Hello All. I found some powdery mildew 2 days ago. I went to the grow store Monday and just happened to get some White Wash, frequency changed water. Knocks it right out. In the garden too. I put a disk fan along the roof line, just to keep the air moving. So far the Amnesia Lemon hasn't showed any signs of p.m.. I had to tie up a lotta buds this week. The Skunkberry has dense buds. And the sister of the featured plant was getting heavy too! The Burmberry stood up. I noticed a few yellowing leaves and so added some extra nitrogen, they musta liked it. I was going to this week, take 3- 10 to 12 inch clones I have in veg and place them in the grow tent to start them to flower. and in about 3 weeks I'll put the Dr. Atomic Northern Lights Male and the flowering clones in a different greenhouse and make some seeds. Oh boy! can't wait. I've grown for so long wondering about making my own. O.K. Talk to ya more later. Chuck.

60x60x120cm tent. Basic cheap one not sure what brand, if any. 200w CFL for veg, and a 250w HPS for bloom. Gonna continue with biobizz and maybe a couple of other supplements later down the road. Soil is biobizz allmix. Says pH ready so no need to adjust. Hopefully that's right!

It is in bloom growing each day, I did defoliation the first day of the week and a little more training the LST The first two days of the week I sprayed both plants with BAC Foliar Spray just before lights out.... Every day I put CO2 pellets in a glass of water while the lights are on.

Which means airflow and internal light penetration become critical early. And that’s exactly why this week mattered. ⸻ 🍃 The Defoliation — Not Aesthetic. Architectural. This was not cosmetic trimming. It was: • Removing large fan leaves blocking interior bud sites • Cleaning inner congestion • Opening airflow channels • Resetting light distribution across the canopy • Helping the entire room environment (not just this plant) The room needed air — this plant was advanced enough to handle stress. That’s key. Week 3 of flower is the transition window: • Stretch is slowing • Bud sites are set • Energy shifts toward stacking At this stage, a strategic defoliation: • Improves transpiration efficiency • Reduces microclimate humidity pockets • Prevents internal leaf-to-leaf condensation • Encourages bud site activation below the top canopy This was structural architecture. Not haircut vanity. ⸻ 🌡️ 28°C in Flower — “Too Hot?” Let’s Go Deep. People panic when they hear 28°C in flower. But here’s where most growers confuse: 🔥 HPS vs LED Heat Behavior Under HPS: • Radiant heat warms leaf surfaces directly • Leaf temperature often equals or exceeds room temp • 28°C air under HPS can mean 30–32°C leaf temp • That pushes VPD dangerously high Under LED: • Less infrared radiation • Leaf surface temp is typically 1–3°C LOWER than room temp • So at 28°C room temp, leaf temp might be 25–26°C And VPD calculations depend on leaf temperature, not air temperature. ⸻ 🌿 What Is Leaf VPD? VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures the difference between: • Moisture inside the leaf • Moisture in the surrounding air But if you calculate VPD using only room temp, you’re missing the real transpiration dynamics. With: • 28°C air • ~25–26°C leaf surface (LED) • 65% RH Leaf VPD sits in a very workable mid-flower zone. Not extreme. Not stress-inducing. Not shutdown territory. We’re driving metabolism, not cooking terpenes. ⸻ 💧 Why 65% RH Isn’t Dangerous Here Context matters: • Good airflow • Opened canopy • Compact but cleaned structure • Early-mid flower (Week 3, not Week 7) At this stage: • Pistils are forming • Bud density is still moderate • Transpiration is active High humidity becomes dangerous when: • Bud mass is dense • Internal airflow is poor • Late flower resin traps moisture We’re not there yet. And we just improved airflow with defoliation. ⸻ ⚡ EC 2.9 — Aggressive but Intentional That EC is strong. Decent smoke… Not as good as White Widow but pretty good

So far it looks like I have control of the nute burn looking at the fan leave not burning/changing anymore. Started finish but started at 5pm and my led goes off at 6pm. I kept flushing till 6:20om but stopped due to the fear of the ladies herming, revegging, or anything that would cause my ladies to start off week 7 on a slow/bad start. Defoiling a little but mostly real bad burned fan leave because I believe your ladies will continue to try and repair them which pulls energy from bud developement. Flushed on 6/1/22 and ended on 6/2/22 all 3 ladies ppm is under 200 so I can make sure they have enough to ripen and fatten up. On week 8, I will do a ice flush and then 2-3 days of darkness while they freeze. Checked trichomes on 6-5-22 and some show maybe 10-20% on some colas. Will harvest all 3 on 6-12-22 probably in the morning which I seen and heard it is better because at a certain time in the day marijuana plants let out moisture and you want to keep as much of that as possible.n

Germinated 2 seeds had 50% success [still hoping the other pops up] chocolope #1 doing very well. They are in a 2'×2'×4' grow tent which they will spend rest of their lives as I'm trying my hands at cannabonsai. [Pretty calming] Lights are lowered close to dome to reduce stretch. 7/14: Watered her today. Just plain water. Filled up half gallon jug of water. Filled reservoir back first line. 7/16: Bumped light intensity to 45%. Topped off reservoir at night. 7/18: Watered her today with the the leftovers of some treated water with Rapid Start from her half gallon jug. Prepping for new nutrient schedule next week. I am happy to say it seems like the WCC is responding well to the environment and feeding schedule. So Far So Good!!! 😁 Thinking of possibly starting LST next week. Been another week of crazy stretch for the sugar cane and apple sundae. Been supercropping several branches because they have maxed out my light height at over 4 ft tall. The slurricanes are looking much more manageable and it looks like the stretch is about over on all of them. I switched them over to maxibloom and added a little liquid koolbloom and Beastie blooms to start feeding those flowers. The room is definitely filled up now. just have to keep the juice pumping and see what they do.
