation. ⸻ About This Girl (The Tall One) She’s aiming for the moon. Wild structure. Long internodes. Strong apical dominance. But: • No bleaching • No tacoing • No stress claw • No stalled metabolism She’s happy. Very happy. Genetics are expressing. Environment is supporting. Structure is respected. ⸻ 🔮 What To Expect Over the next weeks: Expect: • Vertical stretch slowing • Calyx swelling acceleration • Resin increase • Water consumption gradually decreasing • Slight EC demand drop • Color stabilization before fade Do NOT expect: • Explosive vertical growth • Sudden nutrient demand spikes • Drastic leaf expansion We are past that phase. Now it’s density time. ⸻ 🙏 Gratitude To: • The GrowDiaries platform • The community • The OGs • The new followers • The lovers • The critics • The silent watchers • The sponsors • Everyone sharing knowledge We grow together. We learn together. We refine together. This plant brings us into the same room. Across countries. Across styles. Across philosophies. One love for the plant. One love for the craft. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Ghost Train Haze — Week 9 From Seed (Week 4 Flower | 12/12 From Seed — No Veg) This week is one of those moments where you don’t guide the plant… you observe it. She’s not just growing — she’s expressing. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Expression From the very beginning, this run was about letting the plant define itself under a 12/12 cycle — no artificial veg, no forced shaping. And now we see the result: • Strong sativa-dominant expression • Long internodal spacing, but still stacking • Large, beautifully structured fan leaves • Upright, confident growth — no signs of stress She’s currently sitting around ~1.6m, and still stretching. Not aggressively… but purposefully. This is what happens when a plant is: • Not overhandled • Not overcorrected • Simply supported ⸻ 🍃 The Leaves (Worth Stopping For) Those leaves… honestly, they tell the whole story. • Deep green, fully saturated • Clean veins, no deficiencies • Wide spread = efficient light capture • Slight red petioles — genetic expression + intensity, not stress You don’t touch leaves like these unless they ask you to. And right now — they’re not asking for anything. ⸻ 💡 Light & Environment To adapt to her vertical push, the whole room was raised slightly: • PPFD: ~1600–1700 at the top • Still within tolerance because: • She’s actively stretching • Metabolism is high • No signs of light stress Environment holding steady: • 🌡️ 28°C • 💧 ~65% RH • Outside contrast: cold + humid (10°C / 87%) We’re not chasing numbers — we’re watching leaf response (VPD-driven). And right now, she’s fully comfortable. ⸻ Feeding Strategy (Autopot + Support) Reservoir (Mineral Base): • Plagron Terra Bloom • Green Sensation • Power Buds • CalMag (first in solution) EC: ~2.9 – 3.0 → High, but clearly within her tolerance Top Feeding (Manual, occasional): • Sugar Royal • Pure Zym Nothing complicated. Just consistent availability + letting the plant decide uptake. ⸻ 🌸 Flower Development Week 4 flower and you can already see: • Clear bud site definition • Early stacking along the main stem • Structure preparing for weight She’s not rushing flower. She’s building the frame first. That usually means one thing later on: 👉 Potential for heavy, elongated colas ⸻ 🌱 Why This Works (No Veg Insight) Running 12/12 from seed on a plant like this does something interesting: • The plant skips horizontal bush building • It prioritizes vertical structure early • Energy goes into: • Stem strength • Root establishment • Early reproductive readiness For genetics like Ghost Train Haze (naturally large, vigorous): 👉 This approach helps control size without suppressing expression Outside, this would easily become a monster. Here, we’re letting her be big — just within a controlled ceiling. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week • Stretch should begin to slow down • Bud sites will start: • Thickening • Connecting • Nutrient demand may stabilize or slightly increase • Watch: • Light distance (she’s getting close) • Airflow through inner canopy No major interventions planned. We continue observing. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude To everyone walking this path with us: • The OGs who’ve been here from day one • The new eyes discovering the journey • The growers sharing knowledge openly • The communities — inside and outside this platform • The genetics, the gear, the support behind the scenes And yes — even the critics. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Ghost Train Ace — Week 10 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) “The Rise of Big Mama” 🔁 Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run has been unique from day one. 12/12 straight from seed — no traditional veg phase — letting each plant express itself naturally from the start. What we’re seeing now is a perfect example of what happens when strong genetics meet minimal restriction: • Explosive vertical growth • Natural structure formation • Zero training, just guidance And now, one plant has clearly stepped forward. Big Mama — standing around 180–183 cm, claiming her space, her light, and her identity. ⸻ 🌿 The Star of the Room From this point forward, the focus shifts. The other plants are doing well and will get their final report — but this one… this one is something special. • Massive vertical structure • Strong lateral branching • Bud sites stacking clean and aggressively • Resin already forming heavily for this stage And one of the most beautiful signs: 💧 Constant transpiration (“always praying and sweating”) → This is a plant fully engaged with her environment ⸻ 💡 Light Intensity — Controlled Chaos PPFD ranges: • Top canopy: ~1500 PPFD • Lower canopy: ~800 PPFD This variation is not a flaw — it’s a reflection of natural structure. Because: • Different heights = different light exposure • Different phenotypic expression = different light tolerance And she’s handling it like a champion. 👉 The top buds are pushing high photosynthetic limits 👉 Lower sites still receive enough energy to develop properly This creates: • Strong apical dominance • But still productive secondary flowers ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & VPD Balance • Temperature: 26°C • Humidity: 60% • CO₂: ~1000 ppm At first glance, 60% RH in flower might raise eyebrows — but here’s the key: 👉 Leaf VPD is in a functional range due to elevated CO₂ and active transpiration What we’re seeing: • High metabolic activity • Constant water movement • No stagnation This is not a passive environment — it’s alive. ⸻ 💨 Airflow — The Silent Engine At this stage, airflow becomes critical. Not just for: • Mold prevention But for: • Gas exchange • Transpiration efficiency • Heat distribution across the canopy With a plant this dense and tall, airflow isn’t optional — it’s structural support. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Strategy — Why This Approach This plant is on AutoPots, running mostly mineral feeding: • Terra Bloom • Power Buds • CalMag Pro With occasional organic input (non-strict, intuitive) Why this works here: AutoPots favor: • Stability • Clean nutrient delivery • Consistent EC 👉 Minerals ensure: • Immediate availability • No buildup or biofilm risk in the system 👉 Occasional organics: • Add complexity • Support microbial interaction (even if limited) This hybrid mindset gives: • Control + Expression ⸻ ⚡ Current Parameters • EC: 2.8 • pH: 6.5 • Adjusted with: • Lemon Kick • pH Plus She’s feeding heavy — no doubt about it. Estimated water intake: 👉 ~1.8 – 2L per day Which matches: • Her size • Her metabolic rate • Her constant transpiration ⸻ ❄️ Frost & Genetic Expression (ACE Influence) This is where things get exciting. ACE genetics tend to: • Stretch aggressively • Build structure before density • Then suddenly flip into resin production And that’s exactly what’s happening: 👉 Early frost development 👉 Aromas already loud at Week 5 👉 Bud formation still expanding This is the transition phase: Structure → Resin → Density ⸻ 📏 Stretch Status Stretch appears to be: 👉 Mostly complete Any further growth: • Likely minimal • Focus shifting into flower mass and resin production And honestly… with a plant already near 2 meters — that’s a blessing 😄 ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week • Bud stacking acceleration • Increased resin coverage • Stronger terpene expression • Higher nutrient demand stabilization • Possible slight fade starting on older leaves This is where she begins to define her final form. ⸻ 🙏 Gratitude — Always To everyone following this journey: • The day-one supporters • The silent watchers • The ones who comment • The skeptics • The OGs • The new growers • The platform • The community • The sponsors • The genetics • The tools • The lessons And even the challenges… Everything plays a role. DogDoctorOfficial Ghost Train Haze — Week 11 from Seed (Week 7 Flower) 12/12 from seed — no veg, no limits. She didn’t ask for permission. She just kept going. ⸻ Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run was never about controlling size. It was about channeling energy. Straight into 12/12 from seed. No vegetative phase to stretch her intentions— just a direct line from seed → structure → flower. And still… she chose to become a 1.8m tower. That tells you everything about the genetics. Stable environment. Consistent feeding. No interruptions, no panic moves. We didn’t push her. We kept up with her. ⸻ Week 7 Flower — Controlled Chaos At this stage, she’s fully expressing: – Vertical dominance – Long, stacked flower sites – Increasing density without losing structure – And that frost… building fast now She’s not just tall— she’s productive across the entire column. And the smell? Louder every day. Sharper. More complex. This is where Ghost Train starts to feel like Ghost Train. ⸻ Feeding & Parameters — Why These Numbers We’re running: – EC: ~2.9 – pH: 6.5 And yes—this is intentional. At this stage, demand is high. She’s not just building flowers, she’s maintaining a massive structure while doing it. The higher EC supports: – Sustained nutrient availability – Strong flower development – Continued metabolic activity at scale And the pH at 6.5 keeps nutrient uptake balanced in soil: – Phosphorus & potassium availability optimized – Micronutrients still accessible – No locking out key elements during peak demand Nothing extreme. Just aligned with what she’s asking for. ⸻ VPD — Leaf vs Room (Why 26°C / 60% Works Here) On paper, 26°C and 60% RH might look high for late flower. But here’s the nuance: – Room VPD is one thing – Leaf VPD is another With strong lighting and active transpiration, leaf temperature often runs slightly higher than ambient. That shifts the actual working VPD into a more optimal range than numbers alone suggest. So while the room reads: – 26°C – 60% RH The plant is effectively operating in a comfortable transpiration zone, not a risky one. This is why context matters more than charts. ⸻ About the “Delay” — Sativa Expression She’s a Haze. So yes—compared to others in the room, she appears “slower.” But let’s be clear: This isn’t delay. This is genetic pacing. And honestly? For a Haze under 12/12 from seed… She’s actually ahead of where you’d expect her to be. That early flowering trigger shortened the stretch window and pushed her into production sooner. Without it? She wouldn’t be 1.8m. She’d be… a problem 😄 ⸻ What We’re Seeing Now – Frost production accelerating noticeably – Buds forming along the entire height – Structure holding surprisingly well for her size – Aroma intensifying into that sharp, hazy profile She’s not finished. But she’s clearly committed. ⸻ What We’re Watching At this size and density, attention shifts to: – Airflow through the full vertical column – Moisture pockets deep in the structure – Any signs of late-stage stress under high EC – Light distribution across top vs lower sites This is where big plants test your environment. Mr. Baggy is on patrol 🕵️‍♂️ Especially in the middle zones. ⸻ What to Expect Next Week – Continued resin production spike – Buds beginning to tighten and gain weight – Aromas becoming heavier, more defined – Possible early signs of maturation in upper sites She’ll keep stretching a little… but the focus is shifting toward finishing energy. ⸻ Final Thought Some plants follow the room. Some plants define it. This one? She changed the space around her. ⸻ Gratitude To everyone walking this journey with us— The OGs. The new eyes. The loud ones. The quiet ones. The supporters and the skeptics. To the platform. To the community. To the genetics behind this powerhouse. To the partners walking with us. And to every grower learning to read plants instead of chasing numbers. DogDoctorOfficial Ghost Train Haze · Week 12 From Seed Catching The Ghost Train Haze @ Zamnesia 👻 Week 12 from seed, and this one is still all momentum. While the room as a whole is beginning to slow, this plant still carries forward motion — not in stretch, not in structure, but in sheer flower mass. The frame is already built. The architecture is done. What remains now is density, resin, and finish. And in true Ghost Train fashion, she is doing all of it at full scale. This is not a subtle plant. Not in height. Not in width. Not in flower. Not in presence. She has become one of those plants that changes the feel of the room just by standing in it. ⸻ From Seed to Here From the beginning, this one showed a very different kind of energy. Where some plants stayed compact and conservative, Ghost Train Haze never really asked for permission. She moved with intent early, built fast, stacked hard, and never gave much reason to doubt what she wanted to become. This was never a small-frame cultivar. Even early on, the message was clear: longer frame, stronger reach, larger vertical push, heavier terminal expression. She wanted space. She wanted support. She wanted structure. And she got all three. LST helped guide the shape, but the real work here was not controlling her — it was supporting her. Because once she committed to flower, this became less about training and more about load management. That is where we are now. The structure is built. The weight is here. And now the room is no longer shaping her. It is holding her up. ⸻ Week 12 — Same Room, Same Rules Even an outlier still finishes inside the ecosystem. And that matters here. Ghost Train may still have more runway left than some of the others in the room, but she does not flower in isolation. She flowers inside a shared environment, shared rhythm, and shared finish window. That means she moves with the room. So while she may still have another two weeks — maybe three — of true finish left in her, she is now on the same simplified path as the rest of the garden: less input, less push, less bottle, more observation. Which means this week she also moves into water-only irrigation with Pure Zym staying in rotation. Not because she is finished. Because the room is. And now we get to watch how far the biology carries her from here. ⸻ Why Pure Zym Still Stays This is where late flower becomes more interesting than people think. Yes, the nutrient stack is stripped back. Yes, the EC is down. Yes, the pH has drifted higher and we are no longer forcing correction. That is not neglect. That is transition. At this stage, we are no longer trying to push aggressive uptake through bottled input. We are leaning on what the medium still holds and what the biology is still able to process. And in a living medium, that matters. Pure Zym stays because even when the feed is reduced, the soil is still active. Root turnover is still happening. Organic matter is still breaking down. Microbial life is still cycling what remains in the pot. The plant may be receiving less from the bottle, but it is not receiving nothing. It is still being fed by the medium. Still being supported by microbial activity. Still pulling from what is already present. And for a plant this large, late-flower access matters more than late-flower force. We are not trying to make her bigger now. We are trying to help her finish clean. ⸻ The Plant Right Now Massive. That is the only honest place to begin. This is one of those plants that stops looking like a “large auto” and starts looking like a full structural problem. The main cola is no longer just oversized. It is arm-thick. Baseball-bat territory. A true terminal flower with enough mass that support is no longer optional. And the support tells the story as clearly as the flowers do. This is not one yo-yo on one top. This is multiple yo-yos across the plant because this is no longer about holding a cola upright — it is about distributing load across a living structure carrying more than it was ever meant to hold alone. That is always a good sign. When support becomes structural, the plant has done its job. And she has. Top to bottom, this plant is carrying serious weight. The primary colas are dense, heavy, and fully formed. The secondary sites are not filler. Even the lower flowers — the ones that often end up loose, airy, or forgettable on lesser runs — are dense, firm, and fully worth keeping. No fluff. No waste. No real popcorn to speak of. Just smaller flowers with the same intent. That is the mark of a properly loaded plant. ⸻ Resin, Density & Finish And now she is frosting properly. The structure was always there. Now the resin is catching up to the weight. Trichome production is climbing harder this week, and it shows across the full flower surface — not just on sugar leaf edges, but across the bracts themselves, where it matters most. The frost is no longer isolated. It is spreading. And that changes the whole look of the plant. The flowers are tightening. The resin is thickening. The surfaces are becoming brighter, stickier, and more defined. And underneath that frost is the part that matters most: density. This plant is not just large. She is solid. Not visually dense. Physically dense. Firm flowers. Hard lowers. Heavy tops. No softness anywhere. That is the kind of late flower you want to see. ⸻ Conditions & Late Flower Response Room conditions remain stable and in line with the rest of the garden. Temperature remains unchanged from the previous week. Humidity remains steady. The environment stays consistent because the room is still reading correctly at leaf level. What has changed is the input. EC is down. The feed is simplified. The pH has drifted higher and is no longer being forced into correction. And that is fine. At this stage, the room is no longer being steered through numbers alone. It is being steered through response. Leaf posture. Water demand. Flower tension. Resin development. Overall plant rhythm. And the response remains strong. So the room stays steady. ⸻ What to Expect Next Now we watch how far she wants to carry herself. Over the next stretch, expect: * continued resin push * stronger aroma development * slower but heavier calyx swelling * more visible trichome maturity * reduced water demand * increased support demand * deeper finish expression across the flower surface What not to expect: * much more stretch * explosive new vertical growth * dramatic structural change * a fast finish just because the room is slowing She may still have another week. She may still have three. That depends entirely on how well the root zone and stored energy carry her through the final phase. And that is exactly what makes this stage worth watching. Now we find out how much of the finish was in the bottle — and how much was already in the plant. ⸻ Gratitude A plant like this is never the work of one hand alone. Respect to Zamnesia for the genetics. Respect to Plagron for supporting the root zone to the finish. Respect to the LEDs for driving the room start to end. Respect to the gear holding the weight when the branches no longer can. Respect to the platform for letting growers document the process honestly. Respect to everyone following, supporting, questioning, learning, sharing, and watching. To the day ones. To the growers. To the curious. To the skeptics. To the old heads. To the new eyes. To the ones here for the data. To the ones here for the beauty. To the ones still learning how to read a plant. And to the ones who already can. DogDoctorOfficial Week 13 from Seed | Ghost Train Haze (12/12 From Seed) The Queen of the Room Week 13 from seed marks a special point in this run, and for this update the spotlight belongs to one plant in particular — the undeniable queen of the room. This Ghost Train Haze has been the outlier from the beginning. Same treatment, same schedule, same root space, same 12/12-from-seed approach as the rest of the room — but she chose her own direction early and never looked back. No veg, no special treatment, no extra time. Just pure expression. And she expressed big. At nearly 1.8 meters tall, she became the tallest plant in the room by a comfortable margin, stretching far beyond her sisters and building into a true vertical queen. Her main cola is massive, dominant, and impossible to ignore, but what makes her impressive is that the rest of the plant actually kept pace. This isn’t just one oversized top and a weak frame underneath — the entire structure followed through beautifully, with strong secondary flower sites and consistent development all the way down. She’s tall. She’s heavy. And she earned every yo-yo holding her up. At this point, support is no longer optional. The main cola carries serious weight, but so do the side branches, and by now most of the plant is being assisted to keep everything upright and stable. Late flower is no longer about shaping — it’s about holding the frame together long enough to finish properly. And she’s finishing beautifully. The flower set is now fully mature, with long, dense spears stacking hard and resin production spreading well beyond the tops. Frost coverage is exceptional this week, and the plant has clearly shifted out of “building” and into “ripening.” Calyxes are swelling, resin heads are multiplying, and the entire plant is beginning to wear that late-flower look that tells you the end is close. Not finished. But clearly approaching it. One of the clearest signs is in the fade. The yellow and orange tones now starting to move through the fan leaves are exactly what we want to see at this stage. With nutrients pulled back and only enzymes remaining in the water, the plant is now doing what late flower plants are supposed to do: consuming what remains, mobilizing stored energy, and redirecting everything toward the flowers. This is not deficiency. This is senescence. A controlled, expected end-of-cycle fade. The enzymes are helping break down residual material in the substrate, keeping the root zone active and clean while the plant finishes using what it already has available. The color shift in the leaves is the visual confirmation of that transition — less energy going into maintaining foliage, more energy going into finishing flower. And she’s responding exactly as hoped. This week also carried a fitting bit of atmosphere: the Red Moon. A small visual moment, but a very appropriate one. The timing lined up perfectly with where the room is now — because the room itself has begun to turn red too. At this stage, spectrum is being pushed more heavily toward red than white. The room is no longer being driven for broad vegetative energy or aggressive structural development. Now the goal is simpler: guide the final stage, support ripening, and let the plants finish under a warmer, more flower-forward spectrum. That shift is visible immediately in the room. The red dominance is stronger now, the whites are less prominent, and the overall environment has taken on that unmistakable late-cycle tone. Alongside that, the end-of-day far-red treatment remains in place — roughly 15 minutes after lights-off — used here as part of the final flowering approach to gently support the plant through the transition into night and help reinforce that end-of-cycle signal. Nothing extreme. Just small spectral nudges in the right direction. And the room is responding fast. She is still drinking well, though intake has begun to slow slightly — which is expected now. Uptake remains strong enough to show she is still active, still moving, still finishing with intent, but the pace is beginning to taper as she shifts closer to the line. That makes this week less about intervention and more about observation. Right now, trichomes are the real clock. This is the stage where structure, density, and visual appeal matter less than resin maturity. Frost levels are already excellent, but the harvest window will be decided by the heads, not the shine. For this run, the target remains the same: mostly cloudy trichomes, a light touch of amber, and still a few clear heads remaining. That balance still isn’t fully here yet. She is moving fast, but not finished fast. The room is alive, the room is accelerating, and she is clearly entering the final phase — but the resin still needs a little more time to land exactly where we want it. Elsewhere in the room, this week also brought the arrival of the Bubbleator — a welcome addition, and one that will soon have its role to play. Not for this queen, but for one (or maybe two) of her sisters headed toward ice water and a different kind of finish. That part comes next, and it’ll be shared properly when the time comes. For now, all eyes stay here. What to expect next week: more swelling, more fade, heavier terp expression, slightly slower drinking, and trichomes becoming the only metric that really matters. What not to expect: major changes, last-minute corrections, or unnecessary interference. At this stage, the work is mostly done. Now it’s about patience, timing, and letting the plant complete what she already started. As always — love to everyone following along. The longtime growers, the new eyes, the curious, the skeptics, the quiet supporters, the quick stoppers, the day-ones, the lurkers, the lovers, and even the haters. DogDoctorOfficial Before starting this harvest chapter, I want to apologize once again for not uploading everything directly into the official harvest and smoke review tabs. GrowDiaries has been struggling a little with very large uploads lately, and with the amount of photos, videos and information involved in this Ghost Train Haze harvest, I decided to split everything into multiple parts to make sure nothing gets lost or broken during upload. And honestly… this plant deserves the full story. So welcome to Part 1 of the Ghost Train Haze harvest. 🌱✨ Before talking about harvest itself, let’s do a quick recap of how we even arrived here. This was another 12/12-from-seed run. No traditional vegging. Very little manipulation. Minimal training. Mostly just letting the plants naturally express themselves while guiding environment, airflow, watering and light intensity carefully around them. Instead of forcing the plants into a shape, the goal here was to let them grow naturally into the PPFD and into the environment themselves. And wow… Ghost Train Haze really showed personality during this run. Most of the attention naturally went toward the massive main plant everybody keeps seeing in the photos — the giant colorful spear covered in fading reds, dark purples and swollen flowers — but there were multiple plants in this room, and in this harvest report we’ll finally start talking about all of them and the different directions they took after harvest. By Week 14, the room looked absolutely incredible. The fading on these plants became something special. Deep reds. Dark purples. Almost black tones in some areas. Golden fading leaves. Heavy trichome coverage. Color spreading through the sugar leaves and surrounding flower tissue. One of those harvests where the plants almost stop looking real. And underneath all those colors: extremely heavy flowers. Dense. Massive. Sharp aromas. Long spears everywhere. The branches became so heavy during late flower that support was absolutely necessary. Yo-yos were holding branches constantly, helping prevent collapse under the weight of the flowers. And the moment the supports came out during harvest… everything opened and leaned downward immediately under its own weight. That alone says a lot about the size and density of these flowers. There are photos in this report where I’m holding entire plants, and honestly, seeing them outside the tent really puts scale into perspective. It’s one of those plants that instantly makes you imagine how unbelievably huge she could become outdoors in native soil with unrestricted root space. Harvest day finally arrived, and from there the project split into two different paths. Some plants were harvested whole and hung for traditional drying. Others were fully broken down, every single flower removed from the branches, vacuum sealed into bags and immediately frozen for ice-water extraction work. And this is where things start becoming really interesting. Because this report is not only about harvesting flower. It’s also about exploring different post-harvest directions and understanding why growers process material differently depending on their goals. The flowers selected for traditional drying will continue their journey in Part 2, where we’ll focus much more deeply on drying conditions, moisture management, branch snapping, trimming and curing. But for now… let’s talk about the frozen material and ice-water extraction. ❄️ After harvesting, the flowers destined for washing were separated carefully and placed into vacuum bags before going into the freezer. Freezing fresh material helps preserve volatile compounds, terpene expression and trichome integrity while preparing the flowers for ice-water extraction. And no — this is not simply “throwing weed into ice.” There’s actual science and technique behind this process. Before washing, the frozen material is combined with ice and extremely cold water, ideally close to 0°C. The goal is to make the trichome heads brittle enough to detach cleanly while keeping unwanted plant contamination as low as possible. At the same time, the flowers need time to fully soak and rehydrate slightly before agitation starts. This helps reduce excessive breakage of plant material during washing. And then comes the wash itself. The bubble washer machine agitates the mixture gently, allowing trichome heads to separate naturally from the plant material and suspend inside the cold water. From there, the water passes through a series of filtration bags with different micron sizes. 25 micron. 45 micron. 73 micron. 90 micron. 120 micron. 160 micron. 220 micron. Each size captures different grades and sizes of resin heads and contaminants. We are not using every single bag configuration during this run, and we’ll go much deeper into grading, collection quality, drying and final results later in the series. But since this report already includes videos and photos of the process itself, I thought this was the perfect moment to explain what ice-water extraction actually is — and what it is not. This process is not about adding anything. It’s about separating what the plant already naturally created. Water. Ice. Agitation. Filtration. Patience. That’s it. And honestly… watching these resin-covered flowers moving inside ice water almost feels hypnotic. The harvest itself may be finished… but the real post-harvest journey is only beginning now. This report will continue in the next update very soon because there is simply too much material, too many photos and too much information to fit properly into a single upload without risking GrowDiaries crashing or losing content again. Part 2 will continue deeper into: the drying process, environmental control, trimming, flower handling, and the continuation of both post-harvest paths. And eventually, Part 3 will close the circle with curing, smoke review, flavors, extraction reflections, effects and final thoughts. As always, thank you to everybody following this journey. To Zamnesia for the genetics. To Plagron for the nutrition. To all the gear keeping this room alive day after day. To GrowDiaries itself. To the community. To the longtime followers and OGs. To the new people arriving every day. To the curious ones. To the silent supporters. To the lovers. To the skeptics. To the haters. To everyone who stopped by, even for a moment. DogDoctorOfficial Ghost Train Haze — Harvest / Trim / Cure Part 2 — Trimming, Resin & First Cure First of all, once again, sorry for dividing this harvest into three different parts. But honestly… there was just no way to fit this entire experience into one single update without rushing it. This run became something special for us. So instead of throwing everything into one giant report, we wanted to slow things down and give each phase the attention it deserves. Part 1 was about harvest day itself — especially the frozen plant and the preparation for the future ice water hash runs. Now in Part 2, we focus on the monster of the room. The big Ghost Train Haze girl. The giant. And damn… she was beautiful. ⸻ The Giant Finally Ready After drying slowly and patiently, she finally reached that moment every grower waits for: the stem click. Not bending anymore. Not soft anymore. That perfect dry snap telling us she was finally ready for trimming. And honestly, seeing this massive plant hanging there fully dried was already rewarding by itself. Huge flowers. Dense structure. Long spears everywhere. Frost absolutely covering the plant from top to bottom. At this point, we brought out the Trim Bin, got comfortable, and of course… Mr. Baggy joined the session too. Because trimming alone is trimming. But trimming with the homies becomes part of the memory. ⸻ Trimming This Beast Once we started separating the branches and working through the flowers properly, one thing became immediately obvious: This plant was ridiculously frosty. And I mean ridiculously. Possibly the frostiest plant in the entire room. Every touch released resin. Every nug felt sticky. Scissors getting glued together constantly. Gloves turning darker and shinier minute after minute. The flowers themselves came out incredibly dense and compact too. Heavy in the hand. Proper weight to them. Not airy at all despite the sativa influence from Ghost Train Haze. And visually? Beautiful. Silver-covered calyxes. Orange hairs fading perfectly into the resin layer. Chunky flowers with that classic “don’t squeeze too hard or you’ll ruin the trichomes” feeling. This girl truly felt like a reward after the full cycle. ⸻ The Trim Bin Surprise One thing we absolutely loved during this trimming session was watching how much resin naturally collected inside the Trim Bin. By the end of the session, the amount of loose trichome heads sitting underneath the screen was honestly crazy. No dry sift machine. No mechanical shaker. Just trimming. And still… A beautiful golden layer of resin waiting for us underneath. Of course, finger hash also started building up naturally while trimming. Sticky gloves. Sticky fingers. Sticky scissors. The classic signs of a happy trimming session. Then came one of our favorite moments of the day. ⸻ Playing The Drums — Moroccan Style At the end, we decided to have some fun with the trim itself. Using the dry material almost like traditional Moroccan drum-sifting techniques, we gently worked the trim leaves and remaining material to knock off even more trichomes. Simple. Relaxed. Traditional-inspired. And honestly? It worked beautifully. What we collected afterward turned into a gorgeous little hash bar that looked and smelled incredible. We didn’t even bother weighing it. Sometimes not everything needs numbers. Some things are simply for the experience. For the ritual. For the future session. For curiosity. For enjoyment. And this one definitely earned its place for later tasting sessions. ⸻ Final Dry Weight After everything was trimmed, cleaned, and separated, the final dry flower weight from this single plant came to: 294.9 grams dry Honestly? We’re extremely happy with that. Almost 300 grams from a single plant in this run is something we can absolutely appreciate. Especially considering this entire project was: * 12/12 from seed * Minimal training * Minimal intervention * Natural structure * Mostly observation and guidance Just letting the plant express herself while giving her the right environment. And she rewarded us massively. ⸻ Storage & Cure — Different Approaches Once trimming was done, we started organizing the curing process using different storage methods. This time we decided to split the flower between: * Glass jars * Metal Zamnesia containers * Grove Bags Each one has its own purpose and philosophy. Glass Jars The classic. Simple, reliable, proven for decades. Perfect for manual burping and personally controlling the curing environment yourself. They also allow us to visually inspect the flowers easily during cure. ⸻ Metal Containers The Zamnesia metal containers feel more protective physically and also help reduce light exposure completely. They feel solid. Clean. Almost laboratory-like. A very nice option for preserving flower while keeping things discreet and protected. ⸻ Grove Bags These are probably the most modern approach we tested in this run. The idea behind Grove Bags is that their “TerpLoc” technology supposedly regulates humidity internally while allowing gas exchange in a controlled way. The theory is that they naturally maintain flower within the ideal curing range around: 58–62% RH without constant burping. So now we’re extremely curious to compare all three methods later during the smoke review phase: * Does one preserve terpenes better? * Does one keep the flower softer? * Does aroma evolve differently? * Does cure quality actually change? We’ll definitely revisit this in Part 3. ⸻ The Frozen Plant — Flower Comparison After finishing the main giant plant, we also trimmed and cured the material that came from the frozen/hash-focused plant from Part 1. This was important for us because we wanted to compare: * Flower from the “normal dried” plant vs * Flower from the plant intended mainly for extraction And surprisingly? The terpene profiles feel extremely similar. Same family. Same identity. Same Ghost Train Haze soul. Maybe slight differences in intensity or texture, but overall the profile remained very recognizable between both plants. Which honestly gives us a very good feeling about the future hash quality too. The frozen plant itself ended up giving: 58.5 grams dry Plus whatever was already separated and reserved through the frozen material process itself. So overall, absolutely worth it. ⸻ Macro Photography & Focus Stacking During all this, we also continued working on our macro photography experiments. Some of the photos shared in this update were actually focus-stacked images made from: * 112 photos * 96 photos * 33 photos For people unfamiliar with focus stacking: Macro photography has extremely shallow depth of field. When you photograph trichomes closely, only tiny portions stay in focus at once. So instead, we take dozens — sometimes over a hundred — separate images with different focus points and merge them together afterward in software. The result is a final image where the entire flower or trichome field becomes sharp at the same time. It takes time. It takes patience. But honestly, we love the process. Because cannabis truly deserves to be appreciated up close. ⸻ Trimming Timelapses We also recorded trimming timelapses so people can better see the workflow behind everything. Not just the glamorous final nug shots. But the actual process: * separating branches * cleaning flowers * resin building up * trim collecting * the mess * the rhythm * the work itself Because behind every beautiful cured flower, there are hours of patience nobody usually sees. ⸻ What Comes Next — Part 3 The next and final report will focus on: * Full smoke review * Cure evolution * Drying process explained deeper * Flavor profile * Terpene expression * Effects * Overall experience with Ghost Train Haze * Personal reflections after living with this cultivar That final report will close the entire Ghost Train Haze journey properly. ⸻ Thank You And as always… Huge thanks to everybody who stopped by this journey. To the breeders behind these genetics. To the companies making nutrients, LEDs, gear, and tools possible. To the platforms that allow growers to share their passion openly. To the community members constantly supporting each other. To the OG followers. To the new followers. To the silent viewers. To the growers. To the curious people. To the skeptics. To the lovers. To the haters too. If this grow made somebody stop scrolling for even a few seconds and appreciate the plant differently… that already means something to us. From grower to growers. Ghost Train Haze — Strain Review “Some strains get remembered. Some strains leave a mark.” Rating: 13/10 Yes. We know. That makes absolutely no sense mathematically. And honestly? We don’t care. Because this Ghost Train Haze earned every extra point. ⸻ The Grow From the very beginning, this cultivar felt alive in a special way. Fast growth. Aggressive vigor. Beautiful structure. Constant energy. Even under a relatively simple: * 12/12 from seed * low-intervention * minimal training approach she still exploded into a massive plant with long spears, stacked flowers, and serious production. And despite the sativa influence, she surprised us heavily with: * density * weight * resin production * and overall flower quality This wasn’t one of those “looks amazing but feels airy” plants. No. These flowers came out: * compact * heavy * sticky * greasy * loud * and properly frosted Every trimming session felt like handling sugar-coated diesel-covered rocks. ⸻ Frost & Resin Production Absolutely ridiculous. Honestly one of the frostiest plants in the room. The kind of flower where: * scissors stop working after minutes * gloves turn black with resin * and the trim bin starts collecting trichomes almost immediately Even after trimming, the amount of loose resin collected naturally was impressive enough to turn into beautiful smokeable hash without even trying too hard. The flower itself shines under light like it was dusted with crystal. Pure trichome coverage. ⸻ Aroma & Terpene Profile This is where Ghost Train Haze became unforgettable. Opening Notes: * Lemon peel * Tangerine * Sharp citrus zest Then underneath: * diesel * gas * earthy spice * almost pepper-like warmth on the exhale The inhale is bright and citrus-forward. The exhale becomes deeper, warmer, slightly spicy, and lingering. Very layered. Very expressive. Very “alive.” One of those terpene profiles that keeps making you smell the jar again and again for no reason other than: “Wait… what exactly is that note?” ⸻ Smoke Quality Excellent. Smooth despite intensity. Flavorful all the way through. Expands beautifully in the lungs without feeling harsh. The ash burned clean. The flower grinds perfectly. Joint texture stays fluffy while still resin-heavy. And the taste remains recognizable from start to finish. That’s something we always appreciate. Some strains smell amazing but disappear after ignition. This one keeps speaking all the way through the session. ⸻ Effects This is where Ghost Train Haze truly shines. The effect feels: * uplifting * euphoric * creative * energetic * social * mentally stimulating * long-lasting This is not couch-lock medicine. This is: * editing music at 2AM medicine * deep conversation medicine * creative session medicine * “let’s build something” medicine One of those cultivars that makes the world feel brighter without making the mind feel chaotic. The balance is beautiful. Strong enough to absolutely hit hard… but still functional and inspiring when respected properly. And yes: if you push too far, she will humble you. Especially in extract form. ⸻ Ice Water Hash Performance Interestingly, the flower quality translated beautifully into flavor for extraction… but not necessarily into massive washing returns. Which became a fascinating learning experience. The little resin we collected, however, turned into: * sandy * bubbling * melty * terpene-rich gold dust And the flavor? Almost identical to the flower itself. Just amplified. Like Ghost Train Haze concentrated into pure essence. ⸻ Overall Experience Honestly? This is one of those cultivars that reminds us why we love growing in the first place. Not because it was perfect. Not because it broke records. But because it had personality. It felt unique. Recognizable. Memorable. The kind of plant you remember months later. The kind of jar you keep reopening just to smell it again. The kind of smoke that becomes attached to moments, conversations, editing nights, music sessions, and memories. ⸻ Final Verdict Ghost Train Haze gets: 13/10 Because sometimes a strain goes beyond numbers. This one gave us: * massive flowers * incredible resin * uplifting effects * beautiful terpenes * amazing smoke * and a full experience from seed to cure that genuinely stayed exciting the entire way through Would we grow her again? Absolutely. Would we recommend her? Without hesitation. Would we keep her? If we were hunting keepers right now… 100%. ⸻ Ghost Train Haze Loud. Frosty. Energetic. Memorable. A proper train ride.

DogDoctorOfficial Ghost Train Haze — Harvest / Trim / Cure Part 3 — Smoke Review, Cure & Final Reflections First of all, once again, sorry for dividing this harvest into three different parts. But honestly… this run deserved it. There was simply too much to document properly: * the harvest itself, * the frozen material, * the trimming process, * the resin collection, * the curing, * the smoke review, * the extraction experiments, * and everything we learned along the way. So if somebody lands here first, definitely go back and check: * Part 1 — Harvest & Frozen Material * Part 2 — Trimming, Resin & Cure * and now finally… * Part 3 — Smoke Review & Final Thoughts This closes the Ghost Train Haze journey properly. ⸻ From Seed To Here This entire run started as a simple idea: A 12/12 from seed project with minimal intervention. No extreme training. No overcomplicated techniques. No chasing perfection. Just good environment, patience, observation, and letting the plants express themselves naturally. And honestly? Ghost Train Haze surprised us from beginning to end. She grew huge. She stacked beautifully. She handled the run incredibly well. And by the end, she rewarded us with some seriously impressive medicine. ⸻ Drying Process After harvest, the flowers were dried slowly over roughly: ~10 days The environment stayed around: * 20°C * ~60% RH Although during the first few days we intentionally kept humidity a bit lower, around: * ~45% RH just to help remove the initial surface moisture from the largest flowers and biggest branches. After that first phase, we stabilized the environment and allowed the flowers to finish drying slowly and more evenly. Once the stems finally gave us that perfect click instead of bending… we knew they were ready. ⸻ Trimming & Flower Preparation Everything was trimmed carefully by hand using trim bins. Each bud was worked individually. No rushing. No machine trimming. No shortcuts. Just sitting down, taking our time, appreciating the flowers properly while separating the trim material and preserving as many trichomes as possible. Some branches from selected plants had already been frozen earlier for extraction experiments, but we still kept portions of those flowers aside specifically to compare terpene profiles later. And honestly? That became one of the most interesting parts of this whole project. ⸻ Final Flower Results The main Ghost Train Haze plant delivered: 294.9 grams dry From a single plant. Honestly, we’re extremely happy with that result. Especially considering: * 12/12 from seed * minimal training * relatively natural structure * and a grow focused more on observation than manipulation This girl came out: * super frosty * extremely dense * heavy * sticky * loud * and honestly some seriously impressive medicine She grinds beautifully. Smokes beautifully. Burns properly. Produces thick flavorful smoke. And even visually after cure, the flowers stayed absolutely gorgeous. Very impressed with this one. Seriously. ⸻ Terpene Profile The terpene profile on this Ghost Train Haze came out incredible. The first thing hitting us immediately is: citrus Strong citrus. Lemons. Tangerines. Almost candied citrus peel at moments. Then underneath that comes: * diesel * gas * and a spicy layer hiding deeper inside What’s interesting is how the profile changes between inhale and exhale. On the inhale: * citrus * lemon * tangerine * sweet diesel On the exhale: that spicy edge suddenly appears and lingers afterward. Very layered profile. Very expressive. Very “Ghost Train Haze.” ⸻ Effects This one became one of those cultivars that instantly makes sense after smoking it. The effect is: * uplifting * euphoric * long-lasting * energetic without becoming uncomfortable This is amazing for: * social situations * editing * creative work * conversations * daytime sessions * music * focus * mood elevation One of those strains that makes you want to do things. It feels active. Bright. Creative. A proper sativa-leaning experience. And honestly? This would absolutely be a keeper if we were currently selecting keeper genetics. Without question. ⸻ Ice Water Hash — Expectations vs Reality Now comes one of the most interesting lessons from this run. The ice water hash. To be completely honest… The washing results were not what we expected. We expected significantly larger returns. But apparently — and something we are now learning more deeply — many sativa-dominant plants simply do not wash as heavily as other cultivars. Something about the trichome structure itself seems different. At first we thought: “Maybe we made a mistake.” But after talking with more experienced hash makers, many confirmed the same thing: Sativas often do not wash particularly well. Still… We absolutely want to test this again ourselves in future runs before fully accepting it as a rule. Because learning through direct experience matters. And honestly, that’s part of the beauty of growing: every run teaches something new. ⸻ The Hash Itself Even though returns were smaller than expected… What we did collect came out beautiful. Instead of making temple balls or pressing it further, we decided to keep it as loose resin. After washing: * we separated the first micron grades that contained too much plant material * saved that material separately for possible future pressing * and combined the cleaner fractions together since the goal here was simply enjoying it in joints The drying process itself took roughly: ~5 days using freezer-assisted drying. We repeatedly: * checked it * broke it apart * let moisture escape slowly * returned it * and continued until fully dry Then finally… we gently ground it down into this gorgeous: * golden * sandy * slightly brown/yellow * bubbling resin dust And honestly? This stuff melts inside joints almost like cream. Beautiful texture. Beautiful melt. Beautiful flavor. The terpene profile stayed extremely similar to the flower itself too — just amplified. Same citrus. Same diesel. Same spice. But concentrated. Like the flower turned up several levels higher. ⸻ Hash Effects The effects from the ice water hash were honestly incredible too. Very similar to the flower… just multiplied. Way more intense. Way faster. Way heavier. And if pushed too far? Honestly it can become overwhelming enough to put you to sleep despite the uplifting sativa profile. At that point it almost feels less about “indica vs sativa” and more simply: “that was too much THC for one sitting.” Which honestly is understandable with concentrated resin. ⸻ Storage & Preservation At the moment, the loose resin is now safely stored inside glass jars for preservation. Simple. Reliable. Easy to monitor. And the flower itself continues curing across: * glass jars * Grove Bags * and metal containers which we’ll continue comparing over time to see how each method evolves the terpene profile differently. ⸻ Final Thoughts Overall… Ghost Train Haze was an incredible experience from start to finish. This cultivar gave us: * beautiful structure * amazing frost * fantastic flower quality * uplifting effects * expressive terpenes * and a full cycle filled with learning Not every plant needs to break records to become memorable. But this one honestly did both. And even more importantly: it gave us moments. The trimming sessions. The resin collection. The photography. The experiments. The conversations. The smoke sessions afterward. That’s the real magic behind growing. ⸻ Thank You And finally… Huge thanks to everybody who followed this journey. To the breeders behind the genetics. To the companies creating nutrients, LEDs, tents, and gear. To the platforms allowing growers to share their passion openly. To the grower communities keeping knowledge alive. To the OG followers. To the new followers. To the silent viewers. To the experienced growers. To the curious people. To the skeptics. To the lovers. To the haters too. If somebody stopped scrolling for even a few seconds and appreciated this plant differently because of this journey… that already means something. From grower to growers.
