This plant was quite bushy and I had to get rid of a lot of lower growth, leaves and mini shoots, gave it a pretty aggressive stripping and half ass lollipoping. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through. Well I decided I had to pull the plug on this girl with all the weird weather we've been having. I've been pulling yellowing fan leaves off her for a couple weeks now and with our 2nd heat wave and all the smoke & ash thrown in for bad measure... it's been truly weird. Yesterday was a day for the record books around here - it was so dark I could tell my pets were spooked. Even they knew it wasn't supposed to be this dark in daytime. Probably how animals react to things like a solar eclipse. If they haven't got somebody nearby to reassure them of some sense of normal - the alarm bells start going off. I hadn't really gotten the impression this girl was all that fragrant during the flowering process UNTIL I was washing all that ash off her this morning - then I was like - WOW this stiff is pretty intense in the nose. One thing I'm pretty sure of is that the sun ain't coming out for a couple more days the ways the smoke be flowing around here. We'll see. Two more plants on the patio but they aren't far behind. September 13 >> Debudded the Widow late this afternoon to make space in my shed to harvest Jack Herer in the morning. She was still a little moist as I harvested her 3 days ago - but it hasn't been that hot. The smoke is still hiding the sun and the atmosphere is labeled "unhealthy". Hung her up in my front bedroom to finish the drying process. I should note the passing of reggae giant (many say inventor) Toots Hibbert, of Toots and the Maytals last Friday. I went looking for some pics of the last show I saw him at and coincidentally it turned out to be one year ago today, September 13, 2019 at the Independant in San Francisco. I was lucky to have seem him a few times. So I uploaded about 30 seconds worth of Pressure Drop from that show. RIP Buddy. 😪 ====================================================== September 21 >> Finished hand trimming the Widow yesterday while mostly listening to the last round of the US Open. In September... while they're playing Stanley Cup playoffs too. Very weird time.... both these things normally happen in June every year. The buds weighed in at basically 8 ounces (227 grams). The trim came in at 325 grams - and in this case I use the Trimbag - although I don't think she was really dry enough to get proper function outa the bag. I still spent over 6 hours hand trimming the remainder AFTER the Trimbag in this case. It wasn't really a problem because I had like 10 hours of US Open coverage for 4 days to burn thru. In the process of turning all that trim into hash at the moment... because I'm all configured to go at the moment after making Wonder Pie hash last week. I'll stick it in the garage to dry for a few days and add the weights later. One thing I've noticed that's probably pandemic-related is 90% isopropyl alcohol has become very hard to find (haven't had to look for like 6 months because I had a couple bottles that lasted). I've used it to clean my glass bong/dab rigs for years. 70% is there - but even that now it's like you have to ask for it. Week 5 update 🌱🔥 — the tent is looking full and healthy! Main plant is wide and strong after topping + LST, really starting to show her structure. The second plant is still smaller but holding steady, pushing new growth and showing good recovery 💪. Feed mix this week: Corex + Eldex + Terra + CalMag + Bud Candy + Mira + Terpinator (~1400 ppm @ pH 6.0). Watering to 10–20% runoff each time keeps the coco clean and roots thriving. Temps holding steady around 27 °C with RH 60–70% 🌬️. Leaves are praying hard under the Spider Farmer G3000 with no signs of stress or burn. 💡 Grower Tip (for Thailand growers 🇹🇭): If an RO system isn’t convenient, you can use the local street purified water machines (1-1.5L = 1 Baht). Cheap and clean enough for coco grows without the heavy tap water ppm.

Hallöchen 👋 die Damen sind 56 Tage alt und gehen in die 9 Woche! Für die purple banana wird es wohl die letzte Woche sein und bekommt nur noch Wasser! Das Riesen Banana Monster braucht noch !! So wie auch der rest im Zelt , anscheinend werden die beiden nicht so purple aber geil! Die Papayas legen nun auch richtig Los und seltsamerweise wird eine Papaya purple 😋. Day 15 the start of week 3. I have defoliated a couple times. Once before I scrogged, and once after today. I am planning on feeding another round of Gaia Green Power Bloom and All Purpose with worm castings. I have also watered with molasses and recharge. Pheno 1 is my favorite so far. She is the second tallest plant. She is the frostiest so far. Darker leaves and more color. The other 2 are similar in colors. Pheno 2 is the tallest, and pheno 3 is not behind much only a few inches shorter. I also shoved a few small pots in the corner of gorilla gas and another random seed I found on the floor hahaha.

De nuevo, actualizamos semana, me da que será última semana de crecimiento, y pronto abonaré para floración, en la quinta semana deberían estar tirando pelos ,mostrando su preflor y su sexo. Temperatura y humedad controlada, ph siempre regulado esta semana aportamos el resto de la gama Gold para entrar en floración en breves. These girls are getting close to harvest. Calyx closed & swelling up, most of the pistills turned orange/brown & are starting to curl in. Waiting on delivery of a new 60× microscope to check the trichomes , buds are very frosty. Have stopped feeding nutrients & have started flushing with plain ph'd water. Then reduced watering to twice a day so there not taking in as much moisture before harvest. Probably starve them of water completely for a couple of days to bring out more moisture, & apparently THC. A lot of smell about them. Very sticky!

2.24.2024: Start of week 5 from seed. Started to flower last week. Nothing done today. Still no nutes given, still scared to defoliate. Plant is 15.5 inches tall and looks healthy. Light is 11 inches from the top and at 75% power, 112 watts. I'm clearly no expert and i'm sure there's something i should be doing(feeding) but she's chugging along. 2.25.2024: Day 37 from seed. She's so healthy, and the budsites are producing a ton of white hairs. Some of the fan leaves have purple stems and a dark green color which i think indicates something with nitrogen but she's rolling along. Still no nutes given. 64oz of 6.3ph. 19 inches from soil. Can't tell if watering lowers the soil level but since i haven't touched the light height, i'm assuming its upward growth. 2.26.2024: Day 38. Small bit of upward growth. Will feed tomorrow for the first time at 1/4 strength nutes from the fox farm trio and maybe some calmag. 2.27.2024: Day 39 from seed. Finally fed the plant, albeit small amounts. Foxfam trio at 1/4 strength of the week 5 dose plus calmag. 64oz of the solution at 6.5ph. 2.28.2024: Day 40 from seed, 36 from sprout. Humming along. Bud development is going nicely. 21 inches in height. Light at 75% 9 inches from the top. 2.29.2024: Day 41. 96oz at 6.5ph. Another .5 inch of growth. Sitting at 23 inches from soil. Bud sites are clearly defined with tons of long white pistils. At first glance, she's the winner between the two in the tent so far. 3.1.2024: End of week 6, day 42 from seed. Plant is healthy as far as i can tell. Some yellow leaf tips, some burnt leaf tips, and most likely some nitrogen toxicity but shes taking it all well. Lots of learnings so far. FFOF probably isn't ideal but its working. I've got half a bag left so i'm stuck with it for the next cycle or two. I bought the fox farm trio for nutes and given i've only used them once, and a few mililiters at that, i feel like those containers are going to last forever.

A couple days early because I have to leave town for a few days. I adjusted nutrients and added CaMg for the rest of the run. Came out to 450ppm, PH 6.3

These are clones that I managed to take from my summer garden that became a disaster due to a heat wave that we had breaking 100 year records. I expect everything to be 48” in height at maturity.

This will be the last week i will Feed. I m keeping TDS at 400PPM and PH at 5.8. This week I took out the Silica Blast, Great White and also stoped the CO2. Also I lowered the water temp to 66 degrees. Lights on temp is between 75 and 80 degrees, lights off between 65 and 72. I’m trying to keep humidity as low as possible around 45% week 10 will be flush week.

Planta de crecimiento no muy exigente, no demanda grandes cantidades de agua y nutrientes. En este caso solo apliqué LST y respondió bastante bien. Formó un buen tallo principal y una estructura ramificada y firme. Lo mejor de todo viene en la floración, adivina porque?... COLORES!, alrededor de la 3era semana comienzan a aflorar tonalidades rojizas, púrpura, rosas que deslumbrarán a cualquiera. Sus cogollos son más bien aireados y desprenden un fuerte olor cítrico como a cáscara de naranja intensamente dulce. En fin, una genética de calidad y con una visual hermosa y aromas asombrosos!. En lo personal prefiero los brotes más densos y compactos, pero me encantó todo el proceso de esta hermosa planta, totalmente recomendada!
