FIRST ROUND GROWING AUTOS IN A 4X4 GROW TENT.
HAVE 6 PLANTS IN 10 GALLON GROW BAGS.
USED FOX FARM OCEAN, PERILITE, ORGANIC SOIL FOR SOIL MEDIUM.
USING A T5 LIGHT BAR AND A LED LIGHT BOX.
Front runners- bloody skunk, critical mass x ak, dark devil, quarter pounder.
I originally started another dark devil for my little hydro but I did a temp check and it was 108. So it goes in the tent turns out might be a savior thou.
The northern lights & cheese are struggling. The lights seems the soil is too hot for it with burn. The cheese has just always been a runt. Do I just let them grow or do I pull them before wasting more time? Gunna add nuiets here starring next week. I'm thinking about trying biobizz. Thoughts?
Update 1/12/18- I decieded to pull the cheese and Northern Lights they just were not performing like the others and the root systems were not even 2 inches deep at day 14. So we shall see what happens with the other ladies having more room now.
Weekly update. Day 21.
I decided to pull the Northern Lights & Cheese that was not performing like the others.
I started feeding the girls every 3rd day with half dose recommended for Fox Farms. The smell is starting to become noticeable when you open the tent. I just got the exhaust system put together and hung up. These pictures are after their first dose of feeding and getting foliage spray Flower Kiss. Started Low stress training the 3 top performers so i can expose those new cola sites to some light.
I decided to top the Dark devil Hydro plant at the second nod and attempt to mainline her. The pictures are a day after her topping shes recovering like a boss.
The dark devil im leaving alone so i can compare and contrast how well the lst worked.
Coming into week 5. I have the dark devil starting to pre flower. The critical mass x AK is showing either balls or calyx's. I have switched out my LED light for my 1000 watt high pressure sodium light. Boy what a difference that has made. Maybe my LED light sucks or i should have just stuck to what i know works best. I think I will stick to my High pressure sodium and metal halide lights. They get nuiets every 3rd day. I am popping 2 more seeds today 1/25 an OG KUSH & Critical mass. I let the LST ties go so the plants are now bent over and can grow how they like. They are looking wonderful and starting to smell. I gave the fan leaves a trim to expose some more light.
Coming into week 6 I have the Critical Mass x AK who i thought was a male! begining to flower at like 14 inches tall
The Dark devil i used as my control plant is flowering pretty hard.
The quarter pounder and bloody skunk will be flowering any minute. They have grown much taller since i let the LST training wire loose. They are starting to get stinky. I gave them their last round of kangaroots and the last round on veg nuiets on 1/31/18. girls are Still getting fed every 3rd day of watering.
Into their second week of flowering and holy hell. The dark devil is going crazy !!! I can't believe at how fast it's flowering. The buds seem to double in size daily. I am going to boost the feeding to every other watering. Instead of the every third day feeding them. The dark devil i mainlined seems to be on the exact same schedule as the control plant her flowering period happened pretty quickly idk if i would mainline again.
Coming into true week 7. The girls are really impressing me. The buds are stacking nicely. The bloody skunk still hasn't flowered yet she look ready thou. The dark devil is really really showing off she's starting to get that purple color coming in. The leaves are starting to get crystals. The critical mass and ak is showing off and the quarter pounder is getting feathery. Started to feed sugar water to the girls in between feedings.
Checking in on day 56 the girls are flowering nicely except the bloody skunk she's just a bush. Gunna push through till day 63 and start a flush. I started advanced nutrients so they can bulk and finish. Last 2 weeks !!!!
These ladies are looking great! 3 of them got their last feeding last night. Tonight we will start the flush!!! I am so excited i can hardly contain myself. What a journey!
😎Loved her. She was almost thrown away in the beginning because i thought she was a male. She took on this awesome orange color. She smoked super smooth and fresh. I really enjoy her and have another critical mass in the tent growing as we speak.🙏
✌️ Well the time is coming to an end .The critical mass got the chop! Gave almost 3 ounces. The dark devil control plant will get her final flush tonight. She will sit in the dark for 2 days she is coming down Friday morning. The quarter pounder is pushing its finish super hard. She looks so dense and wonderful. The mainline will be prepped to come down next week. The bloody skunk got a clean up and extereme defoliation. I keep thinking shes gunna go into full flower anyday. She is just one very large bush. I am losing patience with her but what can i do. She has gone on too long to cull her now. Things are shaping up beautifully.
I loved her from the beginning to the end. She gave us 85 grams of pure fire India. No training was done on this girl. I can't wait to grow her again. She didn't turn purple but that's okay she shows a little darkness over the others.
Day 86 on this bush BLoody skunk not a single bud in sight since i put her outside she is just growing like crazy she still is getting flowering nutrients but idk mang we will see what happens with her fi anything at all.
I will have dry weight of Quarter pounder in a few days when she is dry.
She grew so big and had such a nice even canopy with low stress training. She smokes really fresh and has a super citrus fresh smoke. She yielded very nice 👌
Sooo the journey continues she got thrown outside started to flower I brought her inside and she re vegged. She is now in the shower on a 12/12 cycle led because idk what else to do😂😂
Day God knows at this point. Way over 120. I changed out the stupid LED light for my T5 that was throwing so much heat in the tent. I'm really hoping this will help her out to flower harder. Who knows 😂
So she was the auto who never could. She lasted for so long and was the worst mutated thing. Photoperiod all the way I don't even know if it was a bloody skunk. Just a epic fail all around we win some we lose some.
@Hellhazard, she's still chugging along. I finally pulled the T5 out of the tent it was pushing temps way too high and out it over their beast. She's flowering awfully slowly. If it wasn't 105 outside shed live out their.
@SadBoyDabs710, Pretty much everything i've seen from his seeds are just unreal. I cant wait to put in my order in a month. I wanna get some Toof decay and some others. Im hoping his shop opens soon so i can order directly from him. Ill give ya follow and see what they can do for you.
@Perth, Yes That is the dark devil that i didnt touch she was my control plant. Just since this picture was taken 3 days ago she has already filled out so much more! I highly recommend. I will be looking into ordering some more of their genetics. The smaller one i mainlined is already turning purple but I wouldn't ever top her again. Thank you! She will be on Day 56 Thursday
@Hellhazard, Jeez i need a cousin like you! Haha. I feel your pain with the colored strains. The dark devil is such fire to smoke i went through it all in like a month. Its my favorite smoke ive grown to date so far. Fingers crossed maybe ill get some color this time . around. IDK with our luck she will be a tasty green bitch again.
@wheedtobeus420, I am doing to pop Dark Devil next round. I sent 7 assorted "red family" seeds to my cousin.. He got 2 red phenos from 7 growing. I really just want a tent of red plants you know!
@Hellhazard, literally I just can't even with her. I prolly pushed her a week behind because as she was flowering outside at the 12. 12 I put her back in the tent thinking she would keep flowering.... Nope. Duh she's a photo. So she kinda re vegged at the top and now she's been back on a 12. 12 cycle since yesterday. I'm starting another dark devil right now
@Hellhazard,yeah I know what you mean. I love autos for a number or reasons but they just work better on my time frame. Always nice to donate. I sent a pack of fem seeds I got on accident as a freebie to a friend I met on here actually. It's a great community. Well fingers crossed they flower before you have to do the light changes. I grow them 20 on and 4 dark.
@wheedtobeus420, Im going to keep mine at 24 hour untill the Black Cream Auto is done...If it hasnt changed by then (around 3 weeks) then Ill switch lighting. It should be pretty massive by then. Hell, I could probably take clones right now.
I might not do autoflowers next. I've already passed along a bunch of seeds...I'm disenchanted with the lack of colour change in the ones I've ran. Was the only reason I went that route because I thought I was going to have Red buds and Blue buds.
@Hellhazard, Yeah i am not pleased. I mean its cool she is so big and all but shes taking up way to much space and time to make it worth it for me. We are so far in we might as well wait until she finishes. Have your tried changing her light schedule to 18-6? Maybe that might give her the push shes needs? I cant change the light schedule because i have so many other stages of plants in growth.

@wheedtobeus420, Checkout TimberGrowLights aswell if your in the USA for a easy setup. I sourced mine from Kingbrite in China, just needed a little bit DIY.
@Hellhazard, yeah i really cant afford the space she is taking up either. We gave her a huge hair cut and almost all the growth has came back. She is showing more pistals now and i dropped my lights so that seems to be helping but i am deff at my witts end with her. She has been left in the dark then ill give her another hair cut this evening.
@wheedtobeus420, I've been doing the same for a week now...shes still vegging but showing more pistals. I cant afford anymore upward stretch room..May have to top her. I have a load of bud sites though..just WAITING for buds unfortunately. I have new COB lights coming across the border also and want to get new sprouts happening. I'm going to germ the Dark Devil this time....Comon BSkunk get on with it now!
@Hellhazard, Thank you! I never would have guessed 3 ounces. I have taken to drastic measures on the bloody skunk i tossed her ass in the dark just to mess with her to see what happens lol.
The Dark Devil looks great! I have some of those beans yet to germ. Seems our Bloody Skuk are the same. I think Im at day 65+ and no blooms. I've been doing 12/12 for 3 days just to "force" it.... Seeing a few more pistals but no bud growth.... Getting frustrated because , like you, its been too long to kill it now.
@wheedtobeus420, I did another defoliation and some LST to the Bloody Skunk yesterday. I am surprised at its age that the branches are still quite green and soft. Im still doing the lighting force, I think its about to show budding. There was a load of greenery and I may still chop more. I'll update my diary today probably. Ordered new lights , going with Vero29 COBs.

Well im glad to hear that I am not in this alone! haha least you can understand my frustration. All i can keep thinking is jesus christ i better yeild a pound from this bitch. I am also glad to hear that the light schedule change isnt really helping because i am not in a situation where i can do 12/12. Thank you the dark devil is coming down tomorrow morning. She is in her dark day 2 today. I gave the bloody skunk such a major defoliation. I cut off sooo many leaves and even the sucker branches who are never gunna reach the canopy. I was hoping to shock her into flower. No such luck shes bulking out already a day later... devil plant.
it will flower like mine, just takes forever LOL.... my girl is looking swell and yours too. If it buds the same as mine your looking at another month for sure.
