Day 50 - Fully recovered from defoliation, starting to show signs of flowering.... Day 51 - Added some pics.... i forgot to turn on the 600w light panel after i turned it off for something... this was during the swap over to flower... so they were on mostly 2700k for afew days... Day 54 - Added some pics/vid, in the sunshine.... looking good, starting to flower..... pics of roots coming out everywhere... might have to defoliate some more..... 😎 Day 55 - Added some pics, they look happy in the light :) The girls are drinking alot, i'm still just bottom saucer watering, and just wet the top soil every few days.... It's alot easy way of letting them drink as much as they want without me over feeding them, The 8 ml/1 lt of dutch master gold one, is approx. working out to 800 ppm and about 6 PH mixed (i just add it until it's 800ppm), and i'm making up a 2 lt bottle of that every few days.... i think i'll have to go upto 1000-1200 ppm soon.... Both girls have root balls fully taking up every bit of room in the pots soil, the roots are coming out the top of the dirt, and out the bottom of the pots.... i'll take some pics of the roots and ventilation/exhaust, this week... The ventilation , exhaust, and filter are working properly, now that i have worked out the proper setup, there is no smell, and it has no impact to the home, other than the size of the tent. Something to notice is the home DIY LED setup i built, and the color in the pics, notice the yellowy sunlight color spectrum of the LEDs .... the details of the lights are in previous weeks...... I really liked these small cool and bright pots!)) I hope Peinkiller will like it)) especially if you take into account the fact that the peat soil in which she was transplanted was enriched with "BioGrow" from "GreenhouseFeeding"!!! I am using this fertilizer for the first time and I am very interested in how it will be in further its growth and development will advance ..) we will see everything together))👌

Did a lot of trimming week 5 and 6. Made room for the buds to fatten up. Starting to smell strong in here. What a lovely day! Also started feeding full strength at 1tsp per gallon of FloraNova Bloom. Mikro used for regular water day.

Day 51: The plant still maturing nicely, and the fade has slowed even though I have pulled nutrients. Buds are swelling and trichomes are continuing to cloud up; Leaves 90% cloudy, 5% clear, 5% amber. Buds 85% cloudy, 10% clear, 3% amber. pH is swinging wildly last few days (6.6-8). Keeping an eye on it and checking twice a day - adjusting as needed. Likely related to having no beneficial bacteria and no nutrients. Day 52: Leaves; 90% cloudy, 2% clear, 8% amber Buds; 90% cloudy, 7% clear, 3% amber Added back in 2mL of beneficial bacteria to the final gallon of top-off water to help with pH control these last few days and work out any remaining nutrient salts in the water or expanded clay. The plant is looking like it will be ready for harvest here in the next few days - maybe day 54/55 harvest. Day 54: Leaves: 85% cloudy, 1% clear, 14% amber Buds: 90% cloudy, 3% clear, 7% amber The plant is definitely looking like it is ready for harvest on 3/4 of the plant. Very top buds are still showing some white pistils - doesn't appear to be fox tailing but looks like the buds are filling out nicely. The colors on the fan leaves are finally starting to show up - some nice purples! Trichomes are turning nicely on most of the buds and leaves as well. Smell changed slightly - I think due to a pH drop in the reservoir (down to 5.0). Day 56: Harvest day I decided to harvest today as the buds were appearing about 10% amber on day 55. Some top nugs had white pistils but still had amber trichomes with the majority cloudy. Ended up with so much plant material for bubble hash, approximately 2 lbs worth wet - straight to the freezer. Nugs worth drying and curing are hanging in the tent. Scissor hash from light trim and cutting, the plant is super very resinous. The smell was incredible and quite potent during harvest until I got the tent sealed back up. Plan to hang for approximately 5-6 days depending on the stem snap test. Targeting 55-60% humidity, 65-68F. Looking forward to getting to taste some in the near future!

Apr 17: 48 hours darkness before harvest, we made it... The calmag deficient one did very well all things considered... Apr 19: looking all cloudy with a hint of amber, im pulling the plug... overipened last time, this should be waay better. Smells like grime and gas idk how else to say it...

The plants have taken to their Earthboxes, especially #1 with the BuildASoil Light. The Earthbox with my Coots mix was the runt, plus I damaged the roots during transplant so it has an uphill battle, but I wouldn't count it out yet. It was looking droopy and with slight discoloration, but after a drench of Kashi Blend Tea (1/3 cup Kashi Blend, 1 teaspoon blackstrap molasses in 1 gallon of water for 24 hours) it perked right up. As for preventative pest management, I've kept doing foliar applications every 4 days of EM-FPE -> EM-1, next week I will incorporate the just-finished EM-5. I made a JADAM wetting agent (JWA) but I have realized even local bottled water is too mineral-heavy for it, so I will need to find a source of distilled water if I want to use it in my foliar regime. Next week I will begin doing LST to get some more tops going. At some point I plan to add a trellis, I have been busy with work but I will find the time to set up something, preferably a trellis that can move with the Earthbox to facilitate maintenance and not have them fixed in place for the entire training and flowering cycles.

08/30/2021 - Noticing more gnats than usual. Could be overwatering, anaerobic soil conditions, or both. - Going to set up fly traps, starve both the plant and the gnats of water for about a week. - Will observe any stress responses due to an extended dry period.

Update time: We defoliated the plants two days ago, and they are developing nicely. 🌿 However, we're currently facing a challenge with the temperature. During the day, it gets above 28°C for about 4-5 hours. Despite our 360 m³/h exhaust system, we can't keep the humidity high enough to offset the heat, and our humidifier isn't powerful enough. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain the tent at 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better. Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure what more I can say that I didn’t say above. Patience, patience,patience! Veg longer with LED because they won’t stretch as much as you anticipate. They are very forgiving to a point and my nutes were organic until the end when I used kool bloom!to increase yield and made them a little unhappy. I don't think I could have got 6 of these in my grow space they need a lot of room and airflow. nice strain looking forward to testing the strength.in my TCHECK METER. 18.2% THCa. lesson learned on pruning airflow and RH all very important I caught the bud rot right away I will keep a close eye on the dry and cure for mold. fingers crossed I will not have it. going to do a sulfur burn in tent and garage to reset for next grow. 000

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. The Strawberry Banana Auto is doing well, she is almost done stretching and I have almost fully transitioned her to flower nutrients. She is currently getting silica, cal mag, and 75/25 veg and flower nute mixture of GH maxigrow/maxibloom. I did change the Medic grow spectrum to the F1 spectrum this week which is the flower spectrum. I am also running the UV/IR bar for about 75 minutes every day before lights off, and I now have the light cranked up to 100%. I will also increase the exposure to the UV/IR light as flower progresses. As she is almost done stretching, there is not much to do this week except keep the reservoir clean, full, and in the proper PH range. If any colas get crazy higher than the others I will correct, but other than that she can do her thing from here on out.
