Welcome to week 11 of my grow diary. Now it's time for the final sprint. The trichomes are 80% milky. You can tell that the weather is getting worse and worse. I'm thinking about harvesting the plant soon because the weather forecast looks really bad for the next few weeks. Some days it's supposed to rain 20-30 liters per day. That would be certain death for the plant. Let's wait and see how it actually turns out. I have stopped applying fertilizer for now. In addition, watering has been reduced to cause some drought stress and thus stimulate terpene production. See you next week!

Die Candyland ist wahrliche eine wüchsige Sativa mit mittlerweile 52 cm Höhe, obwohl sie bereits einmalig getopped wurde. Ihre Internodienabstände sind allerdings auch sehr groß. Da wird mehrmaliges Topping und vielleicht auch HST angesagt sein. Freue mich darauf sie nächste Woche nach den Eisheiligen in den endgültigen Topf verpflanzen zu können.

Fungus gnats coming with the soil might take the chance to come out now for breeding. i'm waiting with a 9 mm rifle. in the past i found 6 gnats in 2 of 8 x 50 l biobizz lightmix bags coming out of the soil. i could eliminate every single gnat successfully ;) rotating harvest: the little ones will be harvested completely when ready. at this point only the top branches of the big ones will be cut...and the new (basic-watered) pots of the new grow will move into the tent. 2-3 weeks later the secod half of the big ones will be cut and the second half of the new grow will move in... nutes: biobizz / soil: biobizz lightmix bloom,grow,topmax,activera,algamic + aminopower instead of bio heaven (too expensive) individual feeding schedule/once a week: veg: 200 - 600 ppm bloom: 600 - 900 ppm water: ro-water with: veg: 100-150 ppm calmag bloom: 150 ppm calmag

Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Wonder Pie Week five 5th June 2020 Welcome back to my Wonder pie Diary for the Greenhouse Seeds Win a trip to amsterdam Contest. It's been a busy week for the three plants. I waited until aprox mid week (Tuesday 2nd June) to begin some LST And each plant proved to be tricky in one way or another. Plant 1 has very flexible branches that I needed to use tent pegs on to hold down each branch I wanted to train. Plant 2 is very bushy and has quite a few side branches happening so I managed to tie down atleast 6 with some soft wire and left the others to grow a bit longer before I try more LST. Plant 3 was the trickiest because the branches are very stiff and not very willing to bend . I found this out by accidently snapping a branch off. I managed to tie a few down but have the two main branches still growing vertically for the time being. (Wed 3rd June ) Not touching them today and will water tomorrow (Thurs 4th June) Watered each plant with 2 Litres of Water (Friday 5th June) Today I am very happy with the way they responded to the LST all three plants have really bounced back well and look super happy. I have been playing around with a homemade CO2 producer which is very easy to make with household items. Basically I re-used a 1.5l empty water bottle as the container. Then I simply punched a small hole in the lid for the CO2 gas to escape. I then added aprox 7-10 teaspoons of Sugar & half filled it with nice warm water (not too hot) and let the sugar dissolve. Then I added 3 teaspoons of Bakers Yeast and gently shook it all up before placing the lid with the hole in it back on the bottle and placing it inside the Grow tent. The principle of this is that the yeast and sugar react with each other to start "Fermenting" which causes the release of gasses which are made up of CO2. Now whether or not this does anything to make the plants grow any faster is conjecture on my part but I have noticed that the plants look very healthy and growth has been more this week than previous weeks so who knows????? It's worth a try if you have the time and inclination to try it. Well that brings me to the end of this weeks Wonder Pie update. Yoooyooyoo, Wekk 13 got some ups and downs. I ran out of calmag starting the grow and kinda hoped i don't need it. If you have strong LED lights and like to have the light close to the canopy like me i would HIGHLY recommend you using calmag. You can see i got magnesium chlorosis pretty early on and the Plagron basic fertilizer did not provide enough with the low-ish dose i gave (1,2ml/l). I like to grow autos and you can't feed that more than that, it feels wrong to do it with photos haha BUT i did. 2ml/L EACH. and 0,5 calmag which seems enough. But me wanting to try out foliar spray (brilliant idea), because i already could see calcium spots on the leaves. kinda got me some slight toxicity (you can see the tips if you look closely) But she is gucci on calmag i can tell haha. Got a nice green color again and looks very healthy right now. she is drinking about 1-2L a day depends on the weather. DLI was around 35. She will look so good in a few weeks, i can't wait. Well, week 11 has started today 8/15. So blessed to have gotten this far! I'll be flipping the lights tomorrow to begin to start flowering. I have both my tents linked up so I don't have to run two separate exhausts! Now that the stress part is over time to sit, enjoy some puffs and continue focusing my energy! Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️ UPDATE: 8/17 Day one of 12/12 in the books! I gotta say, I always chill with my plants before I turn down for the night and it was strange not doing it last night, lol. So I'm gonna get some green lights! I have an awesome app on my phone called Hydroponics Green Screen Light, it's in the app store for free. Developer in Timothy Johns. It works great but not enough for me. But it is great if you need to go in during the dark cycle for whatever reason. Or you can get yourself a lamp and a green grow room bulb! Lots of bloom spots are popping up everywhere! The smell is getting intense. Smells like lemons/citrus fruits, very sour but earthy. Easy grow so far.🤞🌿🙆‍♀️Video is the girls in their small tent with my temporary DIY ventilation lol. Take a look! 🙏😍❤️🙆‍♀️ Also thinking of starting trellis netting this week, what do you all think? I would be using the 3 inch square netting. Also need recommendations for a grow light for the autoflowers remaining cycle and for future grows coming soon!

Vamos familia, acabamos ya está 3 semana de floración , que bien vamos con este proyecto, vaya color que tienen y cómo se están formando las flores. Os recuerdo que les hice limpieza y posiblemente acabe defoliándola alguna semana más adelante. Es una variedad bastante rápida entre los 57/63 días estará lista. Los niveles de humedad también son los correctos van entre 50%/65% de humedad relativa. Por supuesto el Ph lo estamos dejando alrededor de 6. Hasta aquí es todo, buenos humos 💨💨💨.

Aug 9: Now done three weeks of flowering for Tropicana Cookies EV. She is the youngest plant but also the tallest and looking quite happy. Got the UV led lights from AC Infinity going for the first time. Used these last year and they seem to work. UV lights stimulates trichome production and makes up for weak sunlight this far north. Aug 12: has stretched again but the bud sites are filling nicely. Pistils have started to turn pink. This plant is looking very happy and will likely be a big producer. Added another top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. It has been about two weeks at least since the last round, and this will be the final round. Stopped using molasses about two weeks ago. Great for growing but I don’t want to be smoking sugar. Use during veg stage but only 2-3 weeks into flowering.

Las flores cada vez mas olorosas, ya dejaron de estirarse y están engordando bastante, todo apunta a una abundante cosecha 😁... Abajo les cubri la tierra con bolsas de plastico para reducir la población de moscas, no son minadores de hojas sino mis plantas ya estarían muy mal con la cantidad de mosquitas que tengo. Ahora reduje los riegos a una vez por semana, porque como tienen 80 litros tienen bastante reserva de humedad. Los bichos bolita también se reprodujeron bastante, la próxima seguro subo vídeo o fotos de los bichos que tengo en las macetas.

The holiday season got away from me a bit and prevented me from getting an update in on Monday but the plants are _really_ taking off. There are now visible bud sites and plenty of them. *Full Disclosure*: I've significantly upgraded my light in my flower tent from a Spider Farmer SF-2000 to a Spider Farmer SF-4000 and, as such, I'll likely see my yield take off quite a bit this grow. It's certainly having an impact on the heat in the tent and, subsequently, the amount of time the in-line fan is running; that being said, the plants appear to be responding quite well! The last two grows I've run have fallen off hard (complete and total yellowing/chlorosis and drying out regardless of consistent watering/light/nutes/pH) around week five of flower and, with that in mind, I'm trying to keep this grow as simple as possible. I'm purposely using no advanced grow techniques where I'd usually top, LST, and HST. The only "advanced" technique I'm using is a bit of defoliation but this is mainly just to avoid some of the dense bottom growth that tends to decrease air flow, increase humidity, and take away from more rewarding top-growth. This week, along with replenishing nutrients, I've fully emptied out and cleaned my reservoir. While doing so, I noticed a fair amount of red-ish algae growth which I'll likely address with more consistent cleaning of the reservoir and some sort of additive (I'd welcome any suggestions and dosage if you've got any suggestions). All in all, great progress.

Tanto Shinning Silver Haze como White Widow han tenido un crecimiento estable y sano, se hizo trasplante de recipiente de 0,3 litros a maceta negra de 7 litros aplicando micorrizas, posteriormente se regó con Bio-Grow de Biobizz, a razón de 2 ml/L.
