10/02 - DAY 69 - Staying on course. Aromas are getting strong even with the exhaust & filter running 24/7. - Mo is still drinking 2 Gal every ~36hrs. All buds are getting their purple on without low night temps.

I went in scared that I would screw this up and waste money. I kept learning and fell kore and kore in love with it. Now I’m building a room and already growing 7 plants moving to 20 🙏🏼😝

Starting my first grow in the new tent with my first Night Owl seeds. Grabbed these from seedslocker a few months ago and they've been sitting in my seed vault in the fridge since. Popped them in a glass of water at 8pm on 10/18. Broke out the AC Infinity propagation system and added a bit of RO water to some coco pucks. About 24 hours later they sunk in the glass and had opened up a bit with root peaking out, so into the pucks they went on the evening of 10/19. No real movement on 10/20, turned the heat pad off because they were a little warm. Morning of 10/21 the first Compound V was starting to pop through the soil, 2nd one followed a couple hours after and before noon all 3 were making their way out. Opened vents on the dome to let them breathe a bit more. 10/22 continuing to grow really strongly, looking good. 10/23 some roots out the bottom, time to go into the tent. Transplanted and seem happy, dialing in the temp and humidity and airflow, some odd higher temp days still around this time of year with some heavy fluctuations but it will normalize out. The tent has been stood up and cooking a bit w/ the lights blazing and a dehumidifier running to dry out our soil a bit. Had issues with fungus gnats last grow and I'm trying to prevent that this time. Ordered some beneficial nematodes as a line of defense and sprayed soil with a good soak of neem oil as a precaution after drying out. Sticky traps show no gnats so far. Soil is Coast Of Maine Stonington Blend Aeration Formula, a 70 / 30 Coco / Perlite blend that I've used before. I have Coast of Maine dry nutrients and Fox Farm liquid nutrients, will likely try to stick to the dry nutrients unless fungus gnats emerge again. Soil is in 5 gallon fabric pots. I added 2/3 cup of Stonington Blend Plant Food and 1/3 cup of Wiscasset Blend Earthworm Castings to each pot along with some Mycorrhizal Fungi spores and worked it in. I have been using the AC Infinity self watering bases but as I'm running 6 total plants this grow I've ordered the new Vivosun self watering bases to compare them.

Great after the mold issue during clone. Recovered good and nice yeild 4.4 Oz tops and mids 3.8 g of rosin and a few Oz of trim to process but man is this stuff good

- Sensi Seeds Research The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. - 7 weeks in soil (week 7), this is where the ScrOG is a good method to keep on vegging your plants without getting too tall, saving space for the future stretch. Indoor growers are limited by the ceiling, this is the best way to keep on growing roots, more roots more fruits 😉 Sensi Seeds strains are perfect, it’s a pleasure to grow such genetics, everything is going like expected, each plants are doing their thing very well and dose respond marvelously to the plan, in time with no delays due to shitty or sick and weak plants ! 👍 - For the beginners : Setup the first trellis on the top layer, then lower each corners to the bottom level, smashing the plants and the 2 main stems to the third node where the topping has been done (see previous weeks). You will gain approximately 30cm of growth, and you will be able to keep on vegging them without getting to tall, as mentioned more roots = more fruits, and you will avoid long legs (don’t grow legs!!! They will have to be trimmed later on) where all the popcorns and small buds tend to grow. Remember, you are here to learn how to knock a ball out of the park, this method is complete, you avoid plants getting too tall and finishing with your buds too close from the light, killing all the essentials oils and terpenes (you will kill flavors and scents), you avoid to grow legs finishing with tall plants and just a ball head of canopy, you avoid small buds and popcorns by applying the incoming method in the next weeks where you learn how to clean your legs . Then , once you smashed the plants with the first trellis (you’re supercropping by doing this bro) , the junction of the stalk (at 3rd node) will probably split in half, no worries it will heal by itself. You just need to put second trellis on top ! -Watering and feeding, that is the question ? 😄 I’m looking the leaves lol 😝 They are around 2l every 4 days at this stage , I’m not watering until drains come out for the moment, I’m keeping all the good stuff inside the pots another week or two. (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 🐞)

Buds are getting denser, stickier and stinkier this week. Defoliated a few leaves from each plant throughout the week. Watered every 2 days with a 1/4 gallon to each. They got a mild compost tea beginning of the week to boost the microbial life and their final top dress towards the end of the week. Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Added a photo to show where I take RH/Temp measurements from in the tent, pretty much inside the canopy. Went lower on EC this week to give the plant a little time to regenerate and pack some more before harvest. The dehumidifier is pulling less and less moisture out of the air every day, this is a additional sign to me that the plant is nearing its end. Will harvest the plant next week, maybe on Christmas :) Values are average of the day.
