Was getting concerned about some really high humidity levels this late into the flower stage but thankfully humidity has dropped and continues to drop for just in time for this late flower stage to get on its way. This has been an excellent grow and the buds are starting to really fill out and give off a great smell. Should only be a couple more weeks till harvest.

Time flies, we have arrived in a flash at day 16, it seems like the other day that the first young ladies were appearing on September 1st. "Do you remember.....nanannana Septermber" She is the Karen Kush, a brand new strain with almost no previous cultivation, it has a crazy name and from the first weeks of growth it actually seems a bit crazy. Low internodal distance, regular growth. I made a small mistake, I personally went a bit easy with the growth fertilizer and there is a slight beginning of nitrogen deficiency, but we solve it immediately by giving the normal doses, don't worry. Usually I am in line with the table now I was slightly under with the grow and I did wrong. Let it be clear that if you see a slight fading, next week you will not see it anymore. --- feeding program - As I mentioned I was shy with fertilization and the seedlings are slightly, very slightly faded, let's learn to notice these small signs and with the normal doses after two or three waterings we should be fine. So, I chopped her on day 70. She was very ready. The last week I kept the girls in the shade a bit during the day. We´ve had temperatures close to 40 degrees C. I didn´t want to expose them to too much heat.

My plant now smells even more intense every day. I am very happy to use an activated carbon filter, so you smell absolutely nothing outside the tent. I have now started to hang a camera in the tent and am experimenting with different durations for a timelapse recording. Currently I take a picture every 30 minutes, but will go up to one every hour.

The plants grows verry well,no problems at all,the temprature is really good,the humidity is awesome so we are just waiting for the magic to happens!

Nach einer Woche Nährstoff Lockout durch zu viel Wasser haben sich die Ladys wieder erholt und trotzdem ca 5 cm zugelegt. Ich habe jetzt 6 Tage nicht gegossen und morgen gibt es nur 1,5 Liter und am Montag nochmal 1 Liter. Dann dürfen sie wieder 4 Tage davon zehren. Danach sollten die Wurzeln stark genug und angewachsen sein, um mit den geplanten 2,5 Liter Wasser weiter zu gießen. Dann ca alle 3 Tage bis Woche 5 und dann gießen nach Plan auf biologischer Erde - ca 1/3 des Topfvolumens pro Gießgang. Man kann an manchen Stellen den Mg/Ca Lockout gut erkennen. Bin gespannt wie es weiter geht. 🤞 Stofftöpfe ist eine neue Erfahrung für mich 🌱🌿💚 Keep on growing 💚

June 30, 2019 at 2am / Day 23: 4.5" maximum height. Light LST and I defoliated 2 inner leaves for light penetration below. Light moved to 24" above canopy. I moved it up a bit higher than usual to promote vertical growth and for stretch across the 5 gallon pot. I have been keeping the light between 12 and 18 inches, and hope to be back at those heights soon. Watered with PH 6.07. Second runoff PH 6.44. I water the whole 5 gallon pot with a little more than 1 liter every 2 days. July 1, 2019 at 3pm / Day 24: Nice vertical growth at 5" maximum height prior to LST. Breezing through LST and light pruning of inner leaves. Hard to notice if there are delays from the stress. I'd say that there are and it is minimal. The exposure to stress and extra light may outweigh the stress. She seems really strong and happy. lol 9:00 pm more LST. July 2 at 1am / Day 25: Gone into preflower. Maximum height 6". Light moved back down to 14" above canopy. Watered with PH 6.1. Second runoff at PH 6.42. Watering is now 1L every day to day and half max. 2pm: Light moved to 18", Light LST at 3:30pm. 6pm: Light moved back to 14" at night and 18" in the day. July 3 at 3pm / Day 26: After minimal LST maximum height at 5.75". 6" at 10 pm. July 4 at Day 27: Defoliated and mixed in a very teeny teeny, tiny sprinkle of Gaia Green 4-4-4 slow release nutes and watered my 3 plants. A little less than my fingertips could hold of the dry mix nutes. Mixture at PH 6.1.

Started LST to try and get them a little bit bushier. I FIMed the purple lemonade but won’t do the other two. Just testing how different methods affect yield and growth

So she was chopped (wet trimmed) yesterday (F74) and is now hanging up to dry at 55% RH and temps between 15 and 18ºc. I made fresh frozen dry ice hash today using a 160 micron bubble bag, a flat surface, 8kg of dry ice and a couple 5 gal buckets. I already have the weights for that, which far exceeded my expectations. Those figures I will post once she is dried and in 1 quart screw top glass jars. People suppose dry ice hash is inferior quality vs bubble hash. I am not experienced enough to comment on that but must say it is extremely easy to make hash with dry ice, it took 40 mins to process 995g of trim which included sugar leaves, some stems and popcorn buds. I then pressed it into 3.5g briquettes for storage using a pollen press. As you can see from videos, this stuff is all blonde - and after already trying some today with some friends, it knocked our boots off! Will be back in 5-7 days with harvest figures, smoke analysis and other details! Happy growing all! P.s I ticked defoliation this week - the only week I intentionally cut any leaves off for the entire grow 😉

Pheno #1 is getting fatter and fatter by the day although she is starting to fade out a bit. It’s a shame I had to tie her down because I swear her main cola would have been a foot long 😂She is also sensitive to light and has received slight amounts of burn and bleaching. She is the largest of the three but she has the least amount of resin and terpenes which is a bit unfortunate... She smells earthy, no banana scent or fruit terps like pheno #2. I still have about another 4+ weeks to go so that could easily change but we will see. I will try to be optimistic! Pheno #2 is a frost monster. She is completely covered in resin and trichromes. Her smell is out of this world, definitely has that banana fruity type smell. I don’t think I have smelt another strain quite like this so I’m very excited to see how she continues develop. Pheno #3 is a bit funky. She is stretching and getting bushier but she is extremely slow to flower. She has tons of shoots and bud sites. Almost every popcorn type branch at the very bottom raced to the top of the canopy. I feel like she hasn’t changed in the past couple weeks but maybe that’s just me being impatient. She is developing some interesting deficiencies but only on a couple leaves here and there. She is also somewhat lackluster compared to the other two. In my opinion she is a little dull looking... It’s odd to see how all three pheno’s are expressing different traits regardless of being grown in identical substrates with identical feeding schedules. It’s hard to say if it’s the genetics, substrate or the nutrients but I have a strong feeling it has more to do with the medium not being properly balanced. I normally would never grow with such a light substrate but DP grew theirs in a similar medium so I thought for the first time around I’d try to grow similar to their style. Next round I’m definitely going to switch it up and use the NFG or a custom soil blend I’ve been developing for auto flowers. It should be nice to see how a commercial soil compares to a homemade organic soil tailored for auto flowers. I’ll most likely run that experiment within a month or so once I get my new grow space setup. This week I’m going to lay off the nutrients and feed with some compost teas and microbes instead. In the video you can see my smaller brewing bucket. This is a mini-Microbulator along with an air stone. This allows for maximum dissolved oxygen saturation and also helps with preventing anaerobic spots in the brew. Set up a new space for future grows. So now we’re in the first week of flowering, and I’m really happy with how things are going. The plants are constantly putting on more leaf mass, so I have to prune them every few days to remove the light-stealers and the small shoots that keep popping up. They take it all in stride and reward me by stretching nicely. 😄 The lights are now running at 60% power. My goal is to reach 80–90% during flowering weeks 5–6, and then gradually dial them back again for a nice fade. A very kind person sent me a few very special treats, so I already have some of the ingredients for the next run ready to go. But more on that once this one starts winding down. 😉

Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.
