Alright! So she's officially been back on track for quite a while now. She seems to have actually started bud development! So we can officially consider this week 1 of flower. Haven't defoliated her quite yet, but I will later today. So far I've just been training her by bending and supercropping here and there. I've been feeding her nutes twice a week by this point, with a water in between. Not quite at the 1/4gal. per day point. I sense that'll be somewhere between weeks 2, and 3 of flower. She's up to 9-fingered leaves which means, everything's going smooooth as can be. Cheers, and bless you and your garden! 🙌

Week 12 Day 1 humidity has climbed a little higher than I would like due to a big storm we had 2 days ago but will come down over the next few days. The flowering seems to be coming along nicely, no signs of any mishaps yet. Week 12 Day 3 the trichomes are really starting to present themselves already. Only issue I’m dealing with currently is high humidity in the tent (68%) due to the very rainy weather we’ve had over the past few weeks Week 12 Day 7 and the frost continues to come in. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Sat 7/8: - Transplanted a runted Purple Lemonade auto into a small plastic pot (1/2 litre), from 3 gal fabric pot. Put it back in the veg tent where there is more room. It is wasting space in the flowering tent. Suspect over watering early on as issue. - Shifted a Grapefruit auto from the veg tent to the flowering tent to replace the Purple Lemonade. A little early, so it is on a pedestal to reach the canopy. - Planted a Fastberry and a Gorilla Cookie auto. - Harvested 20g wet from the CBD20:1 (8w). Sun 8/8: - Changed light cycle from 18/6 to 20/4. - Fed plants, varying mixture by plant age. CBD20:1 is now only on water at every feed. - Tied main stem down on Grapefruit auto (3w). - Set up endoscope camera to capture the Grapefruit response to LST. - Continued lollipopping Strawberry Pie (5w) and Kosher Cake(4w). Tues 10/8: - both the Gorilla Cookie and the Fastberry seeds popped. I’ve put them under icecream containers in the veg tent so they don’t dry out too quickly. Wed 11/8: - Small targeted watering with no feed. Thurs 12/8: - feed plants that needed to be watered. Sat 14/8: - Harvested the remaining CBD20:1 at 9 weeks, 73g wet - Harvested undersized Lemon Pie at 8 weeks, 26g wet. - Planted a Gelato auto and a Wedding Cheesecake auto from Fast Buds. Trimmed a few bottom leaves to keep them off the grow medium. The difference is huge between the plants..... 6 days must have been affected also by more side roots compared to the tap root poking out. I thought it best to let the roots develop in the hydro garden

plants keep impressing me. cannalope is growing some 16 or 17 petals on a leaf after some weird reveg or stress. it flowered early for some reason. might be because of the bennies and the N abundance. after the weird 16 leafed freak is some good looking regular 13 petaled ones. its gonna be legit. maybe I should clone one of the 13 pedals to keep the pheno. the other colas have the regular 7 or 11 petals. the lemon skunk is flowering nice. I have a feeling its going to be some tasty bud. no mutations or anything weird going on with it. she is looking just fine.

I saw a fly in the tent about 10 days ago. The larvae of these flies feed on the roots of the plant. I first watered it with diluted hydrogen peroxide. then i flushed. now the ladies are fine. 🤓🌱🤓👍👍

I counted the days again and came to the conclusion that I have 70 days full and harvested tonight. Enough brown and amber trichomes are also present. I'm excited to see how they taste and pop. They definitely look and smell very good. What's really funny: From the 2-3 week onwards, I turned both TS1000s up to 100% for 18 hours a day. I just wanted to find out my cap. I used around 100kW/h and €40 less in electricity costs. Compared to my last grow with Feminized and 10 weeks of flowering + Veggy. I wouldn't have expected that. Well... let it dry in peace first.
