Heeey! 👋 It's week two and everything went quite well I believe! The girls are growing and they look healthy! 💪 During the first days this week and while I was checking them I started to think how I could improve (and fix) what I did in my previous grow, specifically the veg. phase. I wasn't the brightest person in my previous grow because I left the lights at their maximum power during this phase to increase the overall heat of the tent (it was a winter where I live) and while that idea made total sense to me at that time later I found out that was a not the best idea at all 😰. By doing what I did it meant my plants were receiving way more energy they could handle and that meant the plants didn't grow as much as they could 😱😭 So, how could I improve that this time? The best way was to get a PAR meter so I could measure how much light my babies are receiving but those are expensive so the best option after was using the lux meter (or rather the RGB brightness sensor) that's available in my phone (most phones come with one) and by doing that I get a rough idea how much food my babies were receiving (in lux tho, not the best method but it helps to get an idea) 👌 The first days Pistachio and Matcha were getting about 8000 lux and as the week progressed I ended near 18000. Some websites said that amount was acceptable for young plants (they do not talk about the quality of the light tho). For the next week I plan to reach 24000 lux and stay around that 😊 I also think this week I'll move the girls to a slightly bigger pot and with each transplant I'll keep using mycorhizes (Mico Root are mycorhizes) to help the root development. Started week 3 today. Things don't seem to be going as well. The small plant im not too concerned about. It's always had some problems and I've been beating up on that and trying some early defoliation. The larger one has always looked healthy and now it got really dark green, droopy, and some clawing. Went 4 days without watering, no changes, gave it a big flush PH'd to 6.5. No changes. Lifted the light a hair and switched to 20/4. No changes. Any input welcome. A few people have told me it looks fine but it seems like something I'd wrong.

4 beautiful girls

My nine Week 7 flowers are thriving under the new GrowPro Solutions under-canopy lights. The lights have really brought out some amazing colors in the buds. It's so cool to see how much they've changed in just a day! I'm excited to see how they develop even more in the coming weeks

Pollen was dropping like crazy as the male flowers got ripe and ready. The females got good and coated and fully pollinated. I harvested the males to collect and preserve the pollen. Some dried and I veiled it up. But the bulk majority is still drying up. I left just the bottom portion of the male kicking for some extra pollen well the females throw off. The diary will now begin to focus on the pollinated females. The journey to beans is well under way! Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Explosive growth compared to last week. I topped again, which might be the last time before I allow for some more growth before flipping. Super Impressed, this would be much bigger if I did not delay transplanting for a week and a half, because I had my grow space full! I just started 2 others, unfortunately bad timing as this one's almost to flower, so either I will stretch the veg out for much longer so all plants can flower at same time, or work out other arrangements. So far I'm beyond impressed with Homegrown Genetics and cannot wait to see these beauties flower 😁

Cali crasher has been growing strong. It looks like she wants more calcium. So I gave her a booster in solution. I will see if it continues now after it has been trained good for the week. Another week done not much has happened over the past week nothing seems to be getting any fatter the budz are still small and airy the orange sherbet have got a lot of bud on them but very spaced out the main colas don’t look as if they are going to be anything special but things could change over the next few weeks the big yield aren’t growing like they have done previous these 2 have stayed very short about 50cm not been able to do much LST with them been short both have plenty of budz on them but they are also very small needing these lot to fatten up so I can start on germinating the next lot for Christmas time well thanks for looking till next week 👍👍👍👍👍

These girls are extremely healthy and I'm so happy with the growth so far. I originally only had a mars hydro to 1000 in the tent and just upgraded it to a marshydro fc e3000 and gonna allow them to adjust to light intensity before I flip to flower very happy with these genetics though I feel this yield in gonna be amazing as long as I run its course properly and give them proper attention. The Planet of the Grapes is by far the biggest girl and so happy I ran this strain.
