What's up guys? One of the girls are moving close to the end, so i think the next week Crticial+ will be Ripen. As for California Hash Plant i am used the previous week tea(with 2.6 of bloom) to add an extra week on flowering as well. Closer to harvest 😋

Last week of actual veg! I plan to stick to the same old lighting and watering schedule this week but am gonna experiment with a foliar feed of the potassium humates to see how she likes it. I figure it's better to test things like that now than in flowering. She's beginning to develop something between the nodes, though it's still too early to tell for sure if she's a girl. (It was a feminized seed so I certainly HOPE so!) This plant has given me absolutely zero problems despite being in the most maligned soil under a weak-ass CFL bulb AND transplanted, which is supposed to be a no-no for autos. It def looks unmistakably like pot now lol so I've gotta figure out where to hide it should the landlord come in. (Legal state, illegal building). Hoping this Ona Pro Gel will be sufficient to offset the stench once she starts reeking. 😁 So my 1st attempt with the humates was a fail. I for some reason thought the pH was too high so I sprayed some white vinegar into the mix to bring it down, which it did. But then I read that you're NOT supposed to mix the two, plus I'd possibly made the solution way too strong by using online "recipes" vs. what the package said: 1 tsp per gallon water. YIKES. I'd used 0.7 grams in 2 liters the 1st time. 🤦🏻‍ Thankfully I only sprayed that mix on the two bottom leaves before realizing what I'd done, so I sopped it up, poured out the rest and made a more dilute mixture without the vinegar this time. I used my little 8 Fl. oz spray bottle to mist the plant from a healthy distance before her brief dark period, which is where she's at now. Did a 2nd foliar feed the following day and she's looking just dandy! (Aside from the twisty taco leaves at the top lol). After watering, she was incredibly bloated with leaves curling downward in that tell-tale "over watered" claw. How this is possible when I water only 1x every 7 days, grow in a fabric pot, keep fans on her at all times and am using moisture control soil is beyond me, but it would appear this plant HATES water. The soil was bone dry when I watered & I even pH'ed the water this time before giving her a drink.... no luck. Oh, and the H2O is room temperature every time. Same 16.9 FL oz. purified drinking water as last time... After some reading it looks like this strain is just highly finicky and somewhat harder to grow than other autos, though most people ended up happy with the results. This also explains why she's so tall with so few leaves/branches: they say Zkittlez Auto stretches like crazy. I'm gonna try to stop obsessing now. I added a 2nd CFL bulb (yellow) to see if it boosted her growth any, and sure enough, I got some noticeable and rapid change in her appearance after only one night. So that was a good thing. Next week will be when I switch to 20/4 light schedule and try a soil feed of the Potassium Humates with her once-weekly watering lol. Stay tuned. Final update for the week: I put pipe cleaners on the ends of her big branches to help open up the bud sites. It's too late for actual LST, plus she's so sensitive I doubt she'd like it. Don't wanna waste 1-3 days recovering from that. But I'll probably lop off 2, if not 4, leaves early next week. (1-2 sets total). She's not leafy enough to "leaf tuck" as planned but some of those bottom ones are def redundant.

Still looking fair. I'm waiting for the fourth node before I top it the first time. Day 13 the fourth node was out yesterday so I topped it for the first time to begin mainlining. Transplanting into the final container (7 gallon fabric pot) to continue indoor growth until it's warm enough to send it outdoors

Here we are again, after hot summer ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic and now we present them to you. The first lady we present to you is the Blue Cheese F1 Auto, I asked the Zamnesia elves to send me these seeds because I loved this strain so much in the past. I remember well when it came out on a trip to Amsterdam we went crazy. And I remember well when a dear friend of mine used it with phenomenal results. This strain has a background in me. Great fruity flavors very intense I remember. Let's see what comes out. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of right advisors, I chose to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. Preparation Phase Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). Phase 1 - Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the soil 90% normally. Phase 2 - Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper in water, no. Phase 3 - In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose those with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. Phase 4 - The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Be careful not to exceed the first week at least with photoperiodic plants. — Umidity 70% - 75% — % of germination - In water 20/20 seeds have opened for good luck I'm waiting to talk when they come out of the soil but it seems that we are going towards an excellent percentage of germination..."Not too bad"... — The soil used is entirely organic in its entirety and is Plagron Promix which will be used with the 100% organic pack that you can find on Zamnesia https://www.zamnesia.io/it/11457-plagron-easy-pack-natural.html If you were looking for a reliable, versatile and accessible strain, here it is. Blue Cheese F1 Automatic by Zamnesia Seeds uses F1 genetics to produce uniform, rewarding and easy-to-grow plants. This strain stays small, so you will have no problem finding a place to grow it. GMO Cookies — Week 8 From Seed (≈ Week 3 Flower — 12/12 From Seed) “Served with extra curiosity.” 🌱 Quick Recap (For Everyone Joining Now) These girls have been running 12/12 from seed from day one. No traditional vegetative phase. They decided their timing — we followed. This is not about chasing more harvests per year. It’s about efficiency, energy management, and less unnecessary labor. We are now at Week 8 from seed, which we consider early–mid flower transition (Week 3 flowering) based on pistil development and stacking behavior. ⸻ 🌡️ Room Conditions The room is looking strong and stable. • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~70% (slowly reducing) • PPFD: 800–1300 µmol/m²/s (varies per plant height) • Airflow: Heavy exchange + vortex + crosswinds Now let’s explain the why. We are prioritizing leaf VPD, not just room VPD. Because of strong airflow and active transpiration, we can run slightly higher humidity at this stage without creating microclimate issues. Big intake. Big exhaust. Vortex movement. Crosswind fans breaking boundary layers. This allows us to push intensity safely. And intensity is where the fun begins. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy We are not just running a top light. We are using: • Over-canopy lighting • Inner canopy lighting • Under-canopy lighting Why? Because photosynthesis doesn’t only happen at the top cola. Lower sites can remain productive if light penetrates and airflow supports them. Benefits: • More uniform energy distribution • Reduced larf • Better lower bud development • Higher nutrient demand (which we are seeing) This multi-angle light system is part of why we can push EC while still seeing substrate EC remain low. ⸻ Feeding & EC Strategy Current Irrigation EC: ~2.4 Substrate EC reading: ~0.9 That tells us something important: The girls are eating. When runoff/substrate EC remains low despite high input EC, it means uptake is strong and salts are not accumulating. The moment we see substrate EC climbing? We reduce feed EC immediately. End goal: Final week or so → likely water only. ⸻ Current Nutrient Recipe • CalMag Pro • Terra Bloom • Power Buds • Green Sensation • Pure Zym • Sugar Royal (No more Vita Race foliar for now.) ⸻ 🔬 Why We Switched Additives We moved from Power Roots → Power Buds + Green Sensation Power Buds • Encourages flower initiation • Supports generative growth • Helps hormonal shift into flowering mode Green Sensation • PK booster • Adds Magnesium & Iron • Supports enzyme systems & chlorophyll stability • Assists in energy transport during early bulking phase We are now in the stage where roots are established — focus shifts to flowers and energy management. ⸻ ⚗️ Order of Mixing (Chemistry Matters) This is important. 1. CalMag first Our water is very soft. We raise EC to ~0.7 using CalMag before adding anything else. Why? • Calcium stabilizes solution chemistry. • Prevents nutrient lockout. • Reduces risk of precipitation when adding PK later. • Supports cell wall strength during high transpiration. 2. Base nutrients (Terra Bloom) 3. Additives (Power Buds, Green Sensation, Pure Zym, Sugar Royal) Mixing order affects solubility and stability. This is not random. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Development Defoliation was done recently. Result? It looks like nothing happened. The canopy refilled quickly. Structure is strong. Stretch is controlled but active. Stacking is beginning. They are bigger than expected at this stage, to be honest. This is where things get interesting. ⸻ 🔬 Macro Season Begins We are entering the phase where microphotography becomes meaningful. Yes, it’s always interesting. But now: • Trichome stalks are forming. • Resin heads are developing. • Pistil clusters are stacking. • Leaf surface gland density increases. From this week forward, macro and focus stacking will become part of the reports. Not for hype. For documentation. ⸻ 🔮 What To Expect Next Week • Continued stacking • Slight humidity reduction • Possible EC adjustment depending on substrate readings • Increased resin production • Internodal swelling No drastic changes planned — just observation and precision. ⸻ 🤝 Appreciation Section Thank you to: • The long-time followers • The OGs • The critics • The silent readers • The new growers joining • The Grow Diaries platform • The sponsors • And everyone watching quietly This doesn’t happen because I’m alone in the garden. It happens because of community. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
