about 50-80% ranges of humidity in grow area so far, this time I decided to plant seed directly into the pot I'm growing with (5 gal fabric pot) Turned on light as soon as I saw a sprout.
10/29 issues with light timer, hopefully, will even out for the seedlings to get 18/6
10/31 cold front-- temps went from 96 to 70 humidity down to 60% in grow room
11/3 start of week 1 from sprout, temps were high during germ and the beginning of the week but are now steady 70's with lower humidity 40-50%. watering every morning
11/6 light timer is very reliable, 9pm-3am dark hours, fan 24/7 I tried to place the fan where there is some air coming from the roof of the shed, good color and growth, no bugs so far powder diatomaceous earth on topsoil does wonders for prevention...feeling optimistic
thinking of feeding cal-mag sometime this week...looking to get an intake and exhaust set up, so far manual opening of the shed door for fresh air a couple of times a day. New growth is fast and looks healthy green (given the higher temps and humidity lately) 😎
11/11 first day of cal-mag
11/12 measured her at 4 inches today, tropical storm making humidity 100%, reacting well to first feed of cal-mag
11/13 humidity down to 70%
11/15 18 inches from light, not raising it until I see light/heat damage, great fast growth, more diatomaceous earth on topsoil as I found a weird fly bug under one of the leaves. one thing I noticed is my very bottom set of leaves are actually laying flat on the soil underneath them, not sure if there are any risks with that will reassess as she gets bigger
11/16 letting soil dry out, may have overwatered when i gave first feed of cal-mag
11/17 lots going on growth-wise, wouldn't know where to start for LST...might just let her grow naturally. Lower temps and humidity today
11/18 I realize I should be raising the light as she grows and I have a little but not much maybe a few inches, right now it's at 22 inches from soil level, and with my 7-inch plant that would be 15 inches from canopy... no light stress or burn so far
11/19 no change in lights but she's droopy again, still getting used to watering indoors it's different in comparison to watering outdoors or maybe its just me but looks like I overwatered from feed yesterday, 0.25 gal same as last week..might have to cut that in half. we are close to flowering! I don't think she will get any taller but we shall see. Thnkx for the likes and comments I appreciate everyone's thoughts and feedback much love!
11/22 purple haze is 12 inches today, I slightly raised the light so it's 13 inches from the top of her. looks like the start of flowering you can see a few bud sites, things are moving fast, plan to give bloom nutes at start of week 4 in a couple of days, for now waiting for the soil to dry from last watering, humidity spiked 80-90%, temps are about 70-80
11/23 start of flowering, humidity back to 50-60% temps 75-85 looking good!
11/24 First time trying out tiger bloom for flowering period, mixed cal-mag with it, I usually continue with cal-mag until the last 2 weeks or so. had to raise the light a bit she is reaching 15 inches today!
11/26 shes at 18 inches today, moved the light up, reacting very well to the feed a 2 days ago :)
11/28 cut 2 bottom fan leaves, watered a little
11/29 lots of growth, her main cola just keeps stretching!! 21in today, no sign of heat or light stress
11/30 end of week, more defoilation of bottom fan leaves as they are yellowing
12/1 Temps dropped low last night, 50F would be the lowest temp she experienced other than that nutrients today! Watered enough for some runoff, she was drooping a bit in the AM with dry soil so I knew it was time for a good feed/water. So far so good not seeing any deficiencies or problems!
12/3 Temps keep dropping at night, went down to 39F, noticed she was droopy, temps went up throughout the day reaching 80F so big fluctuation in temp, humidity about the same 30-50%
12/4 Temps are warmer and she looks to be enjoying that, also watered about a gal today for runoff as top soil was dry. Light is honestly closer then it should be but I'm not noticing any adverse effects, if anyone has any thoughts on this pls share!
12/6 watered till runoff, shes starting to smell good, stacking some crystals 😍 continued cold nights, warmer days
12/8 Soil still damp from last water, nutrients today or tomorrow, bottom leaves are yellowing, trichomes are forming on colas.
12/10 Fed nutrients today she got enough water for runoff, top inch soil was dry and she just looked hungry as hell, looking to defoilate the yellow leaves pictured, 26 inches today, top cola is 5 inches from light other colas are at least 10 inches from light, now i know why people LST!!! Next grow for sure. seeing some yellow tips on the top fan leaves.. nothing major, but understandably so.
12/13 watered today not too much but top soil was dry, more defoliation of yellow fan leaves, temps and humidity are back up, she smells like skunk so far, hard to describe, definitely getting chunky and filling up the main cola👍
12/14 high humidity 90%, leaves are looking glossy, more defoliation of bottom fan leaves
Not sure if these show nute deficiency or excess, I fed tiger bloom yesterday morning, strong large fan leaves are yellowing and not so much the small finger leaves
In flower this is common for large older fans to die. The plant knows what it needs and what it doesn't. It's showing you that this large fan isn't needed anymore. Pluck it and grow on! 🤘😤
12/15 watered nutrients this morning, humidity is lower 50% 75F, shes loving it! Getting chunky and still yellowing of bottom leaves
12/18 watered today, low temps at night again, 50's and low humidity 30-40, getting frosty!
12/20 things are getting colorful and frosty at the main coala!
12/21 Fed nutrients cal mag and tiger bloom, shes taking more water then usual for some run off- she drank about 3L of water/nut total until run off, cold nights again and colder days ahead
12/22 Things are getting frosty and smelly!! very skunky
12/24 Package received today-huge shoutout to @originalsensible for the outstanding genetics and amazing crew thank you again!
12/28 fed nutrients today, top leaves getting silver/purple-lots of bulk this week very smelly
12/29 shes looking great and changing colors
12/30 just water until run-off, she was thirsty
1/1 warming up big time, have fan on high to try avoid humidity issues
1/4 getting nice and chunky
1/5 harvesting on 1/9 for a full 75 days since seed! overwhelmed with smells of berry and sweet skunk when around her
1/7 top soil was dry-watered her until some run off, defoliated a bit throughout this week with dying and fully yellow leaves
1/9 chop day, branches are hung and drying will update with harvest week in a couple weeks or so my most colorful plant yet, loved growing this one😍
Let this girl go natural and she really grew fast, shooting up with a very large main bud and several branch buds, she drank a lot towards the end, but very low maintenance! Smelled beautiful torwards the end and even better in the drying room. Thanks to everyone on here that commented and supported me! Love growing with this community.😌😎😊
