Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of veg. I took another look at the males and found them to be average. Not that smelly or resinous. So, no good for breeding. That's ok though. Let see what these females can do. They are topped already and ready to be repotted and put in the tent. There's still 1 plant undecided. Has small male looking flowers. I'll leave it for a few more days before deciding. Man, there are lots of large female orb weaving spiders around here this year. Huge webs, when you walk into them in the dark, they don't break off like the little webs. What a difference in design though. These spiders are all in my yard. I find them fascinating to look at. This is the 5th ILGM OG kush I've grown, the first I've tried to top. Now I know that I topped about 2 or 3 nodes to soon. But what I know from the other og's I've grown, buds will be fat and sticky and from the looks of her she is going to be all bud!!

Looks of frost developing and loads of purple showing. Starting to pack on the mass. Been drinking up 1.2 gallons of water every 2 days now. Major defoliation this week to trim back all the extra leaves. Compost tea was made and added Cultured Biologix EZ Tea Bloom to it. This plant has had zero issues this far and is really trucking along.

Apricot got got the chop last night! That’s why I’m late on my diaries,I knew she’d be ready! But man,she was an amazing plant to grow. There towards the end she started throwing new pistols but I think that’s just due to going a little too long cause i was wanting amber tricombs. They’re all fully cloudy with slight amber,can’t wait to see how she dries and cures🔥🔥

So far so good. Today, on 23/8, I fed her with Biobizz Grow for the first time. I think she's been growing at a decent pace even without any fertilizers, so, in order to not risk nute burn, I used a smaller dose than what BioBizz recommends. 27/8 The newer leaves seem as if they are curling up a little bit. Might be because the light is very low. So, I have raised the light a little bit. Let's see how she responds. put on new lights that are more suitable for the veg phase. ------------------- 28/8 So I posted a question regarding a Spot that appeared on one of the leaves. By mistake I selected an answer that might not be adequate to my situation. GrowDiaries does not let you change the selected answer so I am copy-pasting the correct answer here. Bostongirl17 was right because I did spray some Neem Oil on the plant because there were mosquitoes in my room and i even saw a little spider. So it could be that a bigger droplet fell on the leaf and caused that blemish/spot. Bostongirl17: If it’s growing with the leaf- and not at a faster rate. It’s probably just a blemish. Is it possible you splashed them with your nutrients during feeding? 🌱 ----------------------

Hello , well she started producing pistils & budlets at beginning of the week. I switched the light onto it's super lumen setting, which gives it another 60 watts so now on 660watts , stopped training through the net. OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. On hand for heavier use (Once every 3 days before lights out for 15 days) in the case of an outbreak (No outbreaks yet, due to aforementioned preventative measures)

D15. Week three, and slowly things are starting to happen. She is stretching out and getting wider, and her root development looks good. I increased the DLI to 22 and plan to raise it further over the week. ------------------------------ D16. Transplanted, added worms, and watered with 1 liter of water @ pH 6.4, with one teaspoon of myco/kelp mixed in. ------------------------------ D18. Yesterday, a few of her leaves were drooping but have sprung back. (Maybe a tiny transplant shock or slight overwatering after the transplant...?) In any case, she is now growing along and looking healthy. I increased the DLI to 24 yesterday and 26 today. She doesn't need any more water yet, but I will continue to hand water until her roots have developed enough to drink from the reservoir. ------------------------------ D21. End of the third week, and all is well in the tent. She loves her new home, although I've spotted yellow tips on two new leaves and burnt tips on a couple of old leaves, so it seems that this super-soil might be a bit "hot." I'm being a bit unfair since I had to use a magnifier to spot the burnt tips. That's how minor the damage is. I increased DLI to 30, and still, no water was needed. ------------------------------

Day 15 Mon I'm concerned that I may be providing her with an excessive amount of nuts, leading to a high (EC). However, we'll need to wait and see how it turns out. Hey everyone, I have a sour ripper plant in my 40x40 cm grow tent, and I've shared my light setup above. I need your opinions on whether I should transition her into the flowering stage or wait a bit longer. I think I may have trimmed the main stem too much to the side, and I'm a bit worried about it, honestly. This is my first grow, and I've made some mistakes along the way. Should I perform more low-stress training (LST) to the opposite side of where I trimmed the main stem? I've also removed four big leaves from the bottom that were covering a significant amount of light to the lower branches, and I've just performed four toppings. I need your opinions , happy growing all!
