White widow was the first breeder strain that I grew years ago and I am excited to see how the seedsman widow compares to the old school genetics.
I soaked this seed in RO water for about 36 hours until it popped then placed it in a rockwool cube that had been soaked overnight in pH 6 RO water. She emerged 4 days from soaking her.
She is under a 23w 6500k cfl. I will start her on a pinch of nutrients on day 3. She will be transferred to a Dutch bucket soon.
Day 3 after a 24 hour test run of the new system the girls have been transferred to the dutch buckets. Will be pumping nutrients 24/7.
I did her first water change on day 10 upped the nutrient dose and increased the reservior to 12 gallons. Gave her the first dose of armor si and humic acid. I topped her on day 12 to start 4 main branches. Will most likely top again and start training in about a week depending on how she wants to grow. She is the slowest growing plant so far but I have high hopes for her. The goal is a maximum of 5 weeks veg if they cooperate. They are under 240w qb and a galaxyhydro pulling about 140w for now. Will be adding more qb when I spread the buckets out.
This little white widow is definitely the runt of the group but she is doing well. I am sure she will catch up before it is over. Gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. Tied a couple of her branches down but there isn't much there to train yet. Added another 240w quantum board kit. Just going to keep trying to spread her out and pluck some leaves as needed to keep the canopy and light penetration even.
The white widow is still smaller than the rest but she is looking good. She is back row center. Gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. Been pulling some leaves here and there to keep budsites open. Going to keep spreading her out as she grows. Will switch them to flower in a week.
Day 33 Gave her a flush and fresh nutrients. Added a little maxibloom. Switched lights to 12/12. Added a 3rd set of 3000k quantum boards for a total of 860 watts.

.25 tsp maxibloom
.25 tsp armor si
.5 tsp calimagic
.1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid

Been on 12/12 for a week and I am seeing a little stretch and signs of preflower. I moved her to the back row corner to pair up similar sized plants for even lighting. Spread her branches out a little in hopes that a few more of the lower branches will fight their way to the top. I am excited about all of the girls but I have especially high hopes for this widow.

The white widow was a runt but she has really picked up the pace and about caught up with the rest of the girls. She is stretching nicely and starting to build a lot of nice little top buds. She seems to have a nice balance of spacing between her buds. So excited to see how she turns out. Will be starting them on some liquid Koolbloom next week.

What can I say....So far she is a beauty. Beautiful indica structure and easy to please. I gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Started them on some liquid Koolbloom. I feel like I need to cut a clone off her and cross breed it with something but not sure what. Maybe the bubble bomb....
Nutrients per gallon
.75 tsp maxibloom
.2 tsp liquid koolbloom
.5 tsp calimagic
.25 tsp armor si

Everything on this one is classic white widow. She has a really tight structure and starting to frost up a little. She won't have the biggest yield of the bunch but I am sure she won't disappoint. Gave the girls a flush and fresh nutrients. Found some tiny bugs floating in the reservoir and crawling around in the perlite so I added some hydrogen peroxide and turned the pumps to high to try to kill them and flush them out. Looks like it did the trick. I ordered some ladybugs and lacewings just to be safe. Hoping for smooth sailing to the finish
This white widow is developing an issue with some leaves. She is getting some brown spots that is a definite calcium deficiency and I am seeing some blotchy yellowing on some of the leaves also. I know that she has plenty of Calimagic and nutrients so I am pretty sure she has some salt build up in the perlite. I didn't give them as good as a flush as I usually do last week. I am giving the system a flush now, but I am going to finish her off with a gallon of water dosed with 1 tsp calimagic and give her 8 hours to drink it up before I put her feed hose back in. I think this will fix her up but I will keep an eye on her the next few days to make sure. I will update if anything else has to be done with her. But other than this issue, her buds are looking pretty nice and stacking more calyxes every day. Her buds aren't as fat as the bubble bomb but I wouldn't call them small lol.
At the beginning of last week this one started getting some brown spots and yellow blotching in the leaves which I first thought was calcium deficiency. I gave her a little extra calimagic but that didn't help. The brown spots were working their way through the veins of the leaves and even started affecting a few of the sugar leaves. I had to do some research on this one and it was looking like a phosphorous deficiency or a root problem were the only problems this could be. I dug into some of the roots and they look healthy so I added a little dose of Beastie bloomz to the reservoir. Beastie bloomz is 50% phosphorous. After watching the leaves for a few days the brown spots stopped spreading so I guess that was the issue. None of the other plants in the system showed any issues so it is pretty strange but we are back on track. Her buds are still stacking up and a few of the older calyxes are starting to swell. Hoping we can cruise along for the next few weeks until we get the finish line.
This girl was having a rough time the last couple weeks but I finally got her under control and she did well this week. Her buds are swelling up and she is getting pretty close. Trichomes are mostly cloudy. Still quite a few clear though. I think she will run about another week before she is ready to flush. This plant was the only one in the system that had any major issues but I think she will end up ok. The only real concern is the leaf damage got into the sugar leaves so I will have to do a thorough trimming to get the brown leaves out of the buds. I am up for the job though. Just have to wait for her to amber up a little.
This girl looks like she has been through a war zone but she is still hanging in there. Buds are swelling up pretty nice but she still has a lot of clear trichomes so going to try to push her another week. Her buds are pretty fat but I think she can get a little more plump. She is getting pretty gassy. Smells of strong fuel!
She is starting to get some amber trichomes so it is about that time. Gave her an initial 10 gallon flush. Will be flushing her with 5 gallons of RO water per day for about a week. Her buds are fat and the smell is straight jet fuel.
