I knew she wasn’t going to get very tall as they are height limited plants so I vegged her until she was as tall as she would get. I lollipped her to an 18” canopy depth in the third week of flower. She reacted very well and even broke my previous single plant harvest record of 434g set by one of my S1 Acid Dough plants!

The Dr. has been vegging for full 8 weeks and on the 9th I switch to 12/12 . In the next few weeks she'll be stretching even more I guess. If she happens to stretch that wild as I have read, I'll have to struggle trying to stop her taking over my reduced grow room and I don't like to apply serious pruning after she has grown. Besides, my hypothesis is that as I chose a big pot, she might be growing aerially for a long time until the roots tell to stop. Regarding fertigation, I apply once a day a solution 1.3-1.4 mS/cm EC (inflow) using Grow fertilizer alternating with Bloom fertilizer. I'm applying from today on a foliar spray to activate growth at this stage (this week and the two coming next). Day 54 (05/11) fertigation Bloom fert 0.3 g/L, CalMax 1.3 mL/L, VitaMax 1mL/L, pH 6.1, EC 1345 uS/cm and Foliar spray. Iturned on the lights manually as I got up and saw the lights were out. She will have 4 additional dark hours today, but I wouldn't worry. Day 55 today I did some work on rebel shoots and that's all! Day 56 I fertigated with a Bloom fertilizer solution 1.3 EC inflow and 0.9 EC units run/off, I can increase the EC a bit higher until I reach 1300 uS/cm in the roots but as I see her growing fine and without deficiencies, I'll stick to this amount for precaution. Later I sprayed leaves with Foliar fertilizer just when the lights had gone off. Day 57 Today Friday is vegetative fertilizer's day! Day 58 happy Saturday to everyone be it autoflowering or photoperiodic! Thank God for your blessings. Today I had to replace one of the 50 W cob led but fortunately, lights are all shining now. She's been very shiny this morning too. Day 59 I'll put her under 13,5 hours darkness a day.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 2 weeks into flower, and the stretch is winding down. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I will start to add a PK booster this week. I also will be switching to light from V1 to F1 sometime this week, and also integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 90% in the V1 cycle and will be transitioning to the F1 cycle later this week. Overall, the plants seem very happy and healthy. The temperature and humidity is significantly dropping so that helps keeping the tent cool and not overly humid. This is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. Poly Harvest 622g lost about 3g to bud rot as one bud was about to go south due to all the wet assed weather lately. good thing we got her today. Easy trim Wow did winter ever get here fast. Snow this weekend so everything is chopped. Busy busy day Not sure how to amend the harvest to include Zona - 445 grams wet but do what I can She did well and in the end was healthier than Poly. Very slight point of bud rot (cold and wet) perhaps one gram affected. Will update dry weight as I may BTW the dog in the video is named Mater and he loves cannabis, he hangs around when I harvest and eats any leaves I discard. No hes a good dog leaves the plants themselves alone :) Zona 167 grams dry I am good with that on a plant almost cut down lost a few grams to bud rot nothing remarkable given the weather

So far all is well. Left plant is looking great still. Right plant is still the same as it was, kinda "off." I cut the top off the main cola due to light burn. There's just no way that the plants energy it was directing to it was being used well. I'd rather it go to the rest of the plant because there's just no way that initial top was going to produce anything. It was gnarled. I've also noticed something odd going on with a couple of the buds on the stressed (purple) plant. I posted one of the pics in the pics for this weeks update. Looks kinda like bud rot to me but this is also my first grow so I could be wrong. It looks like it's only affecting the pistils. I may ask a question in the question forum just to be sure. It's odd though because conditions in the tent seem to be too dry maybe for bud rot (averaging in the 50-60% RH range and there is plenty of air circulation in that part of the tent. I'm thinking it could either be the plant negatively reacting to me cutting the main top off the other day or it's just the fact that due to the plant being stressed out for the entire grow that it's lost resistance to things like bud rot, etc.. essentially, I'm not sure at all lol.. Both plants are already showing a good amount of trichome production as the plants have almost switched from stretch flowering phase to pure on flowering/bulking phase. I can't wait to see the buds really start to mature and grow and get stinky. Carbon filter so far is working flawlessly. A week ago I was thinking it wasn't keeping up because when I'd come home from work I could smell pot but it turns out it was just my cannabutter supplies that I left out lol. D'oh. I've also been monitoring conditions in my basement over the past few weeks and have noticed that rain or no rain, the conditions down there are an average 66 degrees and 60-64% RH. With my dehumidifier if the conditions down there remain in that range, I should be able to achieve perfectly optimal drying conditions for when I harvest in 4-6 weeks or so. :) I am having a blast so far and can't wait to harvest and then really apply what I've learned online from youtube, here and reddit combined with my hands on experience from this grow to really fill out the canopy next time and also ensure both plants are the same height for some great yield. I'll probably mainline 2-3 plants for my next grow. I also want to eventually get into building my own soil and amendments but for now I'm just focusing on not learning & applying too many things at once. I just know that at some time I'd like to switch from synthetic nutrients to organic. I'm hooked for life to growing though!

Day 17 Seedlings 11/02/23 - week 2

Hey now, this week went pretty good, the buds are about done bulking up, and just waiting on the trichomes, I was really hoping she would be about ready, but I think she needs another week to week and a half total. The buds are rock hard, and super sticky. I have no clue what she will yield because the colas are not that thick, but there are definitely alot of them. I plan to squeeze her into rosin, and hopefully I can break the 25% mark for the first time with her, but we will see. she has 161 days outdoors .... and 98 days of flowering ... a lot of patience ... her smell is still strong ... a smell of mint. to pine ... the smell of indica is felt .. she will give some big buds .. especially her main crown ... she is a champion and fighter with the inclemency outdoor ... I believe that I will cut her on Sunday with 100 days of exact flowering ... but maybe ... I'll check your buds one by one ... I'll try more information ...
