Where flower? lol. Seriously though, I've been on a flowering light cycle for a week already now with zero signs of flower. I suppose it is quite similar to their mother, which also took quite some time to kick into flower while the days were shortening. Either way, we're luckily not in a situation of needing flower nor lacking space in the tent, so we can keep on keepin' on. Normally I would start to incorporate a low dose of bloom booster starting this week, however due to the lack of any flower formation whatsoever I'm going to hold off until next week. Updates as per usual, timelapse is out, Happy Growing all! -10/2- Finally noticing some bud formation starting, very minimal but noticeable. About goddamn time, 3 weeks under 12/12 and all.

5/5/21 Week 8 of veg 9 of life. Plants has grown more than I expected. It's loving the tent. Checked ph of water this morning was at 6.5. Added ph down to bring back to 5.9. Ppm on nutrients were 470. This will be the final veg week. 1 more week until flower. Will get dose of recharge later this evening. Topped 7 more spots. 5/7/21 TDS low @299 ph @ 5.99ph water aprox 2 gallons low. Added water and nutrients to bring up to 499ppm and 5.89ph. Plant has grown 1.5 inches since being in tent. 5/8/21 got new tower fan that oscillates. Gave 2 quarts recharge. 5/10/21 re-potted to #7 nursery pot (5.9gal) replaced approximately 2/3 of nutrients water ph 5.85 tds 470. Change to flower cycle in 2 days. 5/11/21 flower cycle starts tomorrow. Broke stem 😔 taped up. Hope it's okay.

Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (Plant #1). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. Plant #1 had some heat related curling of leaves as well as some of the lower leaves showing impact of the pH fluctuations. My hope is we will be steady until harvest. Plant #2 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Late in the week, some of the leaves started turning brown from the pH issue but my hope is that with RO water only, we will be on the right track. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

Day 46 for this pretty lady. She’s so big and bushy and full. I’m just in awe of how she turned out. Very very excited for her she’s full of life and vigor. Nothing I’ve thrown at her has seemed to matter. Idk what Russian means but hey who cares when they look like this. Hello beautiful. Can’t wait to see her full and bulk out.

The second week of vegetation is going well! This time, I’ve decided to try the Green House Feeding BioEnhancer instead of BioBizz Root-Juice. I’ve had issues with the shelf life of Root-Juice in the past, so I’m curious to see how BioEnhancer performs. The plant is looking healthy now, but it had a bit of a rough start. I initially planted it in soil that was too heavily pre-fertilized, which caused the first leaves to turn yellow.😔 Thankfully, it recovered quickly and seems to be thriving now. 💪 To keep the plant as stress-free as possible during vegetation, I’ve decided not to train it for now. I want it to focus on strong, natural growth without any added strain. I’m excited to see how it progresses over the next few weeks—things are looking promising!🌱😊

12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.

Day 29 - All the ladies are now in flower & starting to stretch like crazy! The Rock Machine has a very nice natural canopy, can’t wait to see how these buds turn out! 12 semanas de floración y la planta sigue engordando los cogollos, que son enormes y muy densos, la planta conserva muchas hojas todavía y el consumo de agua sigue alto y estable, creo que al menos le quedan dos semanas más de cultivo, lo cierto, que aun a pesar del largo tiempo de cultivo de esta cepa, primero bloqueada por más de 4 semanas en el crecimiento vegetativo y ahora con esta larga floración, propia de sativas en exterior, está mereciendo mucho el cultivarla. De todos modos observo que todos mis cultivos se alargan mucho con respecto a las observaciones de los productores, yo creo que la nutrición variada y la salud de las raíces son cruciales en este aspecto. Por ahora muy satisfecho con el cultivo, la planta está respondiendo muy bien a los nutrientes y deja ver crecimiento en las colas día a día... puedo decir que en estos momentos es la planta dominante de entre todos mis cultivos, espero una cosecha de primera. Los rastros de insectos han desaparecido, las hojas grandes amarillean a un ritmo pausado... todo normal!! Such a beautiful plant! She’s fully developed and finishing off her flowers now! Swelling everyday and naturally fading! She’s drinking a lot slower now too so I checked her under the loupe and all trichromes are cloudy so I’m sure she’ll finish at 8 weeks! She’s currently on week 6 and 3 days in bloom! So In her 7th week! I’ll continue to follow the requirements to bionova and then flush once!, as I said I’ll check her under the loupe! Smells like it’s going to be full of terps! I just open the tent and smell her! Fantastic strain!
