This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. We’ll keep a close eye, watching for patterns, listening to what the girls want to tell us, and adjusting gently if needed. 🌱 Quick Recap (For Those Just Joining) From the start, this run has been about detail and care. • Germination was clean and quick, the girls leaping from seed into life. • Veg was marked by strong branching, healthy leaves, and the unforgettable funky unicorn foliage of Pheno #2. • Transplanting into super soil and fabric pots gave them the room to spread their roots and breathe. • The shift into flower was smooth, guided by careful lighting, steady feeding, and a balance of Aptus and Plagron nutrients. • Weeks 4 and 5 saw sativa-like stretch, white hairs bursting across every cola, and canopy lights filling every corner with photons. We’re keeping EC balanced, always mindful that the soil already provides a strong foundation. 💡 What’s Happening & What’s Next This week is all about observation. Flowers are swelling, resin begins to sparkle in early traces, and aromas start to hint at what’s to come. What to expect: denser buds, richer pistil coloration, and a canopy that will soon demand defoliation for airflow. What not to expect: miracles overnight. This is the stage of patience, where the magic brews quietly within each calyx. 💚 Closing Thought The Gelonades remind us that growth is rarely flawless. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. I have build a new lamp holder. Doesn't look reliable, but still strong enough to keep the lamp above the plant. I didn't want to change nutrients ration before I'd a real flowering, but she thinks different, at 4th day I found some sick leaves. Wasn't really sure why was that, I bet for lack of K, so I increased bloom and grow nutrients. And the next day I also decided to add bacterias. Also, since she wasn't growing fast, I bought vitamins (B52) to help her. I could've done it earlier, I just didn't have it at home :D Now, when she entering flowering, she becomes much less flexible and more fragile. So I don't really stretch her anymore, just sorting up some top leaves, so the buds would get more light. Also I continue doing defoliation as before. Idk, what to think, cause I was sure, I'd see some real buds this week, but I didn't. She's switching really slow, and didn't grow as much as I expected. I switched light time from 22/2 to 20/4. Previous time was experimental for me, and now I'm afraid that it might be a problem for slow growing, we'll see how it goes now. But, perhaps, slow growth is consequence of tops, that I've done and now she just needs more time and I shouldn't worry that much. Anyway, she still looks mostly healthy for me. What do you think?

Plants are still thriving well. Watered after topping w/ proper rate for week for according to schedule PH water to 6.2 and soak pots. Temp stays high above 75 degrees humidy same until tent is opened led at 50 percent about 20 inches away

Watering has jumped up to every 2 days ph 6.3-6.8 with 20% runoff Flower Fuel has been added to AP,GG and ZK watering's. Lights have been lowered to 24-28 inches. White Widow just started flower at end of the week. Still waiting on the Cream Cookie. Doing light Defoliation to expose bud sites to the lights.

This week went well and I seen quite but of growth. I top dressed today at 1 tbsp per gallon 50/50 444 all purpose and 284 bloom. My first pheno is getting quite large and I’m slightly concerned about over growing the tent when flipping to flower since the tent is only 6 feet tall and the plants nearing 3 feet tall including the pot, but I don’t want to short myself with the second pheno slowly starting to catch up. I plan on trying to continue to scrog the larger plant until next Sunday then flip to flower.

The feed schedule of six 15 minute feeds daily continues with a 900ppm nutrient level. The HLG 650R remains at 100% output, and is hung 30" from the canopy now as I had to raise it for some taller plants in the tent. 11/10- The Strawberry Gorilla's just hit the one week mark in their flowering and the #2 definitely has the most developed flowers of the three plants, with the #1 and #3's flowers about equal in development. I'm continuing to adjust the LST wires on all three plants to try and keep as much light penetration down into the centers of the plants which has been working well. I have also removed a shade leaf here and there when necessary. 11/12- Today I drained, cleaned the reservoir and distribution bucket, then refilled the reservoir with 90L of 70℉ well water to which Plagron nutrients were added to give a 900ppm concentration, then ph'd to 5.8. All I am doing now in between drain/refills of the reservoir is adding straight water to maintain the 90L level and checking the ph. Over the course of the 7 days in between reservoir changes the ppm's will slowly drop, but will still be adequate, never dropping below 750ppm's. The plants are really doing well in this AirCube system and I'm slowly getting a better handle on its 'in's & out's'. I did also check the ppm's of the return solution to see if there was a wide variance from what was going in, and all was good with only a 50-100ppm difference. 11/14- There goes a full week of flower for the FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla's! They all should really get going in the next couple of weeks and I can't wait to see their progression through flower! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Vamos familia, cosecha de estas Fruit Cake de Seedstockers, que ganas que tenia ya de darles machete. Que locura la pinta que tienen estas plantas. Las flores aparte llevan una capa muy resinos, y muy prietas, aparte son bien aromáticas huelen bien fuerte. En general es una genética con la que disfruté bastante cultivarla, la genética es perfecta para cultivos de floración corta con rangos entre los 20/25 grados en interior, es bien fácil cultivarla y bien resistente, es excelente para cultivadores principiantes. We are in week 5 and all the ladies are doing well. I try to keep the EC between 2.5 and 3.0 and it seems the PPFD of around 450 mol makes them feel well 🌱 I’ll start with some LST soon. 🧙‍♂️🌱

A BlueBerry OG continua em grande a engordar muito, e a shyscaberry está a começar a engordar também com um fabuloso cheiro. Acham que faça a colheita da runtz na próxima semana?

The grow was a lil unique was able to give it very low strength neits the whole veg. Stayed overall short during vegetation, but boomed once it went into flower. Turning out to be a tall pheno. Flower cycle was a total of 67 days, including a flush of 14 days and lights off for 2 days. Finished product was very long fluffy nugs stretching down the plant. Does not do well in heat at all, ideal temperature is between 60°-70°. Towards the end of flower cycle best to get humidity and temperature as low as possible to bring out the purple hues and bulked nugs. A perfect strain for cold climents or LED lights. Recommended for the connoisseur seeking a sweet change 👏💯
