And we have arrived at the magic moment for our autoflowering plants, the Zamnesia elves are working their magic and the buds are composing and freezing in the night. A scent of paradise invades my house now. --- Our Purple Haze is not the fastest of the autoflowering plants but it is composing its flowers very very well and with an excellent quantity of resin. The main cola is practically almost complete now it is time to color and finish swelling for the peripheral flowers. It is a classic of classics and never disappoints in fact this time too it is coming very well. In my opinion we will be ready for harvest in mid-November and it will not be bad at all. ---- Fertilization program - As for the fertilization program, we are in a moment in which we have given a lot of "fuel" and we feel the need to lighten the load of fertilizers. Our technique is not to suddenly stop, from experience we have noticed that if the moment of detachment is wrong the plant goes into deficiency. So when we see the flowers quite ready we start to scale the basic fertilizer a little while keeping the amount of additives and booster normal, by doing so I hope to bring the plant to a gradual natural lightening avoiding aggressive washing with a lot of water that makes you risk mold. A tip never flush with too much water when the plant is very mature and drinks little, the risk of mold increases exponentially. ---- https://plagron.com/en - Alga Bloom - 2 ml/l - Sugar Royal - 1 ml/l - Power Buds - 1 ml/l - Green Sensation - 1 ml/l --- Dehumidifier now runs between 50% and 55% --- Plagron's 100% Organic pack can be found on Zamnesia at: https://www.zamnesia.io/en/11457-pla gron-easypack-natural.html // Strain Description // Ever wondered what Jimi played in 1967? There isn't much more to say about this fantastic strain. Hardy, easy to clone, quick to flower and absolutely delicious in every respect. It resists well to high temperatures, "accidental" over fertilization, and recovers soon after a period of drought. Easy and fast.

A tad late, but on Dec 20th we started flower! The pics and video are all from dec 20. To kick it off we did a small feed (1tbsp) of veg nutrients and over the next few weeks will transition to flower blend. So far she's taken well to the training and looks very strong overall. Cheers til next time -Dj Sunstone

Greetings, fellow cultivators and stewards of the green realm! Week 8 of our Apolo F1's cosmic journey has unfolded with breathtaking speed, as she hurtles towards the final frontier of harvest. Join me as we reflect on this remarkable odyssey, filled with growth, discovery, and the promise of a bountiful yield. Our journey with Apolo F1 began eight weeks ago, a small seedling bursting with potential. With each passing week, she has grown and flourished, defying expectations and surpassing milestones with ease. From the delicate tendrils of her infancy to the lush canopy of her maturity, she has been a beacon of botanical brilliance. As we enter the final weeks of flowering, the floral symphony reaches its crescendo. Buds swell and mature, filling the air with their intoxicating aroma. Each bloom is a testament to the meticulous care and nurturing environment provided by our dedicated community of growers. Together, we have cultivated a garden of wonders, and the fruits of our labor are now within reach. As a testament to our shared passion for exploration and discovery, I've included a time-lapse video of me building an Apolo ship with Legos. This playful homage to our green companion serves as a reminder of the boundless creativity and ingenuity that defines our community. Just as we construct our own little corner of the universe, so too does Apolo F1 continue to inspire us with her growth and vitality. As we approach the culmination of this extraordinary journey, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude. To Royal Queen Seeds ( Love the new Logo by the way ) for providing the genetic star of our green opera, to Aptus Holland for crafting the nutrient symphony that fueled our odyssey, and to the Grow Diaries community for their unwavering support and camaraderie. Together, we have proven that with dedication, passion, and a touch of magic, anything is possible in the world of cultivation. Join me in the final chapter of our Apolo F1 Mission Diary, where we'll witness the long-awaited harvest and celebrate the culmination of this extraordinary journey. Until then, may your gardens flourish, and your green endeavors be ever blessed by the spirit of exploration and discovery. Deliciously grow, without problems - super fine and satisfactory result. Unfortunately I forgot to weigh it wet, but I will update with the dry weight as soon as it is dry - but a good bet is that it has been about 200+ grams wet and there will probably be about 50 grams dry. I have added some videos from before and after, the top cola was cut - and some close up photos ๐Ÿ˜˜ Update: 42 grams in total ๐Ÿ˜ She taste so damn nice, super great !!

Well I have harvested 3 of the 5 Runtz ladies at day 78.The other two took to the training a bit better and have a lot more colas and atleast another week to go.I will post outcome after they dry and I trim.It is rainy season for my area so humidity will be high but I can control it with a dehumidifier.Nice slow dry for these ladies shooting for low 60s in temperatures and humidity Plant. 420 2025 Easter Sunday I have harvested the last 2 Zamnesia Runtz these girls are loaded with trichomes smell amazing and pretty big producers for an autoflower.Thank you Zamnesia and Plagron for sponsoring this journey happy Easter/420 :)

Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. Other factors include chloroplast number, respiration rate, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as plants are often in a CO2-deficient condition. 60x60x18=64800seconds x 700 = 45,360,000moles. 45DLI Exposure to 165 ยตW/cmยฒ of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) light for 3600 seconds = 1 hour, a extremely high, acute dose triggering stress responses and protective mechanisms. . The plant's photoreceptor protein, UVR8, senses the UV-B radiation. This triggers a signaling cascade that activates specific genes to protect the plant from damage. In response to the UV-B signal, the plant ramps up the biosynthesis of protective compounds like flavonoids, phenolic acids, and anthocyanins. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. One study found that acute, high-dose UV-B had a greater effect on genome stability than chronic, low-dose exposure. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.

As usual this Forgotten Cookies๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿช from Mephisto genetics is a beast of a plant! Reaching over 4 foot yโ€™all and 3 foot wide this plant will hands down produce some solid weight! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ Smells of fresh brewed coffee and baked buttery dough are spot on the best way to describe the smells pouring from this autoflower! โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿฅ Closing in on itโ€™s life cycle i will closely start watching trichomes in the next week or two and then begin a good week long flush with 48 hours of darkness! I will start a timer and give the plant some cold night to bring out the plants true colors ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
