this week is doing fine watching them grow after last week F.I.M and topping they look healthy and are recovering from past root rot problem for me calcium hypochlorite and blanking the bucket with thermal reflective material saved my grow and after all im not adding more chlorine than regular tap water since im using reverse osmosis keep your roots healthy and is basically the same as UC roots

Welcome to my Slurircane Diary sponsored by MSNL & Spider-Farmer Week 7, early flip and attempt at reveg into early week 8 but decided I liked the look of her cola potential and decided to throw her into flowering. From the reveg attempt I thought a ratio on/off would be best if it leaned more on the off, so a 13-11 off / on was set for early week 8 and till fattening (when the stretch is over, 'pre flower) This is a bit of a weird one for me, well more a 1st. I'm not 100% sure. But I do remember this getting 3 13.5hr days as did my whole tent. As my cheap timer ran for an extra hrs off when it was meant to be on. So, put it into a flip. And I tried for over a week to reveg, I'm sure if I pushed on. I would of gotten to reveg. (I'm not sure how long it takes, am very pleased though with this spectrum even without the IR that the flip time is quick. So, after a week 7 was finished. I decided to push on to a 13-11 off/on to induce her. I'll increase it to 13-11 on/off in fattening. Sadly has the pre flip and then attempt at reveg make all her nodes very stiff. And near to LST. After pre flower I'll hard defol and attemp to distance the colas. Surprisingly with her been a dom indica her leafs are very Stavia style. Very thin. Would make an ideal candidate for scrog. She is very healthy and been the most responsive with co2/heat. Although growth was stalled from my reveg attempt, I'm sure i cut a good few CM from her Height by reversing it again. I should of looked up how long it takes to reveg 1st. Lessons learnt. I still have an amazing pheno. (I'm a few weeks ahead in Real Time) Defoliation So, this was done lots on this girl. As my plans for her were changed due to poor attention. So, start of wk 7, what I thought was still a few weeks out from me flipping. But, after my abandoned attempt of reveggin. She was in limbo and I decided to risk it with a hard defoliation. (Looks like it was done in pre flower, it wasn't, It was just coming back into veg, but would of taken weeks to get it growing fully again, and at looking I'm happy with it so I pushed again with my Defol to get colas. You can find this on grow weed easy "full tutorial for flowering") am gonna leave her now until she's out of pre flower, she's 35cm or so tall. I don't see putting on much height. As my reveg attempt will for sure hanmer her stretch. Diet Was planning on taking Alga Grow off for the last 10 days r so off grow. So, I only had a few days off it, and its on Alga Bloom now. I’ve got some curling going on. Have been trying to get temp humidity stable so I got a humidity controller and now run lights on timer 6 hrs off. Also my humidity gauge I used to set in the middle of the tent but I now put directly in the pot behind the plant and different readings. It’s one of those cheap humidity temp gauges that comes with led lights. Just need to get this curling thing down. 1 of the plants shows no curl so maybe it’s the fox farm soil is too hot. Or maybe that 1plant got better plant coverage, I’ve since adjusted the fan and may get another one.

This week wasn't as bad as last week 😊 Nights were cold 😰, but not to much rain 😿 and a few hours of sun 😍 Temperatures in the greenhouse were medium : during the day 20°C 💀; min temp 3.5°C ; max temp 31,7°C 😤 Cookies Gelato has turned completely purple 👍👍👍 I defoliated the plants 😙 and had to remove budrot (especially in the Cookies Gelatoes)😨 I took the prettiest Cookies Gelato outside for a photo session in my garden 😍 Probably these will be the last pictures of the plans, before harvesting ! 👍😄

Day 132 It's been much cooler this week, and the plants are using much less water. I'm wondering whether to harvest it on Tuesday or wait another week. A little rain is forecast, but it should be very light. I thought the buds would get bigger, but that's not happening. The buds are really loaded with big trichomes. Otherwise, I've defoliated to allow the smaller, lower buds to grow bigger.

DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. Last week of vegetative, I start the change of light cycle so it goes into flowering.

After a rough overwatering, i defoliated a ton of curled leaves, she is currently still recovering (defol and over water 2/3 days ago) Honestly though... The smell is something else, super pungent gym socks + mangoey ferment + hash Pistils starting to brown out so im guessing maybe 1/2 weeks from now til finish!

So my 5 plants have been split up. My first two chopped are now curing up. Preparing to chop the rest. Smells like nothing or gassy. Don’t overshock your plants people! 7 days of drying and stems were snapping. 3 in the pink isn’t quite ready yet.
