Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. My Grand Turismo plant is one of the smaller ones, but it's definitely a favorite. The leaves are so short and stubby with these cool ridges that make them look really unique. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Day 45-52 (Day 46) I just realized I forgot to zip up a small flap in the tent for at least 5 days or so. This probably made the added co2 useless. All the plants are slightly clawing and almost look overwatered, which is normal for plant at this stage but I wonder if the lower co2 levels are contributing at all. I couldn’t help myself today and did a small defoliation. Hopefully this doesn’t stress them out too much. I took about 15-20 leaves per plant. I really want some of this larf on the bottom fill out more. Even by 10-15%. (Day 47) Wow. I just noticed that #5 is putting on a thick layer of late frost. I’m guessing this has to do with all the mid flower feedings. Unfortunately the density on this girl lacking big time. Especially on the lowers. This could be genetic but there is too many variables at play to say for sure. If this stuff smokes proper I will continue to feed in mid flower. Plants are really starting to fade out here now. #3 in particular has some odd red coloring in a few of the leaves. (Day 48) I watered in 2 gallons on each plant making sure to get some decent runoff from each. Sucks that #3 didn’t fill out. The genetic potential was definitely there, something just went awry after that tea I gave it. I have at least 2 or 3 clones of that I will try outdoors. It’s been a very P hungry plant too. The stems were purpling like crazy, even in veg. Some people say this can be fixed with a microbial product like Mammoth P or Tribus which I might try for my next grow. #6 isn’t really filling out much either unfortunately. Tops look decent but everything under that is pretty leafy and airy. #1 and #7 are the clear winners here. #1 especially is picture perfect. If I wasn’t working on another project after this I would clone just #1 and run another scrog like this from clone. (Day 50) I was plucking some leaves today and I found a confirmed banana sticking out of one of the main colas on the stubby pheno. I didn’t defoliate this one too much so I wonder if it was caused by stress at all. I hope I don’t find anymore because we only have 10 days left here. (Day 52) My family member trimmed up the m39. It looks super scraggly but has some decent crystal nonetheless. That’s partly why I would never use an amazon blurple for flowering. It just doesn’t have the same canopy penetration that a light like mine does. Although for a budget setup they’re pretty awesome.

The buds are becoming every day bigger and hairy and some trichomes starting to develop quite nice. The Smell is not so strong at the moment perfectly manageable by the carbon filter. I'm gonna flush with 20 l at 1.2 EC and ph 6.6 and letting her dry for 5 days and then ill give her a boost of 1.8 EC so that lots of oxygen goes to the roots.

We are 14 days since switching the lights to 12/12 and this one didn't waste any time hitting flower. She is stretching fast and starting to stack on budsites already. Gave them the weekly flush and fresh nutrients. I will be cutting out the maxigro and start them on liquid Koolbloom next week.

Here it is...Fucking bomb id definitely grow again Sadly this was a single bag seed it did HERM but late in the game so the seeds it did make which there weren't many are white and empty....got clones of his jet fuel so we will see the similarities.. Gave me about 3 ounces. Been smoking on it hard so hard to tell hahha aging well has a grapefruit smell that does not inhibit the taste which is fresh flowery chronic similar to a skywalker but much lighter

Hoping these girls start to bulk up soon. This is all organic- just being fed with water, glucose, and the Gaia Green soil bloom nutrient top dressings every other week. Goal is to see what I can do with bare minimum and then press the yields with nutrient feedings in the future. Anyone with organic growing experience - these look normal size for where we are at in flower? I know we have a month or so to go but the roots seem to be pretty compacted at this point in 5 gallons pots. I think I’d go to 3 - 10 gallon fabric pots for next grow. Let me know what works best for you.

Doch da ich in den Kommentaren einen Ratschlag von Bio Tabs erhalten habe, entschloss ich mich heute, die drei Mädels mit etwas chlorfreien Wasser zu gießen. Dazu bekamen die drei Mädels heute noch eine Dusche mit dem Bio Tabs Boom Boom Spray wie vom Hersteller angeben 5 ml auf einem Liter chlorfreien Wasser. Da ich für die kleinen keinen ganzen Liter benötige, habe ich 1 ml auf 200 ml chlorfreien Wasser gegeben. Um die kleinen nicht zu verbrennen habe ich nochmals die Leistung der SANlight STIXX 50 von 60% auf 40% gedimmt. Die Leistung der Lampe von den gedimmten 40% Leistung aufgrund des Besprühens wieder auf 80% Leistung erhöht, da keine Verbrennungsgefahr mehr besteht. So langsam geht die erste Woche der Wachstumsphase um. Und auch die Zeit im Haus des Wachstums neigt sich dem Ende. Die Mädels müssen dort zwar noch nicht heraus, doch möchte ich, dass jede Pflanze auch von Anfang an ihr volles Potenzial entwickeln kann. Die Mädels wachsen täglich weiter. Und haben nun folgende Größen : Frostbanger Auto : 7 cm Z-UP Auto : 9 cm Purple Haze : 7 cm Um nicht in eine Nährstoff Not zu kommen, habe ich heute auch die organischen Düngetabletten dem Substrat hinzugefügt. Dazu habe ich jeweils 2 Tabletten pro 18 Liter Topf genommen und sie mittig, jeweils links und rechts zwischen Rand und Stamm 10 cm Tief ins Substrat gesteckt. Die betroffenen Stellen im Substrat habe ich dann nochmal ganz leicht angegossen damit sich die ersten Nährstoffe so langsam freisetzen können und der Pflanze zur Verfügung stehen. Zusammengefasst: Fotografiert, gemessen, Bio Tabs hinzugefügt, gegossen und zu guter Letzt hier den Bericht geschrieben. Das war's auch schon wieder. Report Tag 14 : Herzlich Willkommen zum letzten Tag der ersten Wachstumswoche. Tag 7 der Wachstumsphase 🌿 Heute schließen die drei Mädels die erste Woche des Wachstums ab. Ich kann mich bisher nicht wirklich beklagen, alle wachsen ohne Probleme. Größen der Mädels: Frostbanger Auto 7,5 cm Z-UP Auto 9 cm Purple Haze Auto 8 cm Und da die Mädchen so artig waren, dürfen sie auch heute schon ins White Castle einziehen. Die Homebox Ambiente war ja schon gereinigt und desinfiziert, doch um nochmal sicher zu gehen, habe ich nochmals das Zelt mit Desinfektionsmittel behandelt. Die drei Mädels geschnappt und sie in ihr neues Zuhause geführt. Jedes Pflänzchen hat sich sofort ihren Platz ausgesucht. Ich habe dann für die passende Beleuchtung gesorgt und die Maxibright DAYLIGHT 300 Watt auf 25% Leistung gestellt. Bei einem Abstand von 45cm machen das 270 PPFD Mikromol/m²/sek. Die Abluft auf das Minimum eingestellt um die Luftfeuchtigkeit bei 70% halten zu können. Umluftventilator von TroTec auf niedrigste Stufe eingestellt, 360⁰ Funktion eingeschaltet und auch auf und abbewegungen eingestellt, damit die Luft im Zelt zirkuliert wird. Viel Spaß im neuen Zuhause Mädels 🎉🏰💚 Damit verabschiede ich mich aus Woche 1 des Wachstums. Siempre digo que será la última defoliación y termino defoliando más, ahora a qué crezcan un poco más antes del cambio 12/12 Veg46, las plantas están ya recuperadas y creciendo a buen ritmo. Veg48, riego con solo Sensizym y Sensi CalMag, con pH 6.3 y EC 0.8, drenaje de EC 1.9 y pH 6.1(ok). Debido al crecimiento de debe ajustar amarras y quitar una que otra hoja.

Week 8 Conditions: 25°C - 60% humidity Light Ts 1000 x 2 - 80% -18h/24 6 différent strains give different plants. 2 groups: — AK 47 / Bubble Gum / CaliFunk (Serious Seeds + THSeeds): good development with training and topping. Pretty Canopy with lots of ramifications. — Sour Glue / Green Punch /Royal Gorilla (Medical seeds + RQS): plants look less healthy, less vigorous and developed. 2 reasons of Stress for plants: some Aphids are in the culture. May be I imported this pest with my outdoor session…Shit. I treated with Soap and Neem Oil, putting sticky traps. A few leaves and young shoots are burn . Don’t think about light burn: I didn’t exposed plants to the light after spraying treatments. I reduced light to protect plants but light deficiency cause damages too. I feed the plants for the first time with growth nutrients: may be it caused a nitrogen excess. The soil is very rich and doesn’t need more nutrients. I flushed with clean water and let the plants recovering one more week on vegetative cycle. The Green Punch is the most injured, the others 5 are relatively safe. Did a 2nd topping on AK47, Bubble Gum, Sour Diesel week 7

Everything went well, the humidity was a little high because it was in an unsuitable space, but the plant is very strong and evolved well even after defoliation.
