๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ” Week 7: Trichome Wonderland and Final Push! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ” Hey there! Here's your weekly update with all the exciting developments in my grow: ๐ŸŒธ The Smell is Popping: Week 7 brings a delightful aroma to my grow space. The scents are becoming more pronounced and captivating. ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ƒ ๐ŸŒˆ Colors Galore: The plants are showing off their vibrant colors as the flowers mature. You'll notice burpling on the leaves and the emergence of orange and red hairs on The Queen plant. LOVE IT ! ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŽจ ๐Ÿ’ง pH and TDS Levels: Throughout the entire flower stage, my pH has remained steady at 6.33. That's great! As for the TDS levels, they currently stand at 750ppm and 1150ppm, providing the necessary nutrients for your plants. โš–๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ โณ Flowering Progress: The Queen is proving to be a quick finisher, with only 46 days of flowering under her belt. She's looking almost ready, and it's time to grab my handy DIY microscope to examine the trichomes closely. Keep an eye for the desired level of ripeness! ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŒฟโŒ› ๐Ÿช Oreo Big Stuff: Although not as far along as The Queen, the Oreo Big Stuff will need an additional week of flowering before she reaches her peak. ๐Ÿชโšก ๐ŸŒฟ Zweet Og: The Zweet Og requires a bit more patience. It looks like it will need at least two more weeks before it's ready for harvest. Keep monitoring her progress and let her mature fully. ๐Ÿ•’๐Ÿ‘€๐ŸŒฟ ๐Ÿง Drying Dilemma: Unfortunately, I currently am facing a problem with drying The Queen. She's positioned on the back left side of the grow tent with a scrog, making it challenging to remove her without disturbing the others. It's a tricky situation indeed! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ ๐ŸŒฑ Future Plans: Despite this dilemma, overall, I'm extremely happy with how things are going. No herms or other issues have arisen, which is fantastic news. I'm even planning to do another run with The Queen, as I already have six clones ready to be transitioned into flowering immediately after this run. Exciting times ahead, especially since it'll be my first time flowering clones! ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ That's all for this week's update. Happy growing, lads, and remember to stay high on positivity! If you need any assistance or have any questions, feel free to ask. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Total Days: 70 Flower: 31 Vege growth is stopped or very slow at this point. Might eke out another inch or two. I'll raise the lights as far as they can go soon (only 3-4" for the 650w light on right), but with the higher operating RH%, I've yet to see any pistil burn. The light cycle shift to accomodate the painters definitely stressed 2 plants. One was removed. The second i am retardedly going to keep. I stripped off lower weak buds that had the nanners. Pruned a few weak axilla, too. The nearby plant pistils are lily white, so it should be fine. The pistils will be changing color soon, so that will no longer be a good way to assess the risk going forward. Meh, I know it was caused by light stress, so any seeds not selfed I'll probably keep them. Overall, I'm relatively happy with development. Need to adjust some procedures in next cycle and maybe a few more tweaks in winter 2025-1. Second irrigation went well, but i did find a partially clogged emitter. Probably a plastic bit from hold-punching. With 8 emitters per pot, the overkill makes it irrelvant and the pot wasn't the slowest to finish. A few emitters has some roughly milled inlets. I'll inspect them all over the next couple weeks and replace some as needed. Just realized my new dehum was glowing in my tent the entire time. Luckily the display was facing away but now has a cardboard flap blocking it. If it was fine before, it's even safer now. Photons had to bounce of a wall and travel 5' before it could hit any plant. ----- Early update before end of week upday: So, I've been procrastinating replacing the irrigation setup. It's slowly gotten worse each year (3rd ongoing), but never had the dripper devolve into a dribble. I've been hand-watering 1 or 2 pots the last week or so. Replacing the mini sprinkler heads only fixed 1 of the problem-pots. Think the fittings are leaking on the one that did not improve. All the pvc is gone. All the 1/4" manifolds and tubing are gone. The per plant adjustable nonsense is the worst idea ever as all it does is cause pressure changes and endless tweaking of all the little sprinklers, because changing one impacts all the others, or a speck of dirt might cause a new imbalance that requires adjustments etc - Fucking nightmare of useless repetitive behaviour. Still have the 3/4" ID lead-in, heavy duty, 450psi graden hose with ball shut-off valve and pressure regulator. That is now connected to a 3/4" wye with two 1/2" irrigation tube adapters attached to each end. This forms a loop around the pots with a 1/2" tee per pot that leads to a gate shut-off valve and eight 2-gph pressure compensating emitters - 96 in total. Will do first test run on Sunday. The great thing is that this is all plug and play when I switch to injectors. That'll require some sort of pvc manifold and check valve at the utility tub, but otherwise just connect hose, and it's golden. That's the next step. I'll also re-incorporate the wifi-enabled solenoid valve at that point. Getting rid of the 55-gallon reservoir and pump would be nice. One less thing to maintain (rez) and less things that can break down (pump / powerhead). ------ Sunday Test Flawless first run. Time will tell if they are resistant to clogging, but optimistic at this point. 18psi operational pressure at the irrigation loop. Didn't even need the regulator. The mesh strainer at the pump intake doesn't have the typical, small air-bubble, so the last setup was letting a little air in. The last setup was fatally flawed. Pressure compensating emitters for the win. They didn't even squirt wildly as the air was expelled from empty tubing on first run. Took ~4mins or so. Some pots finished a bit sooner, but that's because they don't drink as much per 24 hours. I can live with that kind of waste. I'll get the timing down to reduce water usage even further. I don't need to wait for every pot to exhibit runoff as that is beyond 10% runoff needs. Might be able to get 4 fertigations before refilling reservoir instead of 3. We'll see. I don't like the minimum ~12-15 gallons sitting over night. It fouls the reservoir faster at low volumes. Anyway, super geeked. They better not clog easily, lol....

Day 29 (2020-06-07): Changed out reservoir (5.6 PH). Picked up some 3% H2O2 so added 3ml/gallon to help combat some of the growth I am getting. Also wiped down the outside of the fabric pots to kill the mold. Did some new LST and defoliation to even things out. CBD Crack is in pre-flower. The G14 might be a bit behind. Day 30 (2020-06-08): Reservoir PH around 5.65. Removed a leaf or two and did some tucking. Day 31 (2020-06-09): PH at 5.8. The G14 Blumat drip tube had gotten stuck in the dirt and was not dripping. Hand watered back to normal. Some slight LST adjustments to even things out and removed a few leaves. Day 32 (2020-06-10): PH at 5.96. Yellow leaf tips on newer growth haven't really gotten any better. I am also noticing some other yellow and brown spotting on older leaves. I am not as worried about the spotting since it is likely related to previous PH fluctuation that has been taken care of but I am now wondering if the yellow tips are something new. Maybe the start of nutrient burn? I do not believe it is light related since I adjusted this a few days ago. Day 33 (2020-06-11): After some helpful advice from the community I checked the calibration of my PH pen and found it off by about .5! This must have happened sometime in the last week or two but would explain the issues since as a result my PH was adjusted way to low (around 4.9 to 5). FIxed pen, flushed plants and changed out the reservoir. Hopefully things will get back on track. Also took the opportunity while I had the plants out to even out the LST and do some more defoliation. Day 34 (2020-06-12): Things are looking OK. I am not sure if the yellow on the tips will go away but it is not getting worse. Reservoir PH is at 5.75. Day 35 (2020-06-13): Res PH at 6.1 but slight smell. Probably will have to change out tomorrow. Things are looking good for the plants. G14 is definitely behind on flowering compared to the CBD.

Fattening week !! Alternating water/nutes irrigations... Gave the plant Top Bud, 2 times this week, using 0.5ml/l each one, but switching BIG ONE AND TOP BUD so: / -WATER- / -BIG ONE- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / -WATER- / -TOP BUD- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / --------------- Seems like @growdiaries did not add Top Bud to the database..So i let you the description below.. Top Bud : is a fattening fertilizer for the flowering stage. It maximum concentration of phosphorus and potassium and its absence of nitrates make it an ideal fertilizer for fatterning, while respecting the good taste of the crop. It is also rich in amino acids that benefit the development of flowers. Dilute at the rate of: 0.5-1ml per 1L of water once a week. Apt to: Its use in hydroponic substrate and coconut fiber. --------------

๐ŸŒฑ Divine Seeds Week Three Veg Report ๐ŸŒฑ Hey, fellow growers! ๐ŸŒฟโœจ Welcome back to our weekly update on the Divine Seeds journey. Weโ€™re now into Week Three of the vegetative stage, and our plants are loving their new environment. The Moon Rock, Opium, and Big Demon are thriving after the transplant, and weโ€™re excited to share the latest developments. ๐ŸŒŸ Week Three Highlights ๐ŸŒŸ This week, we plugged in the Autopots and turned them on, letting gravity do its magic. From now on, weโ€™ll rely on the Regulator and CaMg-Boost in the reservoir. Our soil is rich in organic matter and nutrients, so weโ€™re testing if just the organic inputs in the soil, plus CaMg and Regulator, can sustain the entire run. Letโ€™s dive into the details: 1. Moon Rock ๐Ÿš€ โ€ข Growth: Vigorous vertical and lateral growth, with lush, broad leaves. โ€ข Health: The transplant has boosted its vigor, and the plant looks healthier than ever. โ€ข Notes: Moon Rock is showing exceptional adaptability and strength. 2. Opium ๐ŸŒธ โ€ข Growth: Steady and balanced growth with symmetrical leaf development. โ€ข Health: Opium is thriving, with no signs of stress or deficiencies. โ€ข Notes: This plant continues to flourish with grace and beauty. 3. Big Demon ๐Ÿ’ช โ€ข Growth: Robust and vigorous, with thick stems and expansive leaf growth. โ€ข Health: The transplant has enhanced its already impressive growth. โ€ข Notes: Big Demon remains a powerhouse in our garden. ๐ŸŒŸ Nutrient Strategy ๐ŸŒŸ Our feeding regimen this week focuses on: โ€ข Regulator (0.15ml/L): Helps reduce stress and improves overall plant health by regulating plant processes and enhancing nutrient uptake. โ€ข CaMg-Boost (0.25ml/L): Provides essential calcium and magnesium, preventing deficiencies and supporting strong cell wall development and photosynthesis. Our rich organic soil is packed with biolife and nutrients, so this experiment will test if these organic inputs, combined with CaMg and Regulator, can sustain the plants through their entire growth cycle. ๐ŸŒŸ LED Lighting and Control System ๐ŸŒŸ To support our plantsโ€™ growth, weโ€™re using the Lumatek Zeus 465 Compact Pro LED. Hereโ€™s why itโ€™s amazing: โ€ข Efficiency: Provides high light output with low energy consumption, ensuring optimal growth while being energy-efficient. โ€ข Full Spectrum: Delivers a balanced spectrum of light, mimicking natural sunlight to support all stages of plant growth. โ€ข Coverage: The compact design ensures even light distribution across the entire canopy, promoting uniform growth. Weโ€™re also using the TrolMaster Hydro X controller with its impressive 3-in-1 sensor for temperature, humidity, and light detection. This controller allows us to: โ€ข Monitor and Control: Keep precise control over the grow environment, ensuring optimal conditions for our plants. โ€ข Automation: Automate various aspects of the grow room, reducing manual work and improving efficiency. โ€ข Data Insights: Gain valuable insights into environmental conditions, helping us make informed decisions. ๐ŸŒŸ Key Observations ๐ŸŒŸ โ€ข Plant Response: The plants have responded exceptionally well to the transplant and nutrient strategy. โ€ข Growth Rate: Significant increase in growth rate, thanks to the balanced environment and nutrient-rich soil. โ€ข Health and Vigor: The plants are healthy, with vibrant foliage and strong structures. ๐ŸŒฑ Next Steps ๐ŸŒฑ As we move into Week Four, our focus will be on: โ€ข Monitoring the Autopots: Ensuring the system runs smoothly and the plants receive consistent moisture. โ€ข Observing Plant Responses: Keeping a close eye on how the plants respond to the nutrient strategy. โ€ข Maintaining Optimal Conditions: Using the Lumatek LED and TrolMaster controller to maintain perfect growing conditions. Stay tuned for more updates as our Divine Seeds continue to flourish. Weโ€™re excited to see the results of this nutrient strategy and share every milestone with you on this incredible journey! Happy growing, and may your gardens be ever green! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š #DivineSeeds #WeekThreeVegReport #AptusHolland #MoonRock #Opium #BigDemon #GrowDiaries #PlantMagic #GreenThumb #Inspiration #LumatekZeus #TrolMasterHydroX Germination method ๐ŸŒฑ @thecannakan Genetics @divine.seeds Nutrition @aptusholland ๐ŸŒฟ @aptus_world ๐ŸŒŽ @aptus_es ๐ŸŒ @aptusbrasil ๐ŸŒฑ @aptus_thailand ๐ŸŒฟ @aptus_portugal ๐ŸŒณ @aptususa_officiala ๐Ÿ€ @aptusplanttechnz ๐ŸŒบ @aptusplanttechaus ๐Ÿƒ Ambient controls๐ŸŽฎ @trolmaster.eu @trolmaster.eu.support @trolmaster.support @trolmaster.agro Soil @promix_growers_eur @promix_cannabis LED - @lumatekeu Watering- @autopot_usa @autopot_global Love and attention- @dogdoctorofficial #aptus #aptusplanttech #aptusgang #aptusfamily #aptustrueplantscience #inbalancewithnature #trolmaster #trolmastereurope #trolmastersecrets #Autopots #GreenJoy As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciated and i fell honored and so joyful with you all in my life ๐Ÿ™ With true love comes happiness ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ™ Always believe in your self and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart , be a giver and the universe will give back to you in ways you could not even imagine so ๐Ÿ’š More info and complete updates from all my adventures can be found โฌ†๏ธlink in the profile description โฌ†๏ธ Friendly reminder all you see here is pure research and for educational purposes only ๐Ÿ’šGrowers Love To you All ๐Ÿ’š

Topped her again! I came back to this beauty after almost 10 days of feeling like trash. She was getting the minimum amount of attention, but has stayed strong. I have a couple of Autoflowers to finish up, then I will be transplanting her once she has recovered from the topping to a 7 gallon fabric pot. I will probably try to run a SCROG and see if I can fill my 2x4 tent with the one plant.?๐Ÿค” Conditions have been good, 76 degrees and 60% RH. Temps at night are still pretty cool so I kept the small heater going for now. I will start bringing the EC up a bit over the next couple of weeks to see if I can get her to really feed, she has shown no signs of nutrient burn yet ๐ŸคžHappy Gardening ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‘Šโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ

This week I changed a few elements, I changed my nutes to mills, I used mills on my last grow and had a really good result, I also like the fact that's it takes 1 week to flush, this is because it is made of organic and inorganic compounds and contains less salts. The only reason I didn't go with mills from the start was purely financial, canna is cheaper and doesn't require the expensive "start" additive like mills. The guy in my local shop swears by mills and gave me a bottle of c4 for free so I switched. I also added a greenhouse tube heater as my lights off temp was dropping to around 6c. I'm at 12c now and can live with that. My flowers are forming nicely with small spacing in between each node and I have been bending the branches down to encourage growth. This is going as planned and I'm loving this run ๐Ÿ‘Š

The plant has settled in now, and it's beginning to grow faster now. The stem isn't as thick as that from the Banana Kush Auto I grow parallel, but thanks to the added silica, super solid and rigid. LST doesn't seem like a great option, will probably try FIMing, or maybe Topping. I'll add photos later, that'll show the result of this decision process. UPDATE: I decided to FIM the Fat Monkey, to increase side branch production. ANOTHER UPDATE: I might've taken off a little too much when FIMing, which turns it into topping, I guess.
