Week 1 Report: The White OG - Solo Survivor’s Journey Survivor Status: One Seedling Standing Strong 🌱 Our girl The White OG is standing tall and doing her thing! While some seeds may take their time or not make the cut, this resilient little seedling is already setting the tone. With close to 100% relative humidity (RH) under the dome, she’s got the ideal environment to kickstart her roots and early growth. Environment: Humidity Dome Life • RH: Close to 100%, creating that tropical atmosphere where seedlings thrive. Humidity at this level helps keep her cells hydrated, and with a dome, moisture is consistently recirculated. This prevents her from drying out and promotes steady root and leaf development. • Lighting: For now, we’re keeping the intensity low. At this young stage, seedlings benefit from indirect, gentle light, just enough to encourage photosynthesis without causing stress. Future of Grow LED on a dim setting (200 PPFD) does the job, providing the perfect balance for early growth. Water & Nutrition: Keeping It Simple No heavy nutrients this week; she’s working off the stored energy in her seed. The aim is to keep the soil or Root Riot cube slightly moist but not soaked. Overwatering can drown young roots, so light misting is all she needs to stay comfortable and growing strong. Growth Observations: Slow but Steady Wins the Race Our solo survivor might be growing at her own pace, but that’s exactly what we want! At this early stage, less is more, and slow growth often indicates a strong foundation. We’re looking for stable, healthy roots and tight early nodes as she finds her rhythm. 30-01: The first day of week 6 and I already saw a few small flowering hairs on every plant, which means that they are officially in the pre-flowering phase. Now I have to say that I'm not super happy with how they look. I wanted them much bushier. So I started to google and landed in a rabbit hole of info about par, umol and leave light penetration. So i ended up with an order of a Mars Hydro TS1000 and this will arrive next week. they will maybe not grow a lot in this phase but the budds should be wayyy bigger. In the last 3 weeks I will germinate 4 new brain damage seeds and start a 2nd grow report with the TS1000 from germination. 01-02: Today I removed some leaves to provide the heart of the plants with full light again. As you can see the ''side'' bud area's are already stretching upwards to get even with the main tops, in theory I should have 8 bud area's on each plant. When they are almost in full bloom i will add an scrogg net to keep al the buds sides even in height trough there last stages. When it comes to nutrition they have today 1L water with 2ml orgatrex + 2ml plagron terra bloom each plant. This is half the recommended maximum dosage for terra bloom. I will increase the dosage as by week.

First week of flowering was interesting, started scrOG training looks like I’m exposing the plant to grow more cola’s crossing my fingers on this. The aroma of the plant is starting to get stronger.

Hi Cannafam, its all about the microbes! Brewed a tea for 24hrs, of the soil activator 2.6g, fresh organic kefir 100g, EM1 4ml, aquaponics microbes (fresh semi solid fish waste) 100g. and molasses at a rate of 20g per gal. or 5g per Litre. Once brewed add yucca at a rate of 1ml per gal, then use as a foliar spray and root drench. Just thinking I should have added some worm castings to the mix as well. That's next for next week I guess.

I have been using LST in the form of a fan on medium speed to try and strengthen the main stalk of the plant as well as planter rotation to strengthen the main stalk for tie down LST. So far I've been impressed with the rate of growth and the overall experiment. For what it's worth, the growth wth is very very similar to a hydroponics growth. I'm sure as the experiment continues I'll notice some big differences. It does appear to have either a minor potassium deficiency or a little too much nitrogen. Will monitor and update as needed. The above signs may have been trying to indicate the main stalk was weakening from too much weight from vertical grow rate. This would ultimately lead to a fractured stalk. Is this what happened or is it a fungus or disease problem? Plant C sprouted within 48hrs and will be 6 days behind Plant A. End goal of harvest is still 360g from the two plants combined. Both plants are looking very happy regardless of the toxicity or deficiency. Strong strain nonetheless.

Plants look very strong and healthy, the first signs of flowering are manifested. I add Advanced Nutries Nirvana for larger plants and Bud Ignor for more flower spots

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day.
