PLANTS ARE GROWING DAILY. I AM PRETTY HAPPY WITH MY RESULTS THUS FAR. ITS MY FIRST GROW AND ONLY BEEN DOING RESEARCH ON GROWING FOR A FEW MONTHS. I WANTED TO FIND THE EASIEST, MOST EFFICIENT WAY TO DO THIS WITHOUT HAVING TO BE A "HELICOPTER" TYPE OF GROWER.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Nov 3rd- She responded so well to the higher feeding, i never knew a plant could be that hungry but it helped loads. The video is a sneak peak at my automated humidity control using cheap lugin wifi controls and smart life triggers with a manual knob humidifier so it turns one when notified of the humidity in the tent :D Note- There are odd markings on the leaves i dont know if this septoria leaf spot, or just a deficiency (looks like calcium deficiency but im not sure) i did accidently water without rasing the ph so that water/feed could have been from 5 - 5.5ph BUT these spots were appearing before hand. I also noticed the lower leaves yellowing so i increased the nitrogen a very small amount and it shaped up (itis yellowing again but i believe that may because of the possible ph imbalance) much better overall im happy so far!

Started week four with a top dressing of rabbit guano. Growth is very good in my opinion. The lst has produced lots of new stems❤️Used some wooden skewers to open up the plant to the light.

12/24/18 Decided to make bubble hash with the trim and small buds from all 4 plants. The bubble hash is now drying. This plant has been a dream to grow. No problems from her at all. I even found a couple keeper phenos as well. The black magic soil and fertilizer, along with the aerated nutrient teas that these ladies were feed worked to perfection. All organic living soil is the way to go! Im not finished yet. I will update this diary soon with dry weight and a smoke report once the ladies are done drying.00000

2/17: I spent a little time rearranging today. I bought some 32" x 14" plastic ventilated storage shelves and cut the legs down on two of them so I have some different-height platforms for the shorties in the garden. I should also be able to easily flush 6 plants in 5 gallon pots, or 9 plants in 3 gallon pots at a time now, that's a win!👈 2/18: I debated whether to feed or not, and settled on watering them with about 1/2 gallon each. including bembe, cal-mag, signal, humic acid, and a little beastie bloomz. The new dehumidifier is pulling about a gallon and a half per day from the air, so I should be able to feed them in a coupe of days. I've reached the ceiling again with my lights and all three are still stretching. I've either tied down or supercropped all the branches on the two taller ones at this point. 2/19: Rainy day outside, so I'm pulling in 99% humidity, plus the pots are still petty saturated, but the new dehumidifier is keeping up. RH is holding at about 45% today.👍 2/20: Day 31 of flower...they grew another couple of inches overnight! Damnit!😟 After emptying the closet (again) today and supercropping more branches (and some of the same branches again), a semi-solution occurred to me that allowed me to raise the lights another 3-4 inches! Now I'm truly maxxed out... Word to the wise..you get the idea from the 49-day estimate that FF#11, being Indica-dominant, will be short/squatty/fast, but I can say that this strain, if well fed and illuminated, consistently produces absolute monsters...slow to flower.. 300%+ stretch from whenever you start flowering them. I really needed everybody to finish in the same week so I could get my Spring autos going...😶 I'm still hoping that they will get their groove-on and finish by the EHD(3/11), but it's not looking possible at this point... They're likely to be the heaviest producers in the garden, so that's pretty good consolation I suppose. I took photos and videos of all the plants today since I had to empty the closet and it wasn't a feeding day. 2/21: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including beastie bloomz, tiger bloom, big bloom, signal, bembe, and cal-mag...no grow big this time. 2/22: MONSTERS..they're such a pain in the ass, but I do love them so! During veg, they were pretty dark green, but they've lightened up quite a bit. They are still the slowest to flower, but they're stacking up nodes really nicely.👍 2/23: I ordered some Terpinator because I'm not so sure about Signal's efficacy at this point....I'm usually dealing with odors more by now..😕 That's it for week 9-

All good .. watering every 3-4 days ..light on 100 % power when i see a problem a raise up on 55 cm ..now is 40 cm from plants

This week, sun pattern shifted. current spot only has light until 5 or sometimes even 4 pm. I seen a massive jump in size this week. One of my steaks lifted a tiny bit, just had to add 2 more for support. Now she will grow as the shape of the letter L I want to see one last push before flower 🌼 . The top of the main stalk cola. I'm still confused on, why it wants to flower but just conting growing in size. Almost reminds me of growing sunflowers

Wet, 20gr on the top. Trichomes were getting brown. Will leave the rest for a couple of days.

I was a little disappointed with yield but do have about 60g of trim that was too fluffy to bother with trimming . I’m thinking of making bubble hash

I LOVE GROWING!! Purple Kush is growing super fast! It will be finished way before the Moby Dick's. I was noticing some swollen Calyx on the Purple Kush and since I'm a newbie I was a little concerned thinking that she hermed on me. After talking with many growers I was told it was normal which was a HUGE relief. I fed 5 out of 7 days this week Ph between 6 - 6.1 Moby 1 - 9ml 4500ml Moby 2 - 9ml 4500ml Purple - 8ml 4000ml *Screwed up one feed on the Purple and fed 9ml 4000ml and shortly notice nute burn.

Week 4 flower: all 3 plants left in the tent are pollinated - it's hard to tell to what extent but bud formation has slowed down 😞. Middle plant (Mimosa Evo #2) is definitely the strongest pheno and its trichomes smell like tangerines which is really nice! We did an intense defoliation on Day 24 of flower in an attempt to lower humidity and increase airflow but RH is still dangerously high at 80% because of the current weather. Also gave them a bloom PK top dressing on day 26 because canna coco does not provide a PK boost in their coco nutrient line. Hope to see the buds dense up over the next few weeks without too many seeds ...
