Finally!

So Ill start by talking about her smell. Maria has been super super low key in that so far my room has not stank of weed super badly. My room was fresh and had a herby comforting lining, but no blue-cheese-skunk-on-the-loose type scenario. But when you frisked up Maria, a persons nostrils might describe it something like ...walking through a mystical forrest eating your favourite candy, after you've just blessed a fat one with Bob Marley.. its a feeling not a smell. But if you were to describe it, its like a summer fucking cocktail' bish. She has also started to show some red hairs, Id say about 1/3 of her hair is ginger at this point. I think a point to note is that she has been drinking a lot more water (About 3l water every 3 days) as she's bulked up and started to shine. Im super happy with the grow so far; Ive made mistakes, and not all circumstances have been ideal. BUT, its been such a rewarding experience so far and I'm also glad I got to start with fucking dank genetics from Dinafem. You guys are fuckin' super stars. Ive been supplementing her with some LOVE. I can not get over how beautiful it is?! Cannabis is just so mystical? Being my first grow I'd still never got to see a late flowering cannabis plant in my life! I grew up in Dubai where Cannabis is hecticly-illegal, and lived in cities thereafter most my life. Maria is like a child who I will later kill in her sleep before she wakes up and hang upside down in my cupboard to dry out. But I truly love this plant.

So the girls are maturing up now and getting thicker still. No much to do other than wait for the trichomes to tell me they are finished.. so far seeing all milky white, but would like at least 30% Amber in there. Flush times in RDWC will only take 2-3 Days max so not so concerned about that, a res change with Reverse Osmosis water is what ill do closer to harvest for the cleanest meds. Smelling really strong and gas like with the first pheno and the second pheno is more sweet/candy like with subtle hints of gas. Can't wait to try it but for now the process can't be rushed. She is looking really thick in places as ypu can see from the day 68 photo, thats actually a 'lower' bud. Nice a frosty and smells soo dank, i open the tent and without touching anything i come out and smell so loud like I have rolled in the garden 😅 (Serious). Cant wait to.get her chopped bjt sticking to the 70 days at least. Will be back very shortly with another update. Day 69/70 - Decided to upload a night video, i did try to upload a video previously for the week gone.. but for some reason the growdiaries platform wouldn't allow it.. i always upload high quality videos/pictures otherwise whats the point. Sort it out GD. But anyway back to the garden, judging by day 70, the bigger plant pheno definitely seems done but the other pheno serms it could go a little longer. Ultimately I'm waiting to get the trichome ratio how I want it as thats the true sign of when she's done. She's faded a really nice purple, black. So I know she's close. The end is near people.. Que hay familia, vamos con la primera semana de floración de estas Apple Fritter de Zamnesia. La temperatura está entre los 21/24 grados, la humedad está entorno al 55%, y el ph lo mantengo ahora al principio en 6.2, el foco por supuesto está enchufado 12 horas , tener tienen que crecer fuertes. Y aparte añadimos nutrientes de Agrobeta, que no puede faltar semejante gama. Trasplante a 7 litros definitivamente, las puntas amarillas desaparecieron, la carencia de nitrógeno fue solventada. Todo correcto hasta ahora, ya cara a la floración veremos cómo avanzan las próximas semanas. Day 56. She has begun to swell. She has gotten a sweet skunky smell now. I may have had my Blurpie too close as the cola has started to foxtail. I kept the light at about 16 inches from the plant so I don't know if it is the combination of lights, or if she was gonna foxtail to begin with. Her branches are starting to sag, and I may have to stake a couple before it's through. I accidently cracked a branch when I was trying to pull two colas away from each other. I used surgical tape, and honey to repair it. The branch just pulled away from the stalk, and maybe separated a third of the way around the branch. She seems to have healed, and the branch hasn't shown any signs of trouble. If I had to guess, she may go 12 weeks, but she might be closer to 10. I got no idea yet... Happy farming!

Well it seems like I have amnesia already with how quickly this one grew and finished, haha. I did a check with the 100x microscope and trichomes are beginning to turn translucent/milky with no amber at all. I noticed this, trimmed up some more fading leaves and got her ready for flush since I had used Beastie Bloomz and Overdrive late in the flowering phase. I need to do some more research on organic alternatives for boosters and be prepared for next time. Usually with a fully organic system there is no need for a flush because of the active rhizosphere and the breakdown of organic substances. I removed the lid containing the net pot, roots and screen that they grew through and had my girl slide a shallow tote underneath. I left an air line/stone with the roots and filled 2 gallons of RO with Clearex which is a commercial flushing agent, mostly composed of citric acid as well as a half of a tsp of Microbes in each gallon. Planning on leaving her like this for a couple days, continuously flushing by the day, pouring from the top of the net pot to fill.

Flush Harvest in 1-2 weeks

Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Pour cette semaine je prévoit de pratiquer comme technique spéciale le LST et juste un arrosage. Pour cela comme à mon habitude j'attend le cinquième noeud ou que je juge la plante robuste. Je profite que cette semaine qui va être relativement calme pour faire un LST appliqué et vous faire un rappel de ce qui est pour moi la meilleure technique pour arroser une autofloraison et la façon dont je pratique le LST. En suivant ces quelques simples conseils vous obtiendrez un résultat optimal tout au long de votre culture : Le cannabis est une plante qui n’aime pas recevoir un léger arrosage en continu. Il est impératif de l’arroser en grosse quantité, puis d’attendre que la terre soit bien sèche avant d’arroser à nouveau! Pour calculer la quantité d’eau nécessaire à chaque plante, suivez cette règle : Le volume d’eau à donner lors de chaque arrosage doit représenter au moins environ un quart du volume du pot !! Exemples : pour un pot d’1L, donnez 0,25L d’eau à chaque arrosage pour un pot de 4L, donnez 1L d’eau à chaque arrosage pour un pot de 12L, donnez 3L d’eau à chaque arrosage pour un pot de 30L, donnez 7,5L d’eau à chaque arrosage !etc… Pour donner un tel volume d’eau, il est souvent nécessaire d’arroser en deux (voir trois) fois, lentement et uniformément sur toute la surface. Disposez de bonnes coupelles sous les pots, celles ci se rempliront d’eau qui remontera dans le pot par capillarité en moins d’une journée. Il est également très important d’utiliser un bon terreau de qualité, avec une bonne capacité de rétention d’eau mais qui assure également un bon drainage (celui ci doit contenir de la perlite, et/ou de la coco, etc..) Il vous faut alors maintenant attendre quelques jours en sous-pesant régulièrement les pot avec vos bras. Quand ils seront redevenus très légers, vous pourrez arroser à nouveau !! En effet, comme l’eau pèse beaucoup plus lourd que la terre, un pot gorgé d’eau pèse plusieurs fois le poids d’un pot d’une plante prête à être arrosée. Avec un peu d’entraînement, vous apprendrez donc très rapidement à sous-peser vos pots pour savoir quand une plante a soif. C’est une technique à la fois très facile et très efficace, et qui peut être appliquée à toutes les plantes en pots ! En arrosant de cette façon, en général vous devrez arroser vos plantes tous les 3 à 6 jours. Pour cette semaine 3 au jour 17 ma plante fais 12 centimètres et son cinquième noeud apparaît je décide donc de pratiquer un LST sur ma plante. Pour ce j'utilise du fil de fer galvanisé que je plante directement dans le substrat en faisant attention de ne pas endommagé les racines car n'oublions pas que ce qui pousse dessus pousse aussi dessous. Jour 17 je pulvérise du une solution composé d'une cuillère à café de savon noir mou dilué dans un litre d'eau en prévention d'éventuels nuisibles. Je corrige mon LST suivant la pousse de ma plante ... Pour ma par c'est la manière dont je procède. Comme promis petit rapel de: Quand commencer à appliquer la technique LST De nombreux cultivateurs commencent la manipulation dés que les plantes possèdent entre 3 et 6 nœuds ou une paire de feuilles. Durant cette première étape de la croissance, le tronc encore flexible est pliable sans risque qu’il ne se casse, même si au fur et à mesure du développement de la plante il sera de plus en plus difficile de le plier. Nous pouvons continuer à guider la croissance des branches durant toute la culture, même durant la floraison, ce qui pour cette étape représente un grand avantage face à la taille, qui n’est pas du tout recommandé une fois que la formation des têtes commence, cela stressera en effet la plante, ce qui aura pour effet de retarder la récolte. Comment appliquer la technique de guidage LST Si nous sommes prudents, la flexibilité naturelle des fibres du cannabis permet de plier leur tronc et branches avec une relative facilitée, même durant la floraison des plantes. En utilisant une corde fine, nous pouvons accrocher la pointe de la plante à la base du pot par exemple ou à un tuteur que nous aurons planté dans le substrat. Nous plierons le tronc avec précaution et nous le fixerons avec la corde, à partir de là, nous pouvons augmenter progressivement la tension de la corde, chaque jour un peu plus, jusqu’à obtenir la position souhaitée. Soyez attentif à la réaction de la plante, essayez de ne pas appliquer trop de pression sur la corde et rappelez-vous que la flexibilité des branches peut varier d’une plante à l’autre. Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, il suffit de suivre quelques règles simples. Pour commencer, nous devons choisir une corde fine mais pas trop pour ne pas blesser les troncs au fur et à mesure qu’ils grandissent et qu’ils deviennent plus gros. Nous pouvons utiliser des crochets en plastique souple ou de n’importe quelle autre matière flexible pour éviter d’endommager les plantes. Spécialement en intérieur, utiliser des cordons en plastique de couleur (voir les diaries de @Silky) est très pratique pour voir facilement les accroches et faciliter le travail au milieu du réseau formés par les cordes, les tuteurs, les mailles ou les supports que nous aurons dans la culture. Bien entendu, en culture extérieure et surtout en guerilla nous ferons juste le contraire et nous utiliserons des matériaux de couleur qui n’attirent pas l’attention pour que notre jardin reste discret. Pour stresser les plantes au minimum, la mieux est de réaliser ces manipulations le soir ou juste après que les lampes en intérieur s’éteignent, ce qui leur permettra de se remettre durant la nuit. Normalement, le jour suivant nous pourrons observer comme les pointes des branches que nous avons pliées se dressent de nouveau vers le haut à la recherche d’une source de lumière. The leaves on my plants are starting to fold up like a taco, some yellowing.. Not too sure what is going on. My friend suggested that it was a calcium or magnesium deficiency and it matches the description online but I usually give 3 or 4 ml per gallon damn near every time i water, is that enough or too much even? They are 5 weeks from seed today and all 3 are flowing very different and at a different pace..
