August 14, day 104 (37f), the Red Mandarine is getting chunkier bit by bit. The canopy is pretty dense, but I have plenty of airflow so it should be alright. It just needs to ripen a bit more in the coming weeks and gain a little density and it should be good to harvest. August 17, day 107 (day 40f), the buds are really putting on weight at the end! The smell is also increasing, along with the lovely red tones. Switched to dry koolbloom for the last week or so, then a short flush and harvest. The Mars Hydro SP-3000 is powering through the flowering stage. Another Great Week Down! The ladies are looking great, these Orange Sherbets are a little ahead of the Six Shooters The stretch is REAL. Hahaha Everything going fairly smooth besides not being able to get this pH down a little. I have burned their tips a few time trying to flush with a high ppm low pH solution. On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

So This week was the same as the last really, It seems all I have to do is sit back and watch these ladies do their thing! Ive not gone full on with the bloom supplements or PK yet as only 2/5 of the GG are seriously flowering. The other 3/5 GG are now Finally showing some signs of flower and some tops are starting to build and lowers producing more pistils each day! The Stardawgs continue to explode, even some friends who were sceptical about the performance of the Quantum board LED's have been flow away by the results. All of the buds seem to be building dramatically top to bottom which no shortage of frost! Macro shots on the way!!

Fun week, things are starting to smell! The forbidden runtz has a fruity smell with some funk on it then at the end its a little candy almost like a gummy or something. The purple lemonade dosent have a lot of smell yet but its there, I imagine as it frost up it'll come out more.

7/12. Sorry I haven't updated. Been working long weeks. So, I got the tent stabilized. Humidity is at a constant 55%. I brewed a batch of compost tea made from fresh compost, worm castings, Urb, molasses, and Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed. I gave each plant about a half gallon each through a sprayer.

The buds on this girl were quite small but they came out veeery dense. The smell wasn't anything special as she was growing but now that she's cured, it smells like a really nice strong indica with hints of citrus. But she was incredibly easy to grow and so quick to recover! Couldn't be happier with the final outcome and really happy about growing this strain!

👉🏽 Day 78 (5/17): Watered for the last time and will harvest on either Day 80 or 81, with 24 hours of darkness the day before harvest. Reduced light intensity to 50% due to emergence of white stigmas. Loving the fade and the whole grow experience with this plant. It's a sticky one, for sure. 👉🏽 Day 81 (5/20): Harvest day! Will be doing a dry trim, so I just removed fan leaves. Now drying in the tent at 75ºF & ≈55% RH. (Will post harvest info/page after drying, since I forgot to weigh her wet.) End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

Absolutely amazed at the growth over the last week. Gave the plants their first (tiny) nute feed at 10 days old, 50% of recommended amounts. No problems with temp after lowering light. GG has the tallest and shortest plants, CC are all way more consistent in size and shape. All plants bar baby GG are on third set of "5" leaves. Keen to start LST soon, will probably top GG1 at around day 21, and play rest by ear.

This week can be simplified as EXPLOSION!! The plant doubled in size and I can see many main branches now, which is pretty awesome!! This is exactly what is LST is for, right!? I am pretty amazed for seeing this explosion in the 2nd week of flowering and cannot wait to introduce the booster when flowers are going to be a little bigger, in around 6~10 days. Now I'm keeping training her for at least 5 days, and then I'll stop so she can focus on flowering. At the e moment I'll stop training her she will also be able to have more space for herself in the tent as the other plant are going to be chopped pretty soon (other diary updated). Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

For weeks 9-10-11-12: It was now May 2020 and the ambient temperatures combined with no exhaust fans were raising temperatures to almost 30 degrees celcius. Way too much. So I rushed to find an oscillating fan and also a so-called inline fan with carbon filter for the smells that started to develop and for exhaust of hot air, trying to control too high temps.

Plants are cruising through and stacking nicely. Brewed & fed flowering tea recipe & plants responded with some smell starting to feel up my tent. Blue Cheese definitely has some funky cheesy & earthy aroma. Afghan kush smell is the most exciting to smell these days as its aroma is something akin to a perfume. Can't wait to see what the rest of this week looks like.
