10/2: My soil mix was too hot and I accidentally killed 11 of the 12 Fastbuds seedlings I had going. So, I started about 20 Candy Cane hybrids in rapid rooters wetted with myco, tricho, and beneficial bacteria. All but one popped up. One of them did a cobra-basket and petered out. The beans all came from tray trash that accumulated while I was smoking three diff strains, so I probably won't know what they are until they are flowering. 10/4: Looks like I'll have enough growing that I have to cull the weakest few. I can feasibly (possibly) squeeze 14 into the lower section of the closet under 720w if they act right and if I do some training, and another 4 in the top under 200w if I keep them at 30" or less in height. 10/6: I think I'll veg everybody in the bottom section until I'm out of space, then move the shorter 4 or maybe 5 into the top section as necessary...and move the tiniest ones outdoors to finish. I just don't have the heart to kill anything that's got a potential yield of a half-ounce or more. Some of the most diminutive plants I've grown produced the stankiest buds.. I've currently got the 200w 3500k+660nm running at about 32" in the middle of the closet, and one of the 3 pairs of 120w 3000k+660nm quantum boards running at about 36" and should be sufficient coverage for the next week or so. Then I'll kick on the pair of boards closest to the doorway and spread them out a bit..and then I'll move the 200w light to the top section along with the best 4 short plants. At that point I'll turn on the center 2 qb's and install a 2 foot Solacure Flower Power UV light in the perpendicular center channel of my frame. 10/7: I installed my new AC Infinity 6" fan in the attic and hooked up a 16" carbon filter today. I used some sound deadening foam on the rafter that I mounted it to and removed 100% of the vibration. I haven't programmed the thermo/hygro stuff yet, but tested it on high and I can't hear a thing anywhere in the structure.👍 I'm also purchasing a dual 120mm fan system from AC Infinity in the door, behind the grille I already installed to serve as fresh air intake. It also has a thermostat feature that will allow me to set it to only come on when the temps are too high, so I'm optimistic that it will allow me to manage the temperatures in this closet with about 1000w running for 18-20 hours a day.🙏 I moved the 200w 3500k+660nm to the top section today and lowered my QB frame to 32" above the plants. I have two pairs of them running now, and received the replacement HLG 240-48A driver today for the third pair. I'll hook it up later..dont need it now.. 10/8: I fed most of them today for the first time...about 16 oz of solution containing grow big, big bloom, kelp me kelp you, boomerang, and armor si. I hooked up the 3rd pair of qb's today....wow that's bright....they're gonna love it!😎 The last of the sprouts has been planted and is growing. That's a total of 19.... 3 of them still in 1 liter pots and getting plain distilled water. I also foliar fed all of them with a little big bloom and kelp me kelp you. 10/9: I got some Axiom to apply onto them tomorrow. It's got a good amount of Harpin a|b proteins which trigger rapid plant growth and other defensive traits that are proven to be canna-friendly, like enhanced resin production and increased resistance to molds, mildews, and fungi. I foliar fed them today with big bloom kelp me kelp you, and the day following the Axiom application I plan to foliar feed them with Biotabs BoomBoom Spray to negate any initial ill-effects caused by the Axiom. I'll probably just mist them with distilled water for a day or two following that regimen to ensure that it's all rinsed off. But, following that break in the foliar feeding routine, I've got some Fulvic/Humic acid to rain gently over them for a couple of days. 10/11: End of week 1, and I'm happy with their progress thus far.😀 They had no trouble with the "Harpin protein attack" I engaged them with yesterday... at all, and even look quite a bit bigger than I expected. They also had their first "night time* last night...4 blissful hours in 74f temps with 48%RH.💤

Being that this was my 1st grow, I found this strain very easy to work with. It did great with LST and the smell started being pretty strong during early flowering. I completed this grow in a small tent. Now that I have a bigger tent, I would love to grow it again and see if I can get it a little bigger.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. 02/08/20 (Sunday) 9AM - Continuing off of the great progress of last week I decided to take the initiative and attempt 'repairs' to the photosynthesis of my plants with compromised leaves using surgical tape. Unfortunately after one too many readjustments on one of the first true leaves of the SVG I caused some minor lacerations on the leaf; it should be fine though. 11AM - All four plants were fed. 5PM - I decided that it would be more beneficial to just defoliate the first true leaves and start lst on the SVG so it'll have a little more energy to grow the tops. Left the top leaf on the abandoned original stem to help with photosynthesis and not over stress the plant all at once. 03/08/20 The SVG seems to have responded positively to the training and is growing rapidly. 04/08/20 Had an exhausting day yesterday and fell asleep before I could turn off the grow light leading to the plants getting 24+ hours of continuous light. None seemed to be stressed and were immediately put to sleep for 6 hours before continuing their light cycle with a shorter day so they'd fall back on schedule. 05/08/20 The plants enjoyed a new record of 10 hours in the sunlight and are starting to look ready to stay outside for the entire day. Noticed one fan leaf on the Jam had evidence of leaf miners and decided to remove it to free up wasted energy for the plant. 06/08/20 More leaves are showing signs of miner activity so I feel it may be time to start considering an early topping. 07/08/20 I decided to do an early top on all single cola plants at their third from the bottom 3+ leaf node to help control the miner problem. Considering keeping the plants as indoor instead because pests seem to be targeting them in my gallery garden, but none of my other species of plants. Took some advice and squeezed all the leaves on the Jam to kill the leaf miners. 08/08/20 All leaf miner progress seems to have been halted.

Week 7

I spent the week mainly transplanting. I transplanted the Sour Diesels (ILGM) from a Jiffy Pot into a 1 gallon fabric pot.😁 I really didn't have any issues this week everything is going well 👌. The plant(s) recovered 😷 from the transplant like nothing even happened. I would guess in the next week or so I will be transplanting into a 2 gallon pot, depending on how fast she grows. I like to go up 👆 in pot size gradually. I never really believed it made a difference. I would go straight from the Jiffy Pot to my end pot (3 gal, 5gal, whatever). Then I found some 1 gallon and 2 gallon fabric pot at a really good price 😎 so I bought them. I started out just trying a few plants and kept the plants that went straight into the large pots right next to them. To my surprise 😮 I noticed a petty significant difference in growth. Now I figure for a little extra effort 💪 whether it works or not it's worth a shot.

Remaining three plants in the tent have now gone into flush. The Cherry is looking good, the quality looks like it’ll be fantastic, the smell, wow great sweet cherry funk......🤔cherry? Well fruity for sure. Ima enjoy dis girl when she done.😍😍😍

Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.

Hey guys, Looks like we have an early chop on the puur organics side. Not sure if I did anything different but this is a bit ahead of the Bonnie Clyde autopot plant. Same reservoir as last week so she’s drinking a lot less. Time to start getting her ready for ripening. Purr organics fed has been flushed the past two watering days about 3 days apart. Going to chop her this weekend after she gets a day of darkness. Vpd - 1.3 Ppfd - 800

Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14). This week things really seemed to take off! 🔥 Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1” per day if not more. Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on. The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! 💯 It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either. Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3! Day by day break down: Day 8 Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites Day 9 Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136 Day 10 Plants look great. Let them do their thing. Day 12 Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264 Day 14 sitting at 29” tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue.
