day 58: trichomes are 100% clear. still a few weeks before harvest

Today marks the start of the final week before harvest, and I’ve officially begun flushing the plant. It's really exciting to see how far it has come. The buds have developed beautifully, and the scent is amazing – super fruity and sweet, almost like a mix of berries and tropical fruit. The aroma fills the space every time I check on it. I’m pretty satisfied with how the plant has grown overall. The structure is solid, and the buds are dense and sticky. Everything looks on track for a good yield, and I can’t wait to see the final product after curing. Fingers crossed for a smooth finish!

Now that the plant has started flowering, I defoliated the excess leaf, focusing on apical buds. But unfortunately after defoliation and pressing the lst unfortunately plant b5 breaks the stem in its main apical bud. I was very sad but in life we have to learn from mistakes and stop complaining since the other 4 plants show good growth and vigor we will move on trying to minimize the errors.

The flowering period has begun and we have gone to sodium light. I give more than part A to encourage the plant to make branches

Can definitely tell that the main Tops(oldest) have stopped growing taller, lower branches are still trying to catch up. Tricomes on the top buds are still clear

Week 2 of flower and they have grown fast. Incorporated flower fuel and calimagic into their watering. Definitely getting a bigger tent. They are about to explode I can tell. I had one grow too tall and started to burn from the light so I'm trying to learn more about scrog and hst to help this grow flourish. I also removed a few fan leaves that were dying and some others to allow more light to the bottom.

Die Trichomabdeckung wird immer Dichter! Ich bin immer wieder begeistert von Antonio's breedings. Die Herkunft durch die Ice Cream Cake lässt sich auch bei diesem Strain gut erkennen. Sie verhält sich sehr ähnlich wie die Ice Cream Haze, entwickelt aber schon Mal ein anderes Aroma und die Färbung ist bei ihr auch ausgeprägter! Ein wunderbar süßes Aroma verteilt sich im Zelt. Die Pflanze hat nun eine Höhe von 117cm erreicht. Sie hat eine wunderschöne und homogene Wuchsform. Das bin ich von Dutch Passion echt gewohnt. Tolle Strains! Diese Woche gab es nur Wasser, was vermutlich jetzt bis zum Ende nur noch gegossen wird. 08/26/2020 2nd week of flowering and temps are down in soil to 68° going to be 56 tonight. Put a video of her sister plant. These girls should go another 8-9weeks but our first frost date is around the 10th of October hope for a warm and dry fall. 08/29/2020 got her tied down, snapped the center branch so I tied her stem upright. Gonna give her one last dose of blood meal (12-0-0)before week 3 starts that should be good for the next 4weeks, and 2 tbls of (4-9-3) so my last feeding will be (16-9-3) for the stretching fingers are crossed🙏

Vegetation cycle starts. Light intensity 50% @ 16 inches Nutrient program starts at 50% Green Planet Easy Feed and Week 2 begin Green Planet Pro Feed @ 50%. Abit too much light for the plants finding the sweet spot on a 480watt LED,they recovered well. Still battling high humidity and high temps. 28-31'C 65%-90%. Introducing a new dehumidifier as of next week. Have turned AC on High between 11am-5pm (hottest part of the day) Summer only!

03.03.23: Started in glass of water in a dark warm area for 17 hours when the seeds sank. 03.04.23: Then put them in a damp paper towel for 24/48 hrs in a dark warm area. Checking on them to keep them from drying up. 03.05.23: Seed taproots were 3/4 inches and were ready to go into the pots. I then poked a small hole into the soil with my finger and carefully put the seeds in and gently covered them with dirt. Then sprayed a little water onto them and then covered them with a dome to keep them humid. Now we wait until they pop out of the ground.

Day 72 - 07/01/20 This one was the only survivor of my 4 x RQS diary. my blueberry auto, jack herer auto and GG auto didnt sprout but the diesel did and here is her harvest! I added some nice photos of the plant and the yield was 325g wet weight. Should be over an ounce once its dried. Update - Dry weight was 30g although much of the bud is small :) Ive been curing for a few days and its insane how the flavour and burn changes throughout curing :) Update - Day 78 - 13/01/20 The sweet diesel smell and taste is coming through. buds are becoming more and more enjoyable to smoke as days go by. :) il post a few pictures later tonight! Added the photos of some buds and a video so you can all have an opinion on how my buds turned out visually. let me know in the comments :) Il do a few more curing updates to let you know how the second week of curing goes! Day 86 - 21/01/20 I finally finished the NYCD after about 2 weeks of curing. It smokes fairly well and is definitely the best thing ive grown so far :) Buds developed quality and a sweet earthy diesel flavour/aroma over the 2 weeks of curing. one major improvement i would make is to source high quality soil as i really struggled to flush this properly. even still without lab quality conditions ive never felt so depression free since ive been taking this medicine regularly. to finish up i will say that I liked the NYCD diesel taste but i still preferred sour diesel. The plant grew to a reasonable height around 60cm and produced an ounce of average bud. and I might not have won any GD competitions, but im still a winner! :'D Lucky for us I just started an Sour Diesel Auto from fastbuds so you can check that out to see what i thought of it compared to this one :)

This girl is looking Amazing! I am so excited to see what this plant produces. Does anyone have any tips on what I should do with this plant as far as should I defoliate or "lollipop" it? I've never gone this far before in a grow of photoperiod!?

Формирование зелёного экрана оказалось довольно интересным и совсем не хлопотным занятием - достаточно раз в сутки, а то и реже, загнуть ветки по перспективным направлениям под решеткой. Сломанная ветка таки прижилась, но еще пару дней не буду её беспокоить. В остальном всё ок, по плану ожидаю начало цветения, соответственно вношу корректировки в питание, показатели в норме. В этот цикл я решил включить в питание добавку Delta9, у меня уже есть положительный опыт использования этого стима. Вношу по следующей схеме: -минимум 4 раза, завист от продолжительности периода цветения -первая обработка ≈за 10 дней до начала цветения(через пару дней после включения режима 12/12) разбрызгиваю по листу 6мл. на л. -второй раз как только зацветет, под корень 5мл. на л. (вношу без базовых удобрений) -в третий раз через 10 дней снова обрабатываю по листу 6мл. на л. -и в заключение, еще через 10 дней, лью под корень 5мл. на л. We had 8 straight days above 30 Celsius, below 40% humidity. Plants were on the limit and working hard. Growing outdoor is absolutely an amazing journey but not for the faint hearted 😘 I had to water the plants 2/3 times a day and manage nutrition in between. I was on the edge of overfeeding, some burned leaf tips are visible. They're not finished yet. But chopping window is starting. This week we have thunderstorms and rain. Plants are inside my barn now. I really hope for better wheater circumstances soon. Just a few more of those sunny days please :) We have 90% humidity now. Checking for budrot twice a day. Video is after 8 day heatwave, just before first thunderstorms. The super auto lemon Hazes are growing fastest. Some smell sweet and orange other are pure lemon . Very pleasant. Not provocative. Many phenotypes. These are relatively cheap local seeds. I'm still excited with these girls. So different but all attractive ☺️. The Northern Lights Automatic is going strong solid and is swelling. In looks it difficult to see difference with some lemon Hazes but the smell is distinct and recognisable. The Diesel Automatic is my lovehate. She is doing difficult from beginning and became a small plant with vulnerable leafs. Buds are small but megapotent and impressively characteristic. This strain is far more interesting and layered than expected.
