My Rainbow Melon plant is still one of the biggest in the tent, and it's definitely the smelliest so far. The only thing I'm not crazy about is how big the leaves are getting. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Well it’s the beginning of week three of flower for my girls. They look and smell magnificent. They all have flowers and the pistoles are bright white. I need to defoliate them again I think. And I was advised I should remove all the lower flowers, all the ones hiding and not getting much light. Will it be ok to just let them grow and just keep removing the larger fan leaves that clog up light getting to the lower parts of the canopy? Regardless of stem size currently my branches each have 5 or more flowers on them. Will the returns from taking away those lower flowers be worth it to the tops ? Will trimming flowers off my girls at this stage in their life hurt them? I feel like I should let them be and just pull the leaves that clog up light dispersion. I need to feed them this week. I really think the girl a like the emerald harvest nutrients, I had followed their portion chart up till the slight burn then cut back on the scale a bit. Instead of feeding for six plant I’ve been feeding for four with the same amount of water. I’m very happy and excited for this grow, this has been quite the learning experience for me. I hope everyone’s grows are goin well and wish you all a great harvest.. Oct 19. Heavy defoliation and small flowers pulled from all of the girls. Hopefully they dont take it hard and recover well. I should be able to let them go and not worry too much about smaller flowers taking away from bigger ones now. My hands smell amazing. I hope these girls turn out best as they can now.

4/28 Day 35 I wish this plant was bigger. Could be my fault. Her transition to flower was at such an odd time(3weeks) and that’s when her last feeding was coming to an end but should I give her flower nutes early? Do half an half? Or just wait and then give flower? I waited and I shouldn’t have considering that organic inputs take time to feed your plants. Depending on what you’re using. First time trying Gaia green. I do like the ease of it but it would take some adjustments for me to utilize it best. A month between feeding is too long for my impatient ass and it gives me too long of a commitment to not fuck up. I’m also using roots organics with some other plants and I’m really liking the weekly feedings. It makes more sense than a month. What if I have a strain that’s like 10 week flower? Do I just do another dose at week 7 and 8 and then because it’s “organic you don’t need to flush” thing. Probably over thinking it but yeah here’s my plant yall 😂

8/31: I fed today..8 gallons split between the 15 plants. Now that the 3 autos are out of the closet, they've all got a little more elbow room. 9/1: Lotsa frost and aromas now.. 9/4: Fed today, rotated edge plants, plucked off some yellow and dead leaves, and sniffed them up really well..😋 I started germinating the next batch of beans today, so these bitches need to get busy... 9/6: One of the FFT4's is starting to ripen up and show some senescence, and one of them is showing some potassium deficiency... I'm switching over to Cha Ching and will be reducing the dosage of ONE at the next feed. I lowered the lights to be at about 12" on the taller ones and 14" on the shorter ones shooting for maximum PAR for a few days...they'll either blow up really big or burn up really bad 😬

Day 70 has arrived. Did my first flush yesterday. Ppm on runoff was still 1450. Other growers have harvested this strain around day 75. Also cut a bunch of fan leaves yesterday. Couple more flushes and maybe try the 24 to 48 hour dark period to fatten buds up a lil more. Waiting on trichomes. Very happy with 1st grow! Stinky and sticky!

Wie lang das wohl noch dauert, bis die erntereif sind? Und warum werden sie nicht lila? Ansonsten sind sie wirklich sehr hübsch. Wachsen nicht mehr, aber die Buds werden immer dichter. Sie durften angenehm fruchtig. Manchmal wie Fruchteis, abends eher süß aber nie penetrant.

2 GIRLS IN 1 CUP: This round I have decided to grow the BANANA KRUMBLE from GREENHOUSE SEEDS. It is a cross of Banana Punch with the original OG-Kush and said to have a very strong effect, which makes it a good medicine against my chronic backpain! In the catalogue description of Greenhouse it says the buds grow compact with big colas and get a purple coloration. Since I LOVE PURPLE VARIETIES OF CANNABIS I decided to give this strain a go. 😃 I planned on doing 4 plants in a SCROG (=screen of green) with longer veg time to train the plants into my trellies, but all 10 seeds germinated well and grew into healthy seedlings, so I decided to keep 8 instead of 4 plants and do 2 plants per pot --> hence the title of the diary: 2 GIRLS IN 1 CUP ... 😉😜 In my HOMEBOX Ambient R120 growtent I use four 20 liter pots filled with soil amended with BIO TABS nutrient tablets (3 tablets per 20 liter container plus 100 gram Startrex, 6 gram Mycotrex, 2 gram Bacterex) and watered it with Orgatrex (5 ml/liter water). The Bio TABS nutrients are VERY CONVENIENT, after amending the soil I only need to give pure tab-water for the rest of the cycle, which saves me a lot of time. Since the soil is self-regulating with BIO TABS I als do NOT need to measure the ph- or EC-value of my water and adjust the ph-value. No mattter what, pure tab-water is all thats needed from now on...yiiippie. During veg. (4 weeks after germination) I use two SANlight Q4W-Gen.2 LED lamps, which are dimmed to 40% (=no green light on dimmer ON) for the first to weeks and then increased to 60% (week 3) and then to 80% (week 4). At the beginning of flowering I add one Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center of my tent and increase the dimming slowly from 40% to 80% over the next few week. The spectrum and the light intensity of the SANlight LEDs are OUTSTANDING and PERFECT FOR GROWING CANNABIS! Unfortunately I didnt take any pics before week 12, therefore I described the setup here. Now in week 12 (=week 8 of flowering) all 8 plants have developed HUGE colas, which are GLISTENING with TRICHOMES and already show a BEAUTIFUL purple coloration. 😍 You can see an nice overview in the video above. The plants have a sweet smell (like cinnamon with banana) with a gassy and fuelly undertone from the Kush...simply DELICIOUS!

Hello Growers & Tokers! As you can see the girls are looking alive and well! Very healthy green colors so I went ahead and topped all of them. Some at the seventh, others on the sixth node. My plan is to have as an even canopy as I can but I know the two tallest ones are gonna give me some trouble. Looking to have about 6-10 colas per plant. That's about it for this week. 08/11: La troisième semaine de floraison commence enfin on devrait les fleurs prendre forme. J'espère que le stretch est fini car elle est assez grande et doit laisser un peu de place au autres. 08/12: la troisième semaine débute sur une note un peu amer. Certaines feuilles se détériore à une vitesse folle, ainsi que des tâches brune. Premier réflexe GHE essential et cal-mag agent de Canna ce matin. Espérons que les prochains jours seront plus cool et que cela vas arranger mon problème. 08/13: après avoir fait plus de recherche je suis enfin tombé sur un article sur le blog de pevgrow et mon problème correspond en tout point à une carence en magnésium. Je devrais voir voir des améliorations dans les 4 à 7 jours. Et bien-sûr continuer à donner du calmag. Le problème viendrai du fait que je tourne en 24/7 avec les auto's enfin c'est ce que je pense après avoir croisé les conseils et avis des "growers" de GD et certains articles. 08/14: c'est dernier jours ont été intense pour moi, lors de mon premier diaries j'avais déjà eu le même problèmes avec une purplequeen auto à l'époque je n'avais pas de calmag... enfin tous ça pour dire merci à la communauté growdiaries.com qui m'a conseillé et supporter. Maintenant cela c'est stabilisé et n'atteint aucune autre feuilles, les nouvelles feuilles sont belles et viguoireuses. Me voilà rassurer et surtout j'ai encore appris de nouvelles chose sur la cannabiculture 😎😨🤓 08/15: elle a créée une belle masse de feuilles entre temps, je vais appliquer une grosse defoliation après le prochain engraissâge histoire d'être que les carences ne sont plus d'actualités. À part cela je me contente de couper deux feuilles par jours. #46 08/16: tout est rentré dans l'ordre ouF :D - la production de trichromes à bien commencé, une légère odeur typique à la weed qu'elle que soit la variété en début de flo. se dégage de la growbox. je suis enchanté! Maintenant j'epère que le switch d'engrais càd changer "BioBizz bloom/topmax" pour "Canna PK13-14/Boost Accelerator" vas lui plaire à la jolie dame #47 08/17: apres une de nuit de réflexion: arrosage/engraisser (canna calmag (.6ml/L)/BB blom-topMax (1.2ml/L chaqu'un)/ AN BigBud-BudCandy (1ml/L chaqu'un) ce matin. INTOXICATING GAS

Oh dear, oh dear—almost two weeks have gone by and the cat hasn’t posted an update. I’m so sorry! And apologies for the poor video quality. As you can see, my smartphone isn’t exactly top-notch. Well, maybe MP4 isn’t the best format either. 😂 At least you can tell that things are coming to an end—for three of the four ladies, that is, if you don’t count the Medical Mass. The Eleven Roses, Sugar Black Rose, and Lemon Gazzy are the most advanced at the moment, while the Strawberry Blue has benefited immensely from the recent very warm days with lots of sunshine. If the weather turns out as forecast, I’ll leave them to grow for at least another week. Maybe I’ll take a peek at our little trichome friends. I could pick a little flower from the bottom… just to have a look at it and maybe… try it. xD I’d like to let the Strawberry Blue stay out a little longer. I think another two weeks would really do her good. Since she already looks very sativa-dominant based on her appearance and flower structure, she probably won’t develop quite as thick and resin-covered buds as her counterparts.
