Hello. This is the end of week 12 and the beginning of week 13 of veg. The plants are doing good and smelling like citrus/lemon when I work with them. It will still be another week or 2 before I start flowering. I'll continue with training them till they fill in their spaces. A couple of plants have made it to the edge now, but still have to fill in the spaces. They are getting a gallon of rainwater each 3 to 4 days now. There's lots of compost in each pot (5 gallons per pot) to keep them going for a few more weeks before needing nutrients. In the past, in this greenhouse, I've used my 15 gallon hydro reservoir to give a some nutrient each day, and hand watered when they seem dry. And got great results. So I'll try that method again this year. Give enough nutrient each day for 6 days so the 15 gallon tub lasts 6 days. Then make more nutrient and wash the tub/reservoir on the seventh day. Then fill it up for the next 6 day schedule. I'll do that starting the 2nd week of flowering with flowering nutrient. Just so's you knows. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Week 12 of flower

This is my third time growing this cultivar. The first was the seed plant, the second was in a 5 gallon pot that got too large, and now this is one. It's my favorite daytime herb in my collection. Has a lemon tea like scent and flavor, good buzz, not overpowering, but doesn't make me sleepy either. The last time I took her at 87 days, but like I said that plant was way too big. I have found that flowering in 2 gallon pots provides a much more manageable experience all-around. This is all head stash. I am harvesting every 30 days or so, and I certainly do not require 6 ounce plants to satisfy my demand. Much more to come, stay tuned.

Hoy es el día 1 (día 35 desde la germinación) de floración de nuestras 3 plantas de Tropicanna Poison XL AUTO. Las plantas han sido sometidas a un entrenamiento LTS con piezas 3D para ver cómo funciona este tipo de entrenamiento. D120. We have arrived at the twelfth and final week of this grow. Twelve weeks of flower is plenty, and the trichomes are starting to mature. In any case, I soon need to move the light into another tent, so chop day is almost here no matter what. ------------------------------ D121. I was going to wait a while longer, but today, I said fuck it and chopped the girls. They are now hanging in the tent, and there's an Inkbird controller connected to a humidifier and dehumidifier, keeping the humidity at 60%. Now we wait at least two weeks for the dry to finish. ------------------------------

Having a lux meter has improved my grows so much. Knowing your DLI and where the hottest/coldest parts off your plants (ppfd wise) is just really the next step in adding that thing to your grow(s) that sets your next crop from your last. As I'm a long way from where I want to be. My next crop will focus on 2-3 plants. Doing 35 really is its too much work. Timing and moving plants around as there all at different stages. Like autos in pre fower will only take about 35-40dli before showing stress (drooping for ages after lights out or near the end of lights on) but, really you only see it about 20m after lights out. So its kinda of a ritual for me to check my girls after I put them to bed. Also doing 3-4 swaps and plant moves in and out of my dark room, or moving from the 70cm2 into my 1m2 (having a same spectrum of very close is a must if you're going to reg change lights/tents. As for this strain. She's really happy. Bit of wind burn you can see my 360degree ball fan is to powerful on its lowest setting. I'm thinking of putting something to break the wind on her. I did remove the 1st true leafs/nodes much later than I did with my 2 Fastbuds (that stalled for a wk) but they're back strong. And no early flip. Really only thing I can think of is the DLI and not stressing them day in day out with lights out has improved all my plants. (Lux meter id suggest any grower who wants to push their limits) Maintenance 1st True leafs/nodes removed to help energy move to the next more important sets. Very little to no feed. I'm keeping her going with Fish force and Royal mix soil. This week I'll be adding Xpert Nutrients. Cali smoke on and off lately- plants don't seem to mind too much. They've been flowering for more than about a week now - I've up'd my nutrients a tiny tiny bit - fairly consistent though. A couple of pests - leafhoppers - have been spotted tearing some small holes on a couple of my leaves Just have been flicking off about two or three everyday, nothing to serious to worry about I think. Also, I sprayed a foliar spray 'Diamatacious Earth' about a week ago - all over the bottoms and under sides of my plants - I'm hoping to not have to re apply another spray but might in the next couple of weeks if pests continue to infiltrate! I went overboard on the tablespoons I used in my hand sprayer, applied a thick layer haha. OVERALL - Plants maintaining healthy growth. Commencing Week 12 - 4th week of flowering - Day 78 from germination - Day 28 of 12/12 on January 9th Garden is going great! Only minor hold up is my pH and PPM meter has gone haywire today so I have one arriving in the mail tomorrow. I used one of my flower bomb males and crossed the 818 number one and the Branch with a wire tie. Seeds coming soon :-) "You can have change without progress but not progress without change" I am trying a new nutrients called Mega crop. Currently I utilitize a very sterile and all chemical nutrients solution that contains no enzymes no amino acids and no beneficial bacteria and I have gotten great results, and I enjoy not having to do much work, literally no swap outs in this grow so far has saved my water bills and my back. However as I stated there is no progress with change and in line with wanting to get better I am trying a new nutrient called Mega crop which contains many of the things that I have thus far stayed away from. Starting off very lightly and will see what happens either way I am anxious and excited for the next 4 weeks 🤩🤩🤩
