Not much do do this week. Training is mostly done. Don't really have anything to trim as was doing it as I went along. Just need to keep an eye on her. She's starting to flower but it looks like dimming the light affected the stretch. Day 37 - some mild defoliation Day 39 - looks like she's done with her stretch but hopefully she'll grow a bit more.

This week I have made a video to show The progress over 4 weeks trying to be a bit different on GD! Hope you like! Was a little worried when this one didn’t pick up her pace but I gathered I had over watered and put a heat mat under her for a couple of days! And that sorted her right out! I have trained with pipe cleaners to hold those stems down as they allow the lower coverage to rise! Everything going smoothly! I hope you like buddies!

8/26 - sporty looking great, praying hard! Posh is working on it. But look who finally showed up to the party! I’m calling her Baby spice. She sprouted 12 days after going in the soil. Way to be a fighter girl! This is going to be a tricky thing to manage I feel like my gals are tracking a week apart. I’ll keep this journal’s timeline on sporty spice. -1 week for posh and -2 weeks for baby spice. spice girls let’s grooooow! 8/30 - exactly two weeks from sprout for Sporty and Posh. Pretty wild how big a difference there is between the two. Baby is getting her footing. Now. Sporty already pushing 4-5 nodes and I saw a tiny root through the drain hole. Wanted to pot her up! About 8 cups pro mix, one cup perlite. About 1.5 tbs of Gaia green 4-4-4, some worm castings and sprinkled mycorrhiza around where the rootball would be. God speed girly! 9/3. Potted up Posh today. About a half gallon pro mix, plus about 1.5 tbsp of the Gaia green 4-4-4. Plus about a cup of worm castings, perlite, and mycorrhiza. Sporty is looking very happy, 5 nodes and counting. Added back my second light, let’s go girls!!! 9/5. Wrapping up week 2 here, so far I’ve been really impressed with the pro mix Gaia green and soil support so far. The girls seem happy and healthy. Just did the switch to 12/12. Decided not to scrog. It’s my first time not scrogging. I have been training them a bit. One of the plants has been abused by me a bit. It didn’t love being topped. Not sure but it grew very bushy and I’ve been working hard on it. Using it as a bit of an experiment.

And here we are with another week just over... And most probably next week I will also chop her down!! In these week probably for the heat stress she got I started seeing some main buds foxtailing. We are in the 10/14 days of plain pHed water, but I'm considering cutting her before the full flush is complete, this cause I can also see some amber trichomes. Bushy little mama. Removed the tobacco plants as they were taking over the tent. She is on her lonesome now so she can make full use of the space available. Looking like she needs some defoliation pretty soon. 3/10 Gave her a radical defoliation. Took away about 85% of all the larger fan leaves and some lower canopy growth. I want all the plants energy to go into flowering and developing large kolas. Don't expect the auto clone to get much bigger, so won't be potting up, but she may produce a decent kola.

04/02/24. Here we are starting week 6. Not too much has changed since last week. 2 of the girls leaves seem to be changing colors no matter what intensity of light I try, or what nutrients I give, or don’t. Both of their pistols have gotten really dark as well. #1 (middle plant) has stayed pretty dark green, pretty sure she has too much nitrogen before. Her pistols seem to be darkening much slower. It seems as the other 2 are very similar to each other, and seem more mature. I figured they would maybe drink less water as time went on but instead it seems they are drinking more than ever. Some days the soil is so dry and they look droopy after having been watered thoroughly the day before. Others they seem alright, so watering schedule is typically every other day unless they demand more. I’ve been giving them about a gallon- watering in very slowly. I also gave them some tea, which I’ve listed up top. Trying to help their leaves. Maybe this is just normal, but I don’t know, just think it’s too early for colors. The smell I mentioned in another week has gotten louder. I swear I smell spices mixed in there now too. It’s been nice out the past few days so I opened the windows. Oops. Could smell them outside. Smelled like weird spicy food cooking with a side of chemical, gas, and a skunk spraying? Yeah idk lol.
