Platinum Gelato by In House Genetics Harvested in 2021 This is a partial diary. The "week" is relative to 12/12 light schedule. So, "week 5" is 35 nights of flower and not the 5th week of the grow unlike all of my other diaries. By far the frostiest strain I've ever grown. Not a whole lot of flavor, but certainly didn't taste bad, either. If forced to describe, maybe vanilla/creamy flavored. This one looked sexier, but Garlic Storm was better.

WEEK 14/04-20/04 : Just one clone is growing, the others are still rooting. I'm going to select 2 for complete the growing cycle and one to create the new clones, as mother. I'm going to top the fastest soon and check wich one would be the selected for growing. 😀.

Happy holidays to you guys! 420! That's it, my first grov of photoperiod flowering and on organic substrate without fertilizer has come to an end. Today 4/20/2023 is the last day of light, it'll be in the dark for a while, and April 23 will be harvested. 14 full weeks from seed, 8 weeks of flowering. Looking at the trichomes, I'm worried I'm a little overdoing it on blooming, lots of amber heads on top, the middle and lower ones are milky. One spill this week for 6L with a little drainage and the flower stopped consuming moisture, got a little cooler in the house. Waiting for the harvest :-)

Good morning all Day 63 and everything goes wonderfully I think for most that feels the end. Some begin senescence including my gorilla glue from fastbuds and northen light auto from RQS I start rinsing all of my 5 plants except the bubblegum which has not started to flower after 63 days I specify that in terms of performance the blueberry auto of pev seeds and the most prolific it is beautiful. 😍 The gorilla glue from fast_buds is smaller but is not left behind because it is loaded with nitroglycerine 😋 We are no longer far from the harvest I am doing a final defolliation in order to let the light reach the lower heads I think that within a week for some to two weeks for others they will all be harvested What a pleasure for this run even if the weather is long approaching the harvest ... patience is the mother of all the virtues 😉 May the strength be with me 💪 And in french langage Bonjour a tous Jour 63 et tout ce passe à merveille je pense que pour la plupart cela sent la fin . Esa familia, otra cosecha más, no tan contento esta vez la variedad en si está buena pero su cultivo es algo complicado y no está estabilizada la genética, los días de floración son más de 55 días como dice el banco,más de 3 meses de floración con estos ejemplares... Pero mereció la pena esperar el colocón es bastante fuerte, para mi que , sativa dominante a mi parecer, 24% de thc , cruzada entre cookies x OG Kush , muy productora en general. Así esto es todo , pronto más trabajos, buenos humos familia.

These ladies continue to develop very nicely and lucky stopped stretching pretty much in the beginning of this week and the buds are forming super nicely. Since I also don’t observe a stretch in flower anymore, I decided to feed pk13/14 for the next week. It continues to surprise me how hungry these autos are, much hungrier than my glookies fro example. Unfortunately I realized that the plant on the very right of the box produces much smaller buds than the other two. I am pinning that on the fan right above her, so have pointed it slightly higher, but I guess the damage is done:(.

Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14). This week things really seemed to take off! 🔥 Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1” per day if not more. Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on. The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! 💯 It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either. Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3! Day by day break down: Day 8 Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites Day 9 Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136 Day 10 Plants look great. Let them do their thing. Day 12 Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264 Day 14 sitting at 29” tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue. Thinking they might be around 35-40” tall at the max. Stay tuned for next weeks post to see how much these ladies have thickened up!

Bueno pues ya llegamos al final familia, do sweet dos es una variedad bastante productiva. De cuatro plantas casi 180gs y la verdad que bastante contento, no tuve tiempo para poder hacer más fotos y trabajar más este post pero con la prisa y la mudanza pues bueno, bastante e cosechado. Humedad en el secado relativamente baja al 40% y la temperatura estuvo entorno a 23 grados ambientales. Hasta aquí todo familia, os recomiendo también la gama de productos de agrobeta, ya que los resultados son llamativos.

The plants have been receiving around 1300 µmol of light for more than a week. The osmosis water is enriched with fertiliser up to 1.9 ms This value is not expected to rise any further as the plants have become very dark green. There may only be water for a few days. The development up to this point in the 4th week of flowering is very satisfactory. Both genetics have obviously been thoroughly selected.

Since correcting the PH the plant has done wonders. It only sadens me to see how much better this could have been if I wasn't bouncing around 5.0 ph for a little over a week in weeks 3 and 4. Harvest still looking good though coming up in the next 2 weeks. Buds are still extremely compact so I hope mold doesn't become a problem since my humidity is staying around 55, 60%. Trichs are everywhere, the pictures don't do it justice. Everytime I touch the plant my hand comes back sticky lol This will probably be like my first time growing this strain. Not a huge yield but quality bud 100%.

The studio photo session this week captured the exact transformation: the difference between “pre-flower promise” and “flower reality.” From here forward, every day is about bud development, resin production, and stacking density. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – Bloom Formula Dialed In The nutrient program continues blending Aptus precision with Plagron bloom support. The girls are thriving on this synergy—lush green leaves, pistil burst, no signs of excess salts. New Irrigation System – Mars Hydro Foldable Bucket Drip Kit This week, we also welcomed a new tool into the grow room: the Mars Hydro Drip Irrigation Kit (link here). 👉 Important note: I’m not running it on automation or timers. I will manually control it, plugging it in and off when watering. This way, I get the benefit of precise, even distribution, while keeping full hands-on control. What it is: • A bucket-based drip system that distributes water (or nutrient solution) evenly to multiple pots through adjustable drip emitters. • A way to reduce manual hand-pouring and ensure more consistent soil hydration. • A tool that can save root systems from “wet/dry pockets” that sometimes happen with hand-watering. What it is NOT: • It’s not fully automated irrigation (unless connected to timers or sensors). • It doesn’t make plant care “hands-free.” You still have to decide when and how much to water. • It won’t replace observation—plants still speak through their leaves and posture. What to Expect: ✅ More even watering across pots. ✅ Reduced runoff mess if dialed correctly. ✅ Less physical strain compared to hand-watering each plant. ✅ The chance to experiment with “precision irrigation” in future grows. What NOT to Expect (yet): ❌ Fully automated feeding schedules. ❌ Perfect calibration out of the box (it takes a few runs to dial flow rate for each pot). ❌ A substitute for plant observation—eyes on the canopy are still the most important tool. Educational takeaway: Drip systems are bridges between hand-watering and full automation. They give growers consistency without completely removing the grower’s role. For many, this is the sweet spot—technology supporting, not replacing, the human touch. P.S. #2 – Pheno #1 vs. Pheno #2: Different Timelines Another important note this week: the two Mango Kush sisters are not in the exact same stage of flower. • Pheno #1 – More advanced. She is already in full flower mode, pistils bursting, bud sites defined, white hairs everywhere. This is the classic “week 3 flower look.” • Pheno #2 – Slower. She is not yet fully in flower. Why? Because she was germinated later and is effectively running a slightly younger internal clock—closer to 11–13 from seed. 👉 With the 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 off), Pheno #2 is taking her time to settle into bloom. This is not a problem, it’s genetics and timing. Each seed is unique, and sometimes phenos stagger into flower. What this means for the grow: • Don’t expect both plants to bulk at the same time. • Pheno #1 may finish earlier. • Pheno #2 could become the “late bloomer,” giving us a longer harvest window and potentially different terpene expression. Educational takeaway: Not all phenotypes follow the same timeline, even under identical conditions. One may stretch earlier, another may flower later.
