So only after two weeks of curing these buds are becoming more and more refined! The texture of the buds is beautiful, it crumbles and grinds up effortlessly in my space case and is light, fluffy and almost “goopy” coming out of the grinder. I guess goopy is my description of ground bud that sticks together as it comes out of the grinder. It almost resembles goo or putty! That’s always a great indicator of a strain that has lots of sticky dank trichomes 😎 Now onto the high... I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first. I was initially caught off guard by how smooth the smoke went down, but usually after the first hit I feel something. After the first hit of this strain I didn’t, so I packed another bowl and sparked her up... not much different. Around 15min after my second hit I started to gradually feel a trippy/tingly full body buzz and strong head buzz come on. Once I sat down on the couch it’s like it fully kicked in and I really felt a truly euphoric full body high along with a head high that felt incredible. She’s definitely what some would call a “creeper strain”! To me though, the high is reminiscent of the first hour after ingestion of some top quality cubensis! In a nutshell the high is euphoric, energetic and crisp. I don’t feel groggy at all when I smoke this strain, I can be extremely productive with work and still articulate my thoughts with ease. I also noticed that I don’t get anxious in public and even though this strain is extremely uplifting and energetic I have zero issues getting to sleep at night. I could truly classify this strain as medicinal and I know if I was still a caregiver this would be on constant rotation! I will update more after 2.5-3.0 months cure!

Another week has passed. An eventful week in our lives, but the plants came back on track. Some regular water and defoliating made them happy again. I see lots of similarities between the two strains. Where the XL Runtz ae a true XL and sees to adapt a little better to the conditions than the Forbidden Runtz. But the fight isn't over yet. We still have weeks to go and the forbidden Runtz might recover, my two cents is this: Fastbuds are just a little bit less heat resistant and temps went up last weeks with the SP -3000 on high. Also the XL Runz are closer to the intake of cooler air. So it would be fair to trade places what I do coming week. Thanks again, see you next week!

Easy going week. nothing much to report. The EC pen I got is acting weird already. sometimes I'll put it in the feeding liquid and it will display 400ppm something. Then if I move it about or drip it in and out it will jump up to 700ppm something. I doing it over and over till I get a base line and go from that. this weeks EC was aorund 680ppm but the video does not show the other dips I did. PH still kicking aorund 5.9. I find it more annoying to adjust just the waters PH for these plants on the balcony where everything else is "as is" Will try this again indoors in a peat and perlite medium void of any other additives when It can have more of my undivided attention. maybe on the other seeds I got from FB via a friend in the mail. Side note uploading videos into the diaries is great and all, but takes to long to resize and process, can't hit save till its all done... no idea what its doing in the backend. stupid rule on contest must have videos every week,

Growing like weeds. Nutrients in the water has certainly helped. Had a problem with the spray valves getting clogged. cleaned them out and installed an inline filter to prevent debris from getting pumped into the system.

She was transplanted into her final home (18 gallon), we added extra EWC to her new Promix..she's still having some nutrient uptake issues (definitely getting enough to eat)..we decided to drop her PH to 5.0 to see if this helps and we decided to hold off on flowering her until her color looks a little better... we gave a small dose of bloom, we like to do this 1-2 weeks before the start of flower with all our plants.. thanks for reading, happy growing 😻

Flowering progresses and buds site are expanding. Did minor defoliation to allow more airflow through the middle of plants and allow light to penetrate all the buds. Slow and steady week

Day 58 : She is fattening her buds also with a slower rhythms. CO2 stopped for all ladies. As you can see trichomes still are in cloudy period. So she needs couple weeks for sure. Edit (Day 62) : I watered again with nutrients. She is very stinky lady. She has a smell that reminds be bubble gum, so lovely. One of favorite tastes in bud.

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . i was using bottle water since the firat day but dint realise that the water was filtered (probably) and had only 7mg/l of calcium ,mag and iron. Instead of buying cal +mag (which i will buy for my next grow) i checked other brands of bottles water and found Evian that has 80 mg/l calcium ,25mg/l mag (i know its not worth it but i was feeling safer to use "bottle" water at the begining because it was also phd at 6.5) so my question now is : plant had a cal+mag def . Considering that before i was giving it only 7mg/l of cal+mag now that im giving it 80mg/l of calc and Around 40-50mg/l magnesium just by changing water brand also 4 ml of alg a mic that has cal+mag + molasses that iv started this week 1(tablespoon has around 100mg of calcium) .Do you think it will be enought to fill the needs of the plant? As i said buds are still growing normally and plant has another 14-17 days to still fatten the buds :) Today if seen some orange hairs on them . thank you thank you.

Seeing a lot of changes since I’ve started the LST. Most of the plants are doing good exept for one that seems to be having a hard time. I will also be adding an xl exhale co2 bag.

grew well despite some kind of immobile nutrient deficiency in the growth cycle. yield is good. Responds very well to some LST. My experience with this strain suggests a longer curing time to temper the unique sweetness of this strain.

Week 25 Day 1 Flushing Week 25 Day 4 plant 1/2 for 48h in the darkroom and then hung up

I have a new light with a bloom setting hopefully that will make a nice flowering. Got a new fan for air circulation. The new light has cooling fans. Haven't noticed any burns so im happy with my order. If you look at the last few pictures my tent is home made and cheap very cheap. The lights not an expensive one but I think its fine for now.
