☀️ // Day 66 🍁 Chopping Day Every grow must come to an end. I can't be the only one who always gets heartbroken when chopping down the plants. I mean, for 4 months you do everything for the plants that they're having a good life. You cheer every healthy sign from them, you want them to love life and from one day to the other, you kill them. That's just sad, isn't it? I am always telling myself that they're basically become a part of us through the endocannabinoid system, so that's their afterlife, right? Haha Anyway, this was a rather stressful grow. I had major problems with the soil, I just couldn't control it. I think it's because of the Peat Free stuff I mixed in, it somehow fucked up the buffer capabilities of the soil or something like that. But that doesn't matter now, I got it under control, the buds developed perfectly but the leafs are damaged by the tips. So it's not the most beautiful plant overall but the buds are very marvelous. They have a rather unique shape, like a pyramid but with an almost flat head? And their purple hue is just breathtaking. It's a very pinkish purple which I haven't seen by myself until now. I am very happy with this genetic in that regard. But let's see how the buds really turn out. I am aiming for a 10-14 day drying period. With 55% humidty during the first 24-48h with 19 °C. I will rise the humidty to 60 % after that period until the end. In that way, I want to make sure that the critical moisture gets out in the first 1-2 days but after that it should be a very, very slow drying to preserve as much cannabinoids and terpenes as possible. This will be top dress and lollipop week. They’re all healthy and lush. Day 16. Went ahead and lollipopped and top dressed. 3 tbs of power bloom 284 and some honey. Each pot got about 2 liters of top water. Moved the trellis up to later have some stability but probably done tucking.

The flipping of the light is very exciting week 11 is looking amazing. Let the budding begin!!!

10/10/21 new week for CBD spliff berry Growing almost a month now did some topping last week and today started to LST the main everything going great so far plants loving the new FC-4800 so as i absolutely no extra heat is coming of them 👌🏻 I maybe will top some more but as far it Goes for LST this will be the only thing i will do to the plants let the rest grow freely 14/10/21 Growing very nicely giving them the watering and nutrients when they need it . Day 64 - Starting week 10 and didn’t do much with her today. Tucked as much as I can and removed some really yellow and dead lower leaves. The buds are coming along nicely and the smell is starting to get really strong. Day 65 - Took her out and removed some dying leaves from the bottom and cleaned out dead leaves that fell from the top of the soil. Checked the soil and not ready for any water yet so put her back into the tent and retucked a bunch of leaves. Day 66 - Nothing much happening today, still not ready for any water yet. Re-tucked the leaves again to keep the bud sites as open as possible. She’s fattening up nicely and can’t wait for this girl to get done cause I’m starting to run low on meds, though I know she’s still got some time left. Day 67 - Gave the girl about a gallon and a half of water today, she was pretty dry. She’s definitely getting fatter everyday and looking forward to the harvest. Checked the runoff and was a little high, 7.2 but not sure now if it’s my pH pen or if it’s really high. Noticed I’m out of calibration fluid so ordered some today so hopefully I’ll get a more accurate reading after recalibrating. Day 68 - Nothing new to report today, she’s good on water and should have the new pH solution tomorrow so I can make sure my pen is calibrated and reading properly. Did a little defoliating as well. Day 70 - End of week 10 today and nothing much happening except she’s still fattening up and getting a more bluish tint to the buds. Will probably be giving her a feed of nutes tomorrow. I do have a few off colored leaves but mostly at the bottom of the plant so thinking it’s because they’re not getting much light. Gonna keep an eye on her and let her go.

Totally forgot to change the status to flowering haha. 8 weeks in, i see some cloudy trichomes but hope that they will grow a few weeks more for a thicc harvest!

This is the last week of edge then it's time to flip

First week indoors done !!! And they BULK ;) Love it !!! Trichs stacking well, they don't look so leafy anymore and overall it will be nice result with wild forest strawberry flavour ... Finishing indoors - works !!! Middle of the week. Girls drink like crazy, bulks up and looking really nice, just watered and thinking its the one before last one .... Loads of dead leaves, they eat themself nicely and will award me with clean smoke at the end .. Wild forest strawberry smell faded away tho, a bit sad, maybe he is still in the bud . 5th day of week. They are ready !!! Checked all plants, first ambers, even fresh pistils here and there, loads of fan leaves where eaten, plants just finished perfect. Purple colours here and there and full maturity in my eyes. Still one more light watering, 48 hours of darkness and chop hopefully on sunday, next wednesday - latest. Happy growing !

Unfortunately, the plant didn't handle my absence very well. It got way too hot inside the greenhouse, and my neighbor was a bit too generous with the nutrients while not allowing enough runoff (drain). I flushed the plant today—the initial runoff was at a critical 2200 PPM, but I managed to flush it down to a stable 800 PPM. I really hope she recovers quickly now. I have to leave for another two-week work trip this coming Monday, so I'm hoping she bounces back by then so I can leave with peace of mind🙈😀

1/28/24 - Day 83 - Here we are on day 83 and the trichomes are looking good. I bet one week, if not two weeks before I start to flush with water. There are some photos of the Trichomes a couple of weeks ago and then again today. 1/31/24 - Day 86 - The buds are starting to get FAT and grow outward. Tons of new buds coming from the buds. Sounds werid but the buds are growing buds now. The smell is out of this planet strong. Im looking forward to the next couple of weeks!
