On day 1 I did another light defoliation. The plants are progressing as expected. The only issue I'm dealing with is fungus gnats... ugh. I will keep applying BTI weekly until the population is under control. On day 3 the plants are putting out more pistils and seem to have stopped or slowed down their "stretch" phase. On day 4 I'm starting to see some trichomes forming on the sugar leaves, no smell that I can discern yet. I also changed out my reservoir and applied a BTI soil drench. On day 5 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. I also purged my blumat system to make sure there are no clogs as my reservoir has fertilizer particles due to my water heater causing separation. I must keep the water heater on as I am growing in the northeast coming into the cold time of the year and can't have my reservoir freeze on me. On day 6 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 7 I adjusted PH in reservoir to 6.1.

I really like to flush watering till lil run off 15 last days before harvest just to watch the fade green to yellow on the leaves! Tomorrow is the harvest! 75 days of flowering plus 48h dark so 77 days! I'm really proud of the ScrOG I made, did I said that? this is week 5. will make fem pollen from this genetics and seeds. crossing with the queen to make AU79. both bridals very strong. this is very very special, already showing me extreme trics in veg. will veg max time 15-20 weeks. I had issues with neglecting my ph, too nigh causing k issues, not phing down, added a few drops b+ nutrient and will be good with my ph. My rh lowest was 23%, so added more red romaine lettuce seeds, dill to grow so I am not wasting my light. It is dimmed to 60% only CW diodes on, NW IR R UVA are off. Only controlling cool white diodes for veg. More red longer wavelengths light for flower, along with uv. Everything is good, extremly positive with this grow! 2 queens on the right topped

Hello Canna Fam, So the end of week 8 has arrived and the ladies have started to bud up😎 I did a bit of defoliation last night to the Six Shooter and the Girl Scout Cookies as they were very bushy. Hopefully I wasn’t too heavy handed with the plucking and the growth does not slow down too much. The LSD-25 and the Gorilla Cookies are the most developed in terms of bud size and trichomes production but the Girl Scout Cookies is closing in nicely. Alrighty, guys and gals it's another res change and another opportunity to make mistakes haha. All in all, I actually got a lot of helpful advice through the questions forum so a big shout out to anyone that helped with those issues. Unfortunately with the rest of the canopy being somewhat the same height, I decided to leave the lights on 100%. I can't raise them any higher and I just have to better in veg when it comes to keeping the canopy even and encouraging bud sites. I'm super tempted to trim up the top big fan leaves but I honestly am not sure if it would help any at this point in time. I'm looking forward to giving the buds more time to grow though and I'm hoping a surprise myself with a great turnout. I'm still at a loss for when to harvest as far as what to look for with the buds aesthetically. I've heard the trichomes cloudy bit so many times but I guess I just cant tell if I should harvest what's larger done and cloudy then harvest the rest later etc.
