Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. What a successful experiment! People said you couldn't grow and flower good weed in an Aerogarden so I had to prove them wrong. When I first started this grow experiment I would have been happy with a quality oz of bud. I never imagined pulling more than 2 oz's from 1 gallon of soil and only 45 Watts of light. That's 1.4 grams per watt! Already have a second Aerogarden going. This time it's Bud Bud Bling-Tingz✨ Give it a look!

Day 21 of Flower 🌸 Girls looking real fire right now — stretch is finally done and the canopy has locked in. Big, chunky colas are stacking up and the tent smells absolutely crazy when I open the door (honest — forgot how sweet flower smell is after a few years off). Quick notes / vibes: Switched to 400W HPS + 300W LED (4k) for flower — you can see the HPS side blasting the fattest colas. The two plants that were smallest under the little LED pre-flip have blown right up under HPS and are now the tallest. Kush Crasher is showing beautiful dark colours from the cooler nights (~17°C). Some big fan leaves are almost black — gorgeous. I did some supercrop & last tucks earlier while there was still room; with the net full I’m mostly done training — one last clean tomorrow/the day after, then I’ll let them fatten out. Watering: still giving ~3 L per plant every 3–4 days — feeding organic BioBizz line + Top·Max, Green Sensation in the mix as needed. Environment: box is in a cold, damp garage so I have to switch the inline off at night to avoid freezing. Running a 150W cabinet heater and a small Peltier dehumidifier (not perfect but helps). Humidity still a fight (keep an eye on it) — big fan circulation 24/7 helps a lot. Plan next moves: 1. Final lollipop / net clean tomorrow — remove any junk under the canopy, open airflow. 2. Stop training after this last tidy; let buds fatten. 3. Keep watching trichomes from week 6 onward and stagger harvests as needed. 4. Push RH down as much as possible in late bloom Strains in this run : Wedding Cake (back-left), Kush Crasher (back-center), AK-47 (back-right), Double Krush (front-left), Wappa (front-center), Detroit Runtz (front-right) — 6 clones, planted 10/10. Last days, getting fat and frosty. Switching to 24 hr for the final few days before chop. Last water was on day 85. I feel like I could actually wait another week or 2 but want to have some Xmas gift for friends so that clock is ticking. Easily 10% amber trichs at the moment and will likely get more with full light and no water for the next couple of days. Harvest coming right up!

Last week of veg. And we are looking good. They have grown well above the net and have strong stems ready to take on a stretch and the growing of flower. My canopy is pretty even across the plants. I'm curious to see how this back one turns out because it has a genetic mutation (whorled phyllotaxy). Where each node has three branches that stem from it. These ladies next feeding will be with the bloom A-B and PK starting the third week of flower.

Now this side of the tent seems to be doing great. At first I thought it was the air circulation with the other side so I’m still digging into that. Either way this is about these two ladies and I see the forming of pistils and can’t wait to see what kind of stretch they get into in the upcoming weeks. As for the coco vs. the rockwool way I’ve done it in the past I’m leaning towards the rockwool way. It’s easier and thus far the plants I get from it are larger. It consumes about the same amount of water although less nutrients.

I didn’t do any lst, topping or stress training. I am using air pots with some vermiculite, a bit of worm compost mix from local store, and a dash of 20/20/20 when it was a seedling.

Missed last week so the measurements for their feeding was for 8 weeks this week they got PH water only 3 liters each. These girls are in their final stretch they will get one more feeding and then start the flush. They get fed or watered every 4 days as needed. Ultimate #3 which has been the dwarf since the beginning has wind burn from the fan had to readjust the fan and move the lights up so the other two don’t get fried. They are looking and smelling good and their buds are coming together nicely. As with the last batch of Ultimates they aren’t sticky yet they seem to wait to really develop that stickiness until just before harvest.
