Things are getting serious now!🔥 #2 has developed an insanely large main bud, absolutely packed with trichomes and giving off a super pungent aroma. 🌿 Meanwhile, #1 keeps stretching and is still the biggest plant in the tent. It continues to give off that stunning sweet, tropical scent, which is just unreal! Both plants seem to be moving fast—I have a feeling they might be ready in about two weeks. 🌸 Week 4 Flower – RollerCoaster Haze 🌸 The girls are now deep into flower, and they are nothing short of stunning. Both phenos are stretching tall, stacking sites beautifully, and building those early bud formations that promise something special. White hairs are everywhere, and the canopy is vibrant, full of life, and thriving. This week I cleaned the lowers again, focusing energy on the tops. The roots are still showing off their strength, breaking through the soil and proving how powerful this foundation is. You can really see how the balance of soil and feed is driving such healthy growth. 💧 Feeding Recipe (Aptus + Plagron) This week, the nutrition is a beautiful synergy between Aptus and Plagron lines, all dialed in at 1ml/L: • Aptus Regulator • CalMag Boost • Aptus All-in-One Liquid (light, occasional, as soil still has pellets) • Plagron Green Sensation • Plagron Sugar Royal • Plagron Power Buds Solution runs around pH 6.0–6.1, with EC balanced to keep the soil’s natural charge in mind. THIS NEW LIGHT IS UNBRANDED, WEIRD AND THE EBAY SELLER SOUNDS LIKE HES JUST DROP SHIPPING THEM AS THEY DONT SELL THE DAISY CHAIN BUT THIS THING LOOKS TO BE DOING A WAY BETTER THAN EXPECTED JOB AS LONG AS YOU GROW 2 PLANTS ONLY AND IN 3 GALLON POTS MAX. IM USING FOX FARM BIG BLOOM. I CAREFULLY STICK MY FINGER IN DIRT ABOUT AN INCH OR 2 TO DETERMINE IF NEEDS WATER. 4 CUPS OF WATER FROM MY WELL AND ABOUT EVERY 2 WEEKS I SPLASH AN EMERIL LEGASSI BAM OF BIG BLOOM. Slowly going into flower. I mean real slow lol. It's showed some pistills about a week ago and still you really have to look for them a week later. My veg lights are 5700k and are on 24/7. Guna let them stretch a bit more and flip to my flower light's 3500k and change time to 20/4 sometime this week

These funky mutants continue to surprise and amaze with their one-of-a-kind growth patterns. While the colder weather has introduced a few challenges, we’re adapting and thriving together. Let’s dive into the details! Environmental Updates: A Chill in the Air 🌬️ This week, temperatures in the grow room dipped to around 21-22°C, with relative humidity (RH) holding steady at 65%. While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. Had a bad humidity (spots on leave are wet spots that got handled ASAP) scare last week so got a dehumidifier up in there comfortably. Still smooth sailing.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. Not doing too bad. Seems to have settled now and stopped stretching, Smells pretty peppery, like a tangy pepper haha Start her on PK warrior next week see how she does. She's got the sumo booost foliar as well as root feed this week. All healthy though she's loving the shogun stuff 👌🏻

10/14-its clear these babes want to flower. HULK A,C, and D are doing fine/bouncing back from my error in week 5. HULK B seems to have been affected the most and is trying to recover. -Im not going to neut feed until the middle of the week depending on how the plants look! 10/15- Watered with Rhizotonic to aid the plants. 10/18- Plants are growing again! and looking happy! all is well. 10/20- Last day of the week but I decided it was time to feed. I started the first round of bloom feed. P.S sorry about the purple light in all my photos! I broke the zipper to my grow tent so taking them out is super hard! I will try and take better photos here on out!
