So they’re still stretching, I thought they were slowing down a couple days ago, but then I walked in today and realised shit, they’re still going, must have grown another 3 inches since yesterday. They have almost filled out the whole 6x4ft space, a little space by the door and in the corners, the floor is looking well shaded which I am happy about, as that means I am not wasting too many photons. I have an maybe another 10/15cm of spare vertical capacity before I’m going to have to start some emergency super-cropping. Starting to get a little anxious I still haven’t changed out the reservoir from 16 days ago, although my top ups have been the same composition as noted above. I think I will drain her out tomorrow which has a drastically lower ratio of nitrogen. I have to say, this Botanicare range is incredibly stable and forgiving once you get past mid veg. As for the genetics, she knows how to grow without little fuss. Maybe I have been very lucky, time will tell once I finish my next grow with a different strain. The plant at the back of the room is a little squat compared to the other two but maybe she will catch up. Waffled on a bit here, thanks for stopping by, have fun all!

Grow Diary – Day 73 (Flowering Day 53) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom Date: May 24 (Saturday) Status: Entering final ripening – harvest approaching At Flowering Day 53, the Sour Frootz plants are now in the late flowering phase, showing strong signs of maturity. Buds are fully formed, tight, and heavily coated in resin. Trichome development has peaked visually—most heads are now cloudy, with a noticeable rise in amber trichomes, especially on upper colas. The aroma is intense and complex: sweet, citrusy fruit mixed with sour funk and subtle earthy undertones. The terpene expression is at its most volatile, and the flowers are sticky to the touch. Some larger fan leaves are beginning to fade, showing natural senescence—primarily a gentle yellowing, with no signs of stress or deficiency. Nutrient Program: • Still running Bio Bloom, though it can now be tapered or discontinued if you plan a light flush. • Bio Grow is no longer active at this stage (breakdown complete), but residual nutrients are sustaining the plant. Watering is now more moisture-controlled to avoid excess humidity near dense colas, reducing mold risk. Start Woche 3 Blüte. Heute wurde das erste mal Entlaubt und ein paar der untersten Triebe kamen weg. Nun haben sie wieder etwas Luft. Die rechte Dame legt gerade einen zwischenspurt ein😳 (Hoffe die ist Ende der Woche mit dem größten Teil der Strech Phase durch)... Beide bekamen heute nochmal ein Topdress mit 2g/l Greenhouse Feeding BioBloom. Ansonsten ist das bisher ein sehr entspannter Run😌😌 Außer ab und an den Tank kontrollieren ist nix zu tun. Tag 15 Blüte Die Lampe wurde nochmal hochgehängt.. (nun ist Ende, höher geht nicht) Aber es kam endlich die Zusatzbeleuchtung an und wurde direkt eingebaut. 40W Fullspectrum als undercanopy und 48W UV (auch als Pest Control). Das Undercanopy ist mit der Hauptlampe an. Die UV ist erstmal auf 50% gedrosselt und läuft je 15min vor und nach der Lichtphase.

Day 91 she’s huge and starting to bulk up. Her green color has returned once I got the ph issue under control I wasn’t sure if it was going to return. She was very sensitive to the water quality. I’m excited to Watch her bulk up she’s a slow finisher for sure. But you can’t rush perfection.

Base nutrients were reduced and PK 13/14 increased. So far she seems to take the change well. The buds keep swelling and are already rock-hard.

Transplanted into the 5 gal smart bucket. Branches seem to be growing again. All main branches are tied down now, will take clones from the lower banches this week. But the red stems are worrying, I think she's stressed from repotting but I will wait and see. But the yellow new growth I will have to keep an eye on and do some reading. I was considering repotting to a 5 gal smart pot because I have the space but should leave it a while so she can recover. Thinking about what to do for flowering lights. don't know if low end LEDS might be a better option the cfls I have now.

I am starting a Melon Gum from Pure Instinto. I scuffed the seed ends. I dropped her in water. I will plant her in the rock wool once I get a tap root started.
