So first off—- you can see in one of the pics—- I got MOLD! Never happened before! The humidity in Chicago has been crazy! My airflow is good, but sometimes shit happens! The smoke on this is still pretty harsh because the lack of cure. It’s a spicy, earth, pine profile. Not picking up any Sherbert on this lady. More amnesia for sure on this pheno. Beginning of week.. So I went ahead and did a late defoliation.. humidity is sitting too high in the tent.. its been around 50 - 55 % RH but it does sometimes get up to 60% RH.. removing some of these leaves should help lower the RH AND lower the chances of getting mold.. these are gonna be some fat colas.. and those are the ones mold can creep up on.. doing my best.. dehumidifier just cant keep up.. but I also dont run it inside the tent due to the heat that thing and it's transformer give off when it runs for over 24 hours or so.. but she shouldn't mold.. I've got 3 fans inside just moving air.. but of course, sometimes that isn't enough.. but we will see how this goes.. may even add another fan.. keep it on the floor of the tent an point it up.. we shall see! But damn she smells so amazing.. i can smell alot of similarities from the Mandarin Cookies in here.. which also has Mandarin Sunset as a mother.. just as this one does.. but you can smell the skunk along with it.. but not as powerful as the citrus.. aw man the citrus.. love that shit.. I even chewed on a trichome covered fan leaf.. very delicious! So glad I have 9 more of this strain and a few others from ETHOS.. next run may be some Aura Genetix.. I've gotta see what fast versions are all about.. I bougt some of the Peach Bellini.. should be pretty epic.. keep an eye out for that diary after this one! Mid week.. Lower branches are getting plenty of light after the defoliation. The smell is getting intense. My carbon filter has began to smell like shit lol. Not literally.. but it stinks.. maybe like rotten skunk or something.. I've ordered a new one but I took that smelly one off for now.. so the whole block smells like member berries right now till the new filter comes in.. tomorrow. I couldn't figure out what the smell was untill i accidentally got my face into the exhaust fan wind.. smelled like rotten skunky shit.. lol. I guess I forgot things need to be changed out every so often.. just figured "air" running thru it wouldn't make it crap out so fast. Been maybe 8 - 12 months.. something like that. Never used one before this.. but running some ETHOS, it is a must! So citrusy! Purples are slowly coming in. She really reminds me of the Mandarin Cookies I grew.. but I also think the Mandarin Cookies was heavier on the Mandarin Sunset phenotype side.. and this one is pretty similar. Scent, growth, stretch.. but I know I cant say for sure that's what it is.. this is just what I believe is going on. But wow.. such a beautiful plant.. I've had to run a a few twist ties to other branches in order to keep them from flopping over, leaning on eachother and the sides of the tent.. should have scrogged I guess lol.. live and learn tho.. but so far its not too bad.. but this early on shows me what I might have to be dealing with in the next couple of weeks cuz they are beginning to get STACKED! I've said it before, and I'll say it again... ETHOS for the win 🏆 Later that day... Wow.. going back in again and now she smells just like the Early Lemon Berry! Wth! How is that even possible?! She is doing amazing things! Some calyxes are beginning to turn purple. Some of the top leaves are as well. Tried to get some decent pics of it.. but I guess I cant figure the new phone out.. as you can see, some pics are a little blurry. And sometims the capture is delayed behind the flash and I still get a dark pic as if it didnt even flash.. but whatever.. I can't wait to see what she has to offer! Such a gorgeous girlie! So happy and excited for this one! End of week.. Nothing left to do now but feed/water for about 1 more week and she will be ready for the 2 week flush!.. I normally like to just water as normal (without nutes, duh) for the entire 2 weeks and still keep checking runoff.. maybe FloraKleen once a week and then just water till harvest! So far, I am starting to see some milky! Still mostly clear, but that means she is getting closer! So excited! This girl really smells just like the Early Lemon Berry I grew! But still with a bit of sweetness to it too! Aw man I can't wait! Anyways... on to the next week!...

Just found this website. Needed to add my 1st grow :). I'm currently in week 7 flower.

Shortly will be time for curing.

I just added weeks 5 and 6 into one week because I didn't really have time to post last week. There seems to be a problem with my plants that I can't quite figure out. The only commonality that I changed with both plants since the last grow is the microbe Inoculant that I bought from NPK. The Black Afghan that I harvested back in November didn't have these microbes added to the soil and it grew into a monster. I am beginning to wonder if these microbes are stealing food from my plant. Even though these microbes are sold as "flowering" microbes. I'm beginning to think they are starving my plants. Also, I am technically 7 weeks from the flip to 12/12. So I may just be at the end of the flower period for these plants. I checked the Tricomes and they are mostly cloudy with about 5-10% amber. Normally at this point I would be cutting out the nutrients and letting her consume her leaves. However, she has already started to so that and now I don't know what to do. I just don't know. So... lesson learned. Stick to the basic nutes and stop trying to make this job harder than it needs to be. KISS

Performed as advertised, some bud rot bear harvest on #1 but two weeks of fog 8 hours a day will do that. Although in saying that, #2 had zero rot or WPM, so that's pretty impressive considering the season IMO. Harvested after 7 weeks flower, but they were showing reds and wanted to avoid any more issues due to crappy weather. Harvest totals Plant #1. 295g bud and 270g trim Plant #2. 476g bud and 200g trim All fan leaves were removed before drying so trim is mostly sugar leaves packed with THC. Great for hash 👍

16 days transplant to 3.5 gal Dutch bucket with perlite. Auto watered every 6 hrs with newts ppm 680 we will get some burn. It will be ok. Should be mild but strain depending. We She all see who gets upset. They are now in the Greenhouse. So it's up to the Sun and 2 - 1000 watt HPS ( for supplemental light ). Grab a chair and hold on. Don't forget the popcorn.

So this grow came to a finshed but I had a. Few issues that’s held me up from finishing up the diary, but in due time I will reupload it all in order soon. But over all I will also update with a final weigh in of each strain produced so stay tuned 🤙🏻🔥

Lookin good, no more herms so far as I’ve tightened things up hopefully that’s the last of them for good. I installed a 4Inch AC infinity fan and filter as an intake so I have been able to close all of the vents. At this point the leaf strip has proven to be a solid method, I have nothing to compare bud size at this point but just the extra space it opened up is a plus. I’m sure the lowers will be a little more firm and the plants obviously haven’t had to be fed as often as usual so its saving time, water and nutrients. The added microbes have also allowed me to keep my ppm around 1000 instead of 1080ish without any sign of deficiencies. The Mandarin cookies x Dionysus has a little cal-mag issue but that was a trait from the mother which out of 10+ grows all had a cal-mag deficency. Buds are getting bigger day by day. Had to make some defoliation again. My humidity is much too high. 65%. But by very good Ventilation. Hope nothing starts to rot. Specially the days after watering is horrific. Wish me luck ppl

Sadly, this week might be the end of this grow. We had a water pipe break. Flooding in the house. Releasing mold and allergens in the air that are making me have to leave the home. Made worse by floor dryers. Post cancer, my immune system is still weak. I’m bringing in an environmental inspector. I need to find out if the plants are affected. Or, if they would have ill effects on me. 11/28 - I’m going to keep going for at least the experience. I’m not quitting. We will have anything harvested checked. Or, I’ll just dispose of it. I haven’t decided. I can’t find a clear answer on safety issues. Let’s see what happens!

27.10--> They've grown enough. It's time to change the light pattern to 12-12. I will change the light pattern tomorrow. 31.10--> After 12-12 light patterns they started to grow very quickly.
