Plants are 5 weeks old and I decided to switch to flowering for week 6. Plants are all in good shape and the screen is in place to train them to fill the tent. I will be changing out the veg bulb this week and installing the 1000w HPS bulb for flowering. I’m still playing with the light rail speeds and pause times but I seem to have it dialled in now I think. I will also be doing another water change and adding flower nutrients sometime this week. ****Added 7 gal of fresh water to the reservoir on day 38. Added full strength Remo lineup for flowering to the 7 gal added to reservoir. I started to tie down/tuck the larger branches to the net as well.

The girls started to pre-flower on the 6th of June. They all have a slight smell when you rub the leaves. Kosher cake, Strawberry banana and the Forbidden runtz have a sweet smell to them. The Forbidden runtz reminds me of the smell of skywalker OG which is totally LUSH..!! The blackberry has more of an deep earthy smell with a slight bit of fruitiness. Super excited for the next few weeks with these ladies. Happy toking my peeps 😁

The Scrooge has really impressed me! Despite minimal training and almost hands-off approach on my part, the plant has turned out incredibly robust and beautiful! 🌿 So far, there's no sign of the minty aroma, but I'm looking forward to drying and curing to see how the flavors develop. 🍃 It's been a rewarding journey watching this plant grow, and I can't wait to enjoy the final product! 🌟 Overall, it's been a lesson in patience and observation, and I'm grateful for the experience. ✨ All the best to everyone! 🌿

Day 71👋🌱 I started flushing some days befor. I think I’ve got 20 days left but this lady eat a lot of feeding this last weeks so I give some more flushing. Buds looks full of all What they needs also if now they need to get fat and fat. :) let’s see what’s happen. Giving ph controlled water at 6.2/6.5, I check TDS to water owerflowing from pot, bringing it to 50ppm from 400. Today I’ll give another e 1 lt of water and Sunday I’ll do another flush. I think will go up to 90 days. Bud will get fatter and fatter🏆. Maybe I could have fertilise two times more, but anyway I’d not a big problem, I’ve been feeding them a lot since the beginning so a more long flush won’t be a problem at all. Coming home nicely the blackberry moon rock , I’ve been smoking a bit of this already and it’s absolutely delicious, sticky and packs a punch . I just love smoking fresh weed , picking a bit and tasting it as it matures . Life’s good on the moon.

#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training. Today is week 5 now since dropped in water to be honest I think these are growing slow compared to other peoples. I changed a couple of things like upped wattage of metal halide from 250 to 400 and started giving full strength nute from half strength which I should of give 3 quarter strength instead of full because I can see a slight tip burn so will back of a little. Water every day till run off. At some point this week I will top for the first time to get the main line thing up and going. See you next week peace.

At the end of week 5 the plant started to transition into flowering

This being my first time growing auto's, I didn't know what to expect. Out of the gates they grew rapidly, last week they seemed to slow a bit and started to flower. Plant #1 seems to be growing slightly faster than #2, but not by much. The SOG on each of these spans 18'' x 18''. I have trained these girls much more than I normally do, and am very happy I did so. I have looked around at other diary's that have ran these GSC and I am anxious to see what this week brings!
