Pollen Donor - 36 flower nights Pollen Receivers - 29 flower nights Figured it was a good time for an update. I think I mentioned in previous updates that I did not get a decent conversion rate at ~2mM concentration. Luckily, I do see a couple spots with early stigmata coloration, so at least some pollination has occured. I was pretty close to trashing it all. Even so, I expect very minimal number of seeds. The best plant, KM3 is definitely showing pollination. The from-seed MM also has shown early rusty stigmata. These are the two i most wanted seeds from. It's not all doom and gloom. Both are pictured after the hermie closeups. I don't see any coloration on the other 2 receivers, but at the very least some pollen is floating around. I will agitate the donor plant over the others for an extended period. When the male bits start to fall off the plant, I'll trash the donor. I will also have to extend the flower cycle to let any late pollination have time to properly develop viable seeds. This is a slight scheduling inconvenience for the 2nd breeding cycle, which was already a bit tight. While I consider this a complete fuck up of my own doing, it won't be a total waste of time. I also let these plants get too big. All that accomplishes is a need for more frequent fertigations. Next update in 5-6 weeks. Expect a few pictures of a small quantity of feminized seeds... Yaaaay! 7/20 Went over this morning to plants soaking wet and heavy rain. Went back around 4pm and plants actually look really good. The rain has stopped for a bit and the girls looked great. Apart from some septoria leaves I needed to defoliate on the first plant I treated. I also noticed a few others on other plants so it's spreading albeit slowly. I treated the three in the middle with their second dose of Plant Doctor at 3tsp/1gal. One gallon administered to each plant via root drench. I think I may treat the other plant showing signs with a diy Dr. Zymes using citric acid as the active ingredient. That way I Gould start treatment right away without having to rely fully on plant doctor. Plus it would kill any pests. Ive seen damage but the birds do a number on them. I dont want to spray my plants with a bunch of chemicals if I don't have too. I shouldve replaced the pallets and cleaned the cage better. I think I did a good job sanitizing as I have no wpm. Just this septoria I probably got when the lady mowing the lawn cut all tjis fucking grass and blew it in my pen, throwing bird seed and I'm sure tons of disease into my grow bags. I literally had to harvest a bunch if fucking sunflowers. It looked like my plants had been mulched. Just with small disease carrying shrubs. At some point some of this stuff has to be on purpose. You CAN'T be that stupid. A couple kushes in the back look hungry. I think I may need to up my feed. I've written to much. I'll keep this updated. Thanks if you made it this far. 7/21 I guess it rained last night. Oh well. It was blue skies for hours before dark. It must've rained late/early morning. I'm sure the app of plant doctor will be fine. Like I said I'm considering using citric acid as a foliar spray to help with the septoria and clean up any pests. I don't have enough pests to warrant spraying. I just don't want to put all my eggs in the plant doctor basket. Today is overcast and windy. The wind has really assisted in spreading this virus. I remove anything I see infected immediately and since these plants are reveges they have plenty of leaves. Plants are really stretching. I know I talk about the septoria a lot but realistically if someone looked through my garden they'd have a hard time spotting it. I don't want to exaggerate the problem but I don't like dealing with ANY fungus or molds. 7/22 It was 55° this morning when I went over. I defoliated some septoria leaves and a few that were fading or damaged. I saw almost a whole leaf eaten so it's probably a good idea to move forward with citric acid. I can add that to the plants I've already treated with plant doctor. This is the first year it's been so noticeable. It's the reveg 10th planet that started this off. Oh well. I've dealt with MUCH worse. Plants LOOK good (other than septoria leaves (on bottom of plant). Today is water day for me but it's been raining and it's a lot cooler today. Bags still had weight to them. I want them to have a proper wet dry cycle. Temps top out at 75° so I'll monitor during the day and if something NEEDS WATER I'll give it to it. I'm suprised I have ZERO WPM. The septoria is much more identifiable but pm is usual present in these conditions bur I don't have a spot of it. I may do some defoliation today. I also need to add supports for flowering but one thing at a time.

Oct 30 - Milky and clear Trichomes on mature plant, I suspect she's very close to harvest. The other plant is a little behind, with mainly Clear and Cloudy Trichomes. Continued to defoliate dead leaves as they're found. Senescence is starting to resume with colder temps. Oct 30 - Watered Mature plant at 7.30PM. Checked Trichomes, they seem pretty close. However some calyx' aren't pumping in volume + Stigma/Pistil colour whilst others are full with brown / orange coverage 50%. Oct 31 - Defoliated and Watered younger plant at 9PM. Nov 1 - Watered mature plant at Noon, purple starting to present on more colas. Nov 2 - Watered younger plant at 10AM. Trichomes on younger plant are mainly clear with one or two amber on calyx. Nov 3 - 8AM Watered mature plant, checked trichomes - more amber appearing in calyx - although clear trichomes still very present. Day 83, I suspect Day 90 will be chop day. I'll put both plants in 50 hours darkness on Day 87. She's Oily, when defoliating, My knuckles were slimy. Nov 4 - Amber Trichomes definitely present on calyx' Lower budsites are slightly behind, I might be chopping earlier - In fact, I'll put them in 48 hours of darkness starting tonight. If the younger plant is not ready, which I suspect the case - I'll resume regular lighting for another week or two. Nov 5 - After getting feedback, I'm surprised to see I have another 2 weeks. The purple plant is definitely putting on size. I suspect the weight of buds will be too much to stand freely.

. 📹 : Full Video on YouTube @hinterhofgrower 🌱 : Humidity dome off on day 9, Signs of CalMag deficiency? Removed the 2 lowest nodes on day 14 💧 : 1l day 10, 1l day 12, 2l day 14 💡 : Dli: 15 mol/m²/d 🤔 : The slightly twisted growth and mild interveinal chlorosis indicates a developing calcium-magnesium deficiency. Therefore, I reduced the pH to 6 to dissolve more calcium and magnesium ions from the added dolomite lime. Since it has germinated and grown quite quickly so far, I've decided to remove the two lowest nodes. This way, I don't have to remove the two large leaves above them to give the two lower nodes the same amount of light as the next two. The two large leaves are currently able to perform the most photosynthesis. Over the next few weeks, I will control the height of the central shoot through strategic defoliation and train the other shoots using low-stress training (LST).

This week was the last week of veg., I will switch to 12/12 (light/darkness) in week 6. The two Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are now 35 and 40 cm tall and have developed nice side-branches, which have grown upwards so they get enough light for good budding sites during flowering. The plants are still fed following the Advanced Nutrients schedule.

She is slowly growing. I was able to raise light intensity up to 650 ppfd without the corner plant now. They are taking up much more water now! *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

🐺 Week 4 Veg — The Legends of the Frozen North 12/12 from seed 📌 Disclaimer / Timeline clarification Before we begin, a quick note for transparency: Last week, while compiling the reports, I unintentionally included some photos that actually belong to this week. That one’s on me. It’s fairly easy to notice which photos those are, and to avoid duplicating files, I’ll keep the correct visuals where they are while continuing to share this week’s genetics shots and videos as intended. Thank you for the understanding — clarity and honesty always come first here 🙏 Quick recap (for anyone joining us now) We’re in Week 4 of vegetative growth, steady and intentional. No stress events, no corrections, no forcing. This phase has been about establishing structure, roots, and rhythm — letting the plants find their footing before the real acceleration begins. So far, everything has been calm, balanced, and exactly where it should be. ⸻ 🌡️ Room Conditions & Environment • Temperature: 25.7 °C • Relative Humidity: 60% • VPD: Right in the comfort zone for mid-veg • Airflow: Stable and consistent This environment supports: • steady metabolic activity • healthy transpiration • deep green leaf development No swings, no drama — just a room doing its job. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy (Week 4) • LED intensity: 90% • Lighting position: Top lighting only • Under-canopy lighting: Not active yet (planned for flower) The plants are growing into the light, not being pushed by it. That’s an important distinction. We’re not chasing numbers — we’re observing response. To stay informed, we’re using a TrolMaster PAR sensor, walking the tent and checking PPFD across the canopy. Nothing is adjusted — this is purely situational awareness. Knowing where you stand matters, even when you choose not to intervene. ⸻ 🌱 Nutrition Program (Current Feed) The nutrition is intentionally simple, complete, and supportive: • Plagron Terra Grow — base nutrition for vegetative development • Power Roots — root mass, lateral branching, early resilience • Pure Zym — enzyme support, cleaner rhizosphere • Sugar Royal — gentle metabolic & microbial support • Vita Race — foliar vitality and micronutrient support Nothing excessive. Nothing missing. The plants are responding with lush green color, clean leaf posture, and uniform growth. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Observations • Color: deep, healthy green • Leaves: flat, relaxed, expressive • Growth rate: slow and steady — as expected • Structure: building quietly There’s honestly not much to “fix” this week — and that’s a good sign. Week 4 veg is often deceptive: things look calm on the surface, while roots and internal systems are stacking potential underneath. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and Not Expect) Expect: • a noticeable growth acceleration soon • tighter node stacking • increased appetite as roots fully establish Don’t expect: • explosive stretch yet • dramatic visual changes this week • the need for major adjustments The “takeoff” is coming — not because we force it, but because this groundwork allows it. To the moon is just an expression 😉 — but the momentum is real. ⸻ Closing Notes Week 4 veg is about patience, trust, and restraint. The legends of the frozen north weren’t written in haste — and neither are strong plants. Community Note Due to YouTube community guidelines, our educational channel was taken down. As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Start of week 6 of flowering. Plant 2, survived last week's heat stress and seems to be recovering well. With the new exhaust fan - vivosun 4 inch, 195cfm - my temps have not exceeded 35°c at any time I've spot checked. Hopefully no more issues or setbacks for the rest of this grow.

Smooth sailing at this point... I have just a few key things to discuss going forward this week. No more nitrogen being fed to these plants at this point. My PK booster has no nitrogen, and I plan on using it once or twice more. The majority of nutrition at this point is coming from the rooted leaf Cal-Mag fuel which is an organic source of food. I've also been using the Golden Tree 0-0-2 but unfortunately I ran out this week. To replace it, I'll be using an organic black strap molasses. My temperatures have also dropped at night. By by about 7° c. My daytime temperatures are down two or three degrees Celsius. CO2 dosage is set to 800 parts per million
