🌸 Week 6 Flower – Gelonade Diaries The Gelonade girls continue their elegant dance into flower, both Pheno #1 and Pheno #2 shining in their own unique way. Their structures remain remarkably similar, tall, strong, and full of energy, while each holds onto her own personality, expressed in leaf form and flower shape. This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. We’ll keep a close eye, watching for patterns, listening to what the girls want to tell us, and adjusting gently if needed. 🌱 Quick Recap (For Those Just Joining) From the start, this run has been about detail and care. • Germination was clean and quick, the girls leaping from seed into life. • Veg was marked by strong branching, healthy leaves, and the unforgettable funky unicorn foliage of Pheno #2. • Transplanting into super soil and fabric pots gave them the room to spread their roots and breathe. • The shift into flower was smooth, guided by careful lighting, steady feeding, and a balance of Aptus and Plagron nutrients. • Weeks 4 and 5 saw sativa-like stretch, white hairs bursting across every cola, and canopy lights filling every corner with photons. Now here we are in Week 6: the garden maturing, the flowers stacking, the personality of the genetics truly revealing itself. 💧 Feeding & Balance The recipe continues to revolve around Aptus Regulator, CalMag Boost, Top Booster, and Plagron’s Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation, with Aptus All-In-One Liquid helping tie the orchestra together. We’re keeping EC balanced, always mindful that the soil already provides a strong foundation. 💡 What’s Happening & What’s Next This week is all about observation. Flowers are swelling, resin begins to sparkle in early traces, and aromas start to hint at what’s to come. What to expect: denser buds, richer pistil coloration, and a canopy that will soon demand defoliation for airflow. What not to expect: miracles overnight. This is the stage of patience, where the magic brews quietly within each calyx. 💚 Closing Thought The Gelonades remind us that growth is rarely flawless. A spot on a leaf is not a failure, but a message. Perfection isn’t the goal, balance is. And balance is exactly what these girls are showing us week after week. May the flowers swell with grace, may the leaves whisper their truths, and may the grower’s patience be rewarded in full bloom. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. This is the garden’s way of reminding us that beauty doesn’t always fit a mold, and that variation is part of the magic of growing. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. I have build a new lamp holder. Doesn't look reliable, but still strong enough to keep the lamp above the plant. I didn't want to change nutrients ration before I'd a real flowering, but she thinks different, at 4th day I found some sick leaves. Wasn't really sure why was that, I bet for lack of K, so I increased bloom and grow nutrients. And the next day I also decided to add bacterias. Also, since she wasn't growing fast, I bought vitamins (B52) to help her. I could've done it earlier, I just didn't have it at home :D Now, when she entering flowering, she becomes much less flexible and more fragile. So I don't really stretch her anymore, just sorting up some top leaves, so the buds would get more light. Also I continue doing defoliation as before. Idk, what to think, cause I was sure, I'd see some real buds this week, but I didn't. She's switching really slow, and didn't grow as much as I expected. I switched light time from 22/2 to 20/4. Previous time was experimental for me, and now I'm afraid that it might be a problem for slow growing, we'll see how it goes now. But, perhaps, slow growth is consequence of tops, that I've done and now she just needs more time and I shouldn't worry that much. Anyway, she still looks mostly healthy for me. What do you think?

This week went well and I seen quite but of growth. I top dressed today at 1 tbsp per gallon 50/50 444 all purpose and 284 bloom. My first pheno is getting quite large and I’m slightly concerned about over growing the tent when flipping to flower since the tent is only 6 feet tall and the plants nearing 3 feet tall including the pot, but I don’t want to short myself with the second pheno slowly starting to catch up. I plan on trying to continue to scrog the larger plant until next Sunday then flip to flower.

~ AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow System sponsored by GrowAce, featuring Strawberry Gorilla Auto by FastBuds ~ Well guy's and gal's here we go again on another exciting Autoflower run together! This time will be different as I will be doing a 'Hydroponic' run utilizing the AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow System by GrowAce, who were kind enough to sponsor me for this run, so it should be interesting to see what results I get and have some fun along the way! •Let me first tell you about this 6 Pot Ebb/Flow system from GrowAce: "The AirCube system is the one and only Ebb & Flow grow system on the market that combines the benefits of air pruning with a fully automated Ebb+Flow system! With the AirCube's proprietary fabric pot in bucket design, this system is guaranteed to outgrow any other Ebb + Flow system on the market. The results speak for themselves- grow MASSIVE roots that result in MASSIVE fruits! Air Pruning- Air Pruning only happens with fabric pots. As the roots reach the fabric walls of the pot, they penetrate and grow into the breathable fabric. Once penetrated, the roots are exposed to air, which causes the tips of the root to dehydrate and naturally prune themselves. This natural pruning process forces the roots to grow tons of lateral fibrous feeder roots. This results in a plant that utilizes the entire root zone and fills the entire pot with tons of roots. These fibrous feeder roots are incredibly effective in uptaking water and nutrients, resulting in a plant that grows healthier and more vigorously! Oxygen Benefits- Without oxygen, nutrient absorption cannot occur. On a molecular level, oxygen is needed to transmit nutrients across the cell walls and into the roots of a plant. With the AirCube's proprietary bottom lifted draining design, the system actively draws all of the water out of the bucket pulls vital oxygen into the root zone. Maximum Versatility with Any Grow Medium: The AirCube System is the only system on the market that allows you to use any growing medium you like. Use coco coir, soil, peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, hydroton, rockwool or any other medium you wish! This system is the most versatile Ebb and Flow bucket system in today's hydroponics industry. Temperature Control- with the fabric pots constructed with highly porous polypropylene fabric, heat dissipates easily and effectively. Unlike standard plastic pots, heat isn't trapped in the root zone. Heat in standard plastic containers can reach temperatures of up to 125 degrees. When this type of heat is trapped and unable to escape, it can damage your plant's health and limit the potential of your harvest. Growing in the AirCube System, plant roots grow cooler, healthier, and more vigorous. Largest Pots in its Class- this system features 5 Gallon grow buckets, the largest pot size of any other ebb and flow hydroponic system in the market. Modular and Expandable- start with 6 grow buckets and expand up to 36 grow buckets with the optional 105 gallons PopTank reservoir!" For my medium and nutrients I decided to also switch things up from my regular Organic runs, going with Plagron Nutrients and Root Royale 70/30 Coco/Perlite. When filling the fabric pots with medium, I first added just under a gallon of horticulture perlite from Nor-Cal as a base layer to ensure good drainage and then filled the remainder with the Root Royale. •Now for one of my favorites, and award winning strain from my friends at FastBuds... Strawberry Gorilla Auto: I'll be running Strawberry Gorilla Autoflower which is a 55/45 Sativa/Indica Hybrid. "ATTENTION ALL! Due to our continuous efforts in evolving our breeding process, we are proud to confirm that our Strawberry Gorilla Auto has now become one of the most potent autoflowers in the world! Paving the way to our recent success where she ranked on top & brought home the gold at the very first American Autoflower Cup in California. Moreover, she proved that not only modern autoflowers can compete with photoperiods, but they can even beat them in their field. At the most recent edition of the Farmer’s Cup and competing against various photoperiodic strains, Strawberry Gorilla Auto took home the title of 'Highest Combined Terpenes' in the highly sought-after 'Home Grow Hash' category, with an impressive 97.163 mg/g total terpene content! Our exceptional genetic selection's crowning Strawberry Gorilla Auto strain is a spectacular hybrid known for producing yields of up to 600 gr/m2 in 70 days. This is a very manageable grow that can reach heights of up to 150 cm - due to its magnitude we recommend it for more experienced growers, as a huge plant may be a little overwhelming for first-timers. This show stopping sativa heavy hybrid is perfect as an all day smoke, producing a taste bud tingling, pungent berry and diesel terpene-rich flavor combo that leaves you with a grin from ear to ear, a perfect choice for those looking for a day-and-night autoflower! The feed schedule of six 15 minute feeds daily continues with a 900ppm nutrient level. The HLG 650R remains at 100% output, and is hung 30" from the canopy now as I had to raise it for some taller plants in the tent. 11/10- The Strawberry Gorilla's just hit the one week mark in their flowering and the #2 definitely has the most developed flowers of the three plants, with the #1 and #3's flowers about equal in development. I'm continuing to adjust the LST wires on all three plants to try and keep as much light penetration down into the centers of the plants which has been working well. I have also removed a shade leaf here and there when necessary. 11/12- Today I drained, cleaned the reservoir and distribution bucket, then refilled the reservoir with 90L of 70℉ well water to which Plagron nutrients were added to give a 900ppm concentration, then ph'd to 5.8. All I am doing now in between drain/refills of the reservoir is adding straight water to maintain the 90L level and checking the ph. Over the course of the 7 days in between reservoir changes the ppm's will slowly drop, but will still be adequate, never dropping below 750ppm's. The plants are really doing well in this AirCube system and I'm slowly getting a better handle on its 'in's & out's'. I did also check the ppm's of the return solution to see if there was a wide variance from what was going in, and all was good with only a 50-100ppm difference. 11/14- There goes a full week of flower for the FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla's! They all should really get going in the next couple of weeks and I can't wait to see their progression through flower! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Grow what you love, Love what you grow!💚

We are in week 5 and all the ladies are doing well. I try to keep the EC between 2.5 and 3.0 and it seems the PPFD of around 450 mol makes them feel well 🌱 I’ll start with some LST soon. 🧙‍♂️🌱

Dynamics starts to gain momentum Slightly straightened, poured compote With a metal stick кemoved all the shoots from the branches there is no point wasting resources on them You can speed up the filling of the pot from the top by lowering the light, but then the root will not have time to fill the pot, so just wait I refresh the bend every day Сut the side light to the maximum, turned off the sink, it's too cold at night at the end of the week, work began on preparing for the replacement by the middle row

The grow was a lil unique was able to give it very low strength neits the whole veg. Stayed overall short during vegetation, but boomed once it went into flower. Turning out to be a tall pheno. Flower cycle was a total of 67 days, including a flush of 14 days and lights off for 2 days. Finished product was very long fluffy nugs stretching down the plant. Does not do well in heat at all, ideal temperature is between 60°-70°. Towards the end of flower cycle best to get humidity and temperature as low as possible to bring out the purple hues and bulked nugs. A perfect strain for cold climents or LED lights. Recommended for the connoisseur seeking a sweet change 👏💯
