The first taste revealed something unexpected beneath that aggression: Tropical fruit and gas. Sweetness first. Then the fuel arrives. The effect is heavy and unmistakable. The body settles. The mind slows. The couch begins to feel strangely welcoming. An indica-leaning, deeply relaxing experience that leaves little desire to wander far from wherever one happens to be sitting. Plant #2 — The Battered One And then came the second. Its aroma is different. More familiar. More classical. The unmistakable scent of cannabis rises first, but beneath it lies that persistent signature of gas and diesel that followed this plant from its earliest days. Hey hey everybody! We are back here this week at the beginning of week 13 and it is almost that time… time to flip? ….I wish…. No, no…. I am trying to be good but I think I came up with a plan that will give me a rough idea of when I will see that light at the end of the tunnel- or we’ll at least flip that light to 12/12 haha- No no it is almost Christmas and things have been crazy over here. With the holiday madness upon us, I can’t tell all of you how much I have appreciated the relative silence (you know how it is, there are multiple fans running) time seems to slow down and it just us and the plants. Quite enjoyable. So as you already know, we are going to be on coast until we fill out the rest of that 3x3 scrog net- however just today on my way into work, I came up with what might be my new definitive plan… I have had a bit of trouble waiting, no doubt it will be worth the wait, but the wait has been difficult none the less… so here it is.. Here’s what I’m thinking- I have this going and I also have some fastbuds growing in the same area. What I am most likely going to do- is wait until it’s time for the fastbuds to come down to open up some space in the 5x5 and the rock candy cake can have all that space to herself- I will shift the scrog into the center of the tent and then flip the light schedule to 12/12 and let it run wild- it’s at this point I will most likely employ a more hands off approach so it can focus all of its energy on producing buds worthy of such a wait. The canopy is getting pretty lush and I really need to get in there and defoliate- I really lucked out, today was the last day I had to work until after Christmas so you KNOW I will be in there tomorrow plucking away at leaves (strategically of course) half kidding I’m probably still a whirlwind compared to some, but I’ve noticed- especially when it comes to autos, that my leaf selection has become much more refined when defoliating. PROBABLY gonna see a BIT less of that tomorrow as I have to open up the canopy but I still plan on being careful. Something else that was super cool who may not be following along with the other journal, happened oddly enough just the other day when I was doing dishes- I was scrubbing away with my phone all propped up so I could watch/listen to dude grows. And I heard the dude mention a contest on their website that I had entered… of course my ears perked up, I leaned in a little closer to take a look and was thinking to myself how cool it would be, even to see my picture in the background and sure enough there it was and they brought it up and commented on the submission and seemed to be genuinely enthused by it and let me tell you I am STILL riding high off that one! One thing that was cool too was a rep at a nutrient company had seen that and congratulated me as well and it was again just so cool and I’m honored to have been on there! I listen to them practically everyday at work- yeah words are not doing it justice right now but I was stoked!!! Other than that, the holidays are practically upon us so I’d imagine it’ll be a whole lot of family activity with a side of unintentional neglect that I plan on keeping to an absolute minimum because we are right around the corner from some excitement in that tent- that thing is going to be HUGE! So we have that to look forward to! Grown 100% organic in 4g fabric pot by Gronest filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium amended with (my 'Secret Recipe): 2tbs/g of Down To Earth 4-4-4 / 2 cups/g of Earthworm Castings / 1tbs/g of Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1tbs/g of Dr. Earth Bat Guano, 3/4 cup of Down To Earth Azomite and 1 tsp/g Down To Earth Fish Bone Meal. 24hr light cycle during Germination / 19/5 light cycle for the remainder of the run under UnitFarm's UF-4000 and UFS3000 LED's which I have to say just blew me away with the results they gave!!! If you're on a budget and want a light that is about as low profile and cool running as they get you really need to check out UnitFarms lights. Believe me... I run a pair of HLG 650R's and a HLG 225 in my 4x8 so I'm no stranger to 'high end' lights but lemme tell ya, these two UnitFarm lights absolutely blowup my 4x4 and don't overheat the tent! She received straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and weekly Compost Tea's for the entire grow which is one of the beauty's of growing 100% organic, you establish a microbial colony in your medium, then feed the microbes every 3-4 weeks keeping them fat and happy... They, in turn, through their life processes take care of feeding the plant. Pretty freaking cool if I may say so, and there's no simpler way to grow IMHO. This Cali Snow's structure was perfect didn't require me to top or LST this plant, only tucking shade leaves that were blocking light penetration. She grew tall with wide node spacing allowing for excellent light penetration making her a growers dream, low maintenance, extremely tolerant of temperatures and disease/pests ) and a healthy yield of some FANTASTIC smoke...What more could you ask for? 😍💖 All in all, this strain has made it's way onto my 'list' and you'll be seeing it run again by me for sure as she's a hard one to stay away from! I highly recommend this one... Go grab some and put a huge smile on your face too! 😁

Posting from my work trip abroad. I took these just before I left and have a growmie refilling the humidifier. Based on the camera in the tent the temps are slightly high as the heatwave continues back home. But I guess that’s the best I could ask for. More details coming during the week 8 check in.

We're into the start of September and they've only just begin flowering. Hopefully they get to finish. It's looking to be mid to late October!

I love this light, Mars Hydro...why do you do this to me. Totally worth it, best lights on the planet, so far. 5/25 230am NEW DESIGN NIGHT. USB FANS -- Small usb fans at the end of ducting are effective intake air filters. HOWEVER the fans are cumbersome the wires are a pan in the as. design 2 part clip gravity 4 inch wire. twists thru fan . ONE tlong up the tube for balance other to CLIP on to duct. 3am clips are good new designs emerging. fasting all night so I can work and get new ideas. fans are a go, we have a new design using clips, no external wires. the load bearing usb wire is safe, not load bearing to the connections just the cable, its perfect.. Mexicans and jew & white trash cops and their arzonz fed family and judges have been committing unimaginable property and financial crimes against me. If I am suicided. it was them. Honestly— grow diaries screwed up big time here. I have two weeks of this diary completely missing after their update. I delete the pics so I can’t re update the lost weeks they deleted. This is week 8 and I chopped up this tester. Came out beautifully! Love the color. The density is on point, and the terps are pine cleaner. Harvest update next week. Big yield here!!!

Not a lot to report which isn’t evident from the pictures. I did build up the remaining three strains to the same height as the tallest they’re getting between about 750-1200 ppfd in the centre, which seems a lot but I am supplementing C02 and there’s no signs of light stress or burn or even foxtailing so I guess these girls can take it! They’re fattening up still, always hard to tell how dense the buds are but the Gorilla Zkittlez looks like it’s gonna be the heavy yielder and might just be a touch behind the others for development. The Peanut butter cookies is still getting fatter but seems the other end of the spectrum and may be ready to finish soon, although she’s still putting out new pistils, pretty purple now too. The Tahoe OG looks right in the middle, packing on a bit of bulk now and the bud structure looks really neat and tidy. Then finally the Runtz muffin, I carelessly snapped off a top bud when defoliating last week and dried it up and it’s 🔥 already so looking forward to this one maturing properly. I forgot to put that I’d been feeding molasses for the last few weeks, just to feed up the microbes and see if it’s of any benefit.

Massive PH swings are now levelling out. Using Organic Alaskan Bloom to lower the PH instead of the huge amount of PH Down it usually take. Needs less (about 5-10 ml) to lower the PH back to 5.7 from 6.4. BHB2 is more Sativa in appearance but is going to finish about 1-2 weeks ahead of BHB1 which is more indica like. (Appearances can be deceiving!). Have already flushed BHB2 for 24 hours with fresh RO water, replaced half with fresh then added GHE Bloom, Micro, CalMag, then the organics (Hygrozyme, Tarantula, Microbe Tea *Formula below.) Will do a final three day RO water flush when all the trichomes are cloudy (My fave harvest. More 'up') and about 10% amber. Am not worrying about PPM or EC at the moment. The microbes and organics are kind of messing with it. Had a potassium deficiency in BHB1. Treated with more GHE Bloom. Seems ok now. Growing & growing. Watering about every 4/5 days now. I believe I had some deficiencies in the amended soil so I added some calimagic to the mix. I felt I had some nutrient issues earlier in the week, so I used some epsom salt spray and it appeared to help a bit.

7/6: Heavy thunderstorms last night and half the day today, so they won't be ready to eat again for a few days. I went out to the site about an hour after it quit raining today and saw HUNDREDS of tiny little green grasshoppers feasting on my girls!!! I immediately sprayed them all down with pyrethrins, and did it again right before dark. I've got the fan blowing across the pots to try to dry them out faster. I started using TPS One (one part nute solution) the other day, and the plants seem to love it. Really growing well, but I'm glad I amended their soil with some happy frog fruit and flower granular fertilizer this time. They get fed whether it's too wet or not. 7/7: Sprayed for grasshoppers again this morning...hungry little fuckers...👺 It was a very cloudy day...but these girls are also just a couple of feet beneath 470w of 3000k LED's all day/every day, so it's always sunny.😎

Day 122 since seed touched soil. Girl is on final stretch, took all nutes out last watering. Today gave 6.3 phed water for last time, maybe if few other girls will show signs of bulking, ill do one more watering. Last week installed dehumidifier, so all environment is way better. Fat girl, created nice colas and still bulking ... Happy Growing !!!

Both girls are healthy and happy. Buds are solid although still a bit small. Today my Mars Hydro TSW2000 arrived and it's already unpacked and hung. I raised the light dustance to 45 cm. I also moved the cheapo 100w LED to 2 new FastBuds Zkittlz Auto seedlings. Wow, what a difference good lighting makes!! The Mars Hydro TSW2000 is well made, easy to install and bright-ass daylight LED!! I expect to see significant fattening of the buds over the next 2-3 weeks. Update: I swear the existing buds doubled in size within the last 24 hrs after switching out the light to the Mars Hydro. I'm excited to see how these 2 finish. 4/22 update: I'll be damned! The box from the new light (which is heavy, double wall corrugated) fell onto both plants...I heard snapping everywhere! Good ole electrical tape to the rescue!! These girls look wounded with all this black tape! It's several hours after bandaging and I see no wilting or noticable changes....keeping my fingers crossed! The videos show both plants pretty well recovered from the damage except the purple stems and veins. I have some cal/mag coming Monday.... hoping that will fix that issue. Both are loving this new light and continue to pack on the bud weight.
