So excited to start a Mephisto grow! I will update once they sprout out of the ground. I soaked them in Ph water for 12 -24 hours. I then put a paper towel in a zip lock and pour the ph water and seed in between paper towel. Put it in a dark warm closet on top of a heating pad on low and usually and wait until the babies pop. Once popped they go into the super soil i prep for them in a 5 gall cloth pot

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. She's growing so fast. Topping didn't stop her, now I'm curious what she'll be up to. Can't wait for her to stretch, although I'm a bit worried that the ceiling in the grow room might be too low...

Now we are in week 8. Plants stopped growing. I will let them grow two more weeks and then I will at least harvest two of them. Depending on the trichomes I will keep the other two for 4-5 weeks more, because I will be away ... traveling lets hope that the sun is coming out again and that the buds get bigger and bigger in the last two weeks. BTW I stopped giving any type of nutrients, just water.

Recovery at its finest, that's what you will see on week 4 around here! Guess who's loving the CO2 with high temperature? Thats right, all plants are! The comparison of last week with this week have such a difference, on day 24 I introduced a DIY CO2 bottle, the recipe consist in: -CO2- 2 cups of sugar 1 tablespoon of yeast 1 tablespoon of baking soda 1 later of warm water Mix all ingredients on a bottle, make a nail hole on the cap shake a little (when shaking put your finger on the nail hole, you should hear a hissssss when you release the hole) use it when lights are on, increase temperature to 30-35C, watch for high levels of humidity, and voila! I haven't started any LST yet, I am waiting for a bit more growth to start bending, I have to make sure all 5 plants will have enough space inside this 2x4 tent. Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. Opening the tent at 8 am and closing it at 8 pm has sent these girls in flowering. Now they are showing resin. I meant to get in here this week and do a final trim/prune, but life got in the way, so I'll get in here in the next few days to do that. Then I'll start pollenating the plants with the males that are already flowering in a different greenhouse. I'll put the clones into flowering today. I just have to place them in the tent when I close it up at 8 pm and take them out in the morning. After 3 weeks I'll put them in the other greenhouse with the males over them and let gravity pollenate them all. Once the clones have been under the males for a week, ... I'll kill the males before the pollen makes seeds in other peoples plants that will be going into flowering this late summer. Ok. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Over all a decent strain...probly would grow again as it didnt perform like the barneys did. Oh well at least I got to harvest it lol. 0lant was nice and tall had good big branches . Next time I'd top it I think

20cm vertical growth this week!! Things going well. Probably entering flowering in the next week.

Une des 2 en retard a redémarrer, la 2eme toujours bloqué et petite , elle grandit pas , les autres par contre sa pousse a vu d'œil je vous laisse voir la différence entre la semaine dernière et cette semaine ou pile 7 jours se sont écoulés, ph 5,78 ec 1,57 , tripart et plagron , amélioration de l'humidificateur d'air ! Et amélioration du vent avec un gros ventilateur oscillant, 30 min on 30 min off pour bien agiter les plante pour simuler le vent et renforcé les branches , amélioration de l'extraction et intracteur d'air avec filtre , passage de diamètre 120 a 200 pour l'extraction et a 150 pour lintracteur, fini les odeurs !

Week 5 of flowering for the three ladies went well. A couple of the hairs started turning orange and shriveling. Tricomb production is looking grand, smell just continues to grow stronger and stronger. Stinking the whole house up even with a 4” carbon filter and fan constantly scrubbing the closet. Ph fell down to the lower 6.1-6.2, plants started yellowing and loosing older fan leaves, could have something to do with them Inching closer to harvest time, also probably has something to do with the slight ph drop, either way sugar leaves, new growth, and bud is all thriving so as long as the problem doesn’t continue to get server I’m not worried about the plant using up nutrients and offing some at this point in time useless lower fan leaves. Popsicle cake is giving off a straight gas/diesel fuel smell. The tallest unknown plant is solid lemons and Kush, and the middle sized unknown plant has a semi sweet but yet gassy aroma coming off her. Very exciting leading into week 6 of flower!
