Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! The next phase will depend on how fast they continue to spread, and adjustments will be made accordingly. Closing Thoughts & What’s Next? These 2 are growing amazing, especially plant 1 is doing great. I've had the humidity on about 40% for most of the time since I have another flowering auto in the tent but these don't seem to mind. I've also had them on about 400umol/m2/s

I put 318 grams of wet bud into my dry tent, my target variables are 60F/60RH for 2 week, with the current temps and high out side humidity we are averaging 66F/58%RH so not to far off - these buds will probably be done at 10 days - looking forward to updating this as harvest report when I trim up.

Day 50, The deficiency on the smaller pheno seems to be under control. It hasn't spread any that I've noticed. Everybody else seems to be pretty happy. Light intensity is set to 9 at 18in from the canopy and each plant is getting about 650-750 ppfd depending on how close to the center. Leaves are praying slightly and tips have a very small amount of burn. I think the light and nutrients are at the max these girls can handle. So now its time to bulk up!! Hopefully the Terps ramp up too because right now its not much, smells like green onions and breakfast sausage lol. Stay frosty, Gromies. See you next week.

Something is annoying with this app. I cant take pics with it. Hopefully it just the app permissions. Nothing too exciting yet this week. #2 has been struggling getting adjusted to the new pot. Where #1 took off. Idk what the difference is apart from the training methods. Having said that I have topped number 2 and fimmed her lower branches hoping that a little encourage root growth.. I've also had to do a bit of re arranging. So these are now elevated the highest and under mostly 2x 50w auto cobs. They both have supplemental lighting coming from the 2 viparspectra LEDs I have near them. Day 52: Watered both the girls today. They're drinking fast! I water till slight runoff and they get about 2.5 gallons every 36hrs or so. Also we raised the cobs a bit up to 24" from them. Day 53 & 54 Nothing to say for day 53. Maybe I think #1 is getting a bit rootbound. I say this only because her leaves are curled like they are over watered yet the plant is dry. And she went in a growth spurt last week. Day 54 I picked up some soil for transplant tomorrow. I am putting #1 into a 10gal bag. #2 I haven't decided yet. Day 55: I transplanted #1 today into a 10gallon fabric smartpot. I mixed the bottom soil with Fox Farms Ocean Forest because we are getting ready to flip to bloom and ocean forest has more P&K and less N. And that's what we want. Hopefully she doesn't shock. I inoculated #1s roots with Azos during transplant. Applying it gently and directly onto the roots.
