Corrected a few minor issues and she seems to be getting on well now. Hopefully i should see some steady and quick growth few minor problems at the start with light leaks causing algae but quickly rectified. Roots are looking healthy and are reaching through to the water. Back with an update soon. Day 26 - well on her way now, growth occuring everyday, currently at 1.32 EC and around 6.1 pH. Roots have exploded since two days ago. If i kerp this going garvest time will be the best ive ever had and ive had some good harvests in soil/coco. But yeah, very please so far. Updaye soon Day 27 - Dropped the EC slightly down to 1.28 as she was looking a bit toxic, pH seems more stable now but might lower the EC again slightly. Ill see how it goes for now.

March 28th: She's still standing. I tried to take some trichome shots, but i'm not sure how well they are. It's my first shot at it, so cut me some slack! I gave about two gallons of water this week. I'm not sure if she's still drinking a lot, or if the pot getting dry faster is due to a few degree increase in temperature. All of the water was straight well water, not pH'ed. Which reminds me: pH of water doesn't matter when using living soil. The pH of the Soil is what matters. pH in hydroponics makes sense because the water is where your plants will pick up nourishment. The medium for hydro IS the water, which means your water needs proper pH. In soil, the pH is due to all the calcium, magnesium, micro and macro nutrients and minerals that are in it. That will create a pH in your soil. Now, you can also get a high pH in your soil due to sodium build-up. This isn't what you're looking for, as sodium build-up in soil is a no-no. Now, for the fun fact: If you have a low pH in your soil because you don't have enough calcium, pH'ing your water isn't going to do anything. You gotta fix the soil problem, which will correct the pH of the soil, and trying to use pH'ed water isn't the solution. You'd have to add more calcium to your soil to fix it. Anyway. Light intensity is still at 100%. As you can see, i've got some floppy branches on this cultivar. I gotta admit, i love when branches start floppin' around. It tells me that the plant is close to harvest! Just gotta wait on those trichomes to get a few more amber, then she'll be ready to chop. She's still only showing fade ever so slightly. The purple hue is nice, but i wish it would become a bit more pronounced. Maybe it will over the next few days. EDIT: Edited to add a picture of the full plant and a video that didn't upload when i made this week's entry.

Howdy Hou. Let it dehydrate pretty good and it bounced back nicely. Timelapse is 24h from watering it. 1.1ec 6.4hp Now problems should be gone. Pretty sure this wasnt last time to overwater and try to survive from there. Seems to me that i have to weight pots before planting so i can measure when to water it again. Must be idiot proof plan for me. Lets get back to budiness when something happens.

Weekly update, sorry for being a little late. I was out of town the passed week. Wow is it wild to come back and see them after being gone. The smell, look, amd beyond sticky is amazing. I chopped half as they're ready, the other half will come down in the next couple of days. All in all happy growing.

All of the plants have responded really well to LST using bends and ties, especially the Zkittlez auto, the tangie matic is also very vigorous and hungry. The rhino ryders seem to not like a lot of food so I’m going to reduce their daily intake somewhat.

Day 25 of 4th week of Flowering Plants coming along nicely and seem happy with their environment. The smell is still really low as the room is vented 24/7 and this strain doesn't stretch much making it ideal for indoor cultivation, Although the strain does prefer a "Mediterranean climate" Meaning I'm having to run a 1.5 kw heater!

📌 Disclaimer / Timeline clarification Before we begin, a quick note for transparency: Last week, while compiling the reports, I unintentionally included some photos that actually belong to this week. That one’s on me. It’s fairly easy to notice which photos those are, and to avoid duplicating files, I’ll keep the correct visuals where they are while continuing to share this week’s genetics shots and videos as intended. Thank you for the understanding — clarity and honesty always come first here 🙏 🌬️ Week 4 Veg — Sour Diesel Quick recap (how we got here) This Sour Diesel has moved through veg without interruptions or stress. From early establishment to now, the focus has been consistency: stable environment, balanced nutrition, and no unnecessary interventions. No setbacks. No corrections. Just steady development and strong genetic expression beginning to show. Anyone joining us now is seeing her at a point where the foundation is already built. ⸻ 🌡️ Room Conditions & Environment Conditions remain identical and stable, exactly as intended for mid-vegetative growth: • Temperature: 25.7 °C • Relative Humidity: 60% • Airflow: constant and gentle • VPD: comfortably in range for veg This environment allows Sour Diesel to: • transpire efficiently • maintain lush coloration • build internal momentum without stress ⸻ 💡 Lighting (Week 4 Veg) • LEDs: running at 90% • Lighting source: top lighting only • Under-canopy lighting: not active yet (planned for flower) She’s growing into the light, not being pushed by it. We’re monitoring PPFD across the canopy using the TrolMaster PAR sensor, walking the room to understand distribution — not to chase numbers, but to stay informed. No adjustments are being made. Observation only. ⸻ 🌱 Nutrition Program Same trusted, balanced approach: • Plagron Terra Grow — vegetative base nutrition • Power Roots — strong, expansive root system • Pure Zym — enzymatic support and cleaner substrate • Sugar Royal — metabolic and microbial encouragement • Vita Race — foliar vitality and micronutrients The response is clear: lush green growth, expressive leaves, and relaxed posture. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Observations • Color: rich, healthy green • Vigor: calm but confident • Growth rate: steady, as expected for Week 4 veg • Structure: quietly stacking potential She’s a lush plant, no other way to say it. Balanced, beautiful, and clearly comfortable in her environment. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and What Not to Expect) Expect: • noticeable acceleration soon • tighter internodal spacing • increased nutrient demand as root mass peaks Don’t expect: • explosive stretch just yet • dramatic visual changes this • the need for interventions or corrections This is the calm before the surge — the moment where Sour Diesel gathers herself before showing her true pace. ⸻ Closing Notes Week 4 veg is about trusting the process. Sour Diesel is exactly where she should be — healthy, lush, and preparing for the next chapter. Community Note Due to YouTube community guidelines, our educational channel was taken down. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity
