Wk8 Flower (2nd week of flower day 15) So this week has been another quiet week. I have been pinching out big fan leaves that are cover multiple tops to persuade even growth over the canopy. I have also cleaned out under her skirt a bit more to get rid of the unwanted and wasted growth. Only water with EM1 has been added to the res over the week she is currently drinking up to 6ltrs a day and growing around an inch taller in a 24hour period. I noticed a bad stagnant smell coming from the res so have added some lacto bacillus serum which should help that settle. Although the plant isn't complaining bad smells normally means bad microbes which in numbers are very bad. She is showing alot of pistols now and I'd expect to see bud sites prominent by end of the week mind you I don't actually think she has fully started to stretch yet! I'm keeping an eye on her closely as next week I am away and was hoping that stretch would have come and gone by now. We will see!! This week I plan to add some water soluable calcium and an alfalfa seed sprout tea. I've started to drop my humidity down every couple of days to simulate change and have my light set at 40cm

The weather is not easy for her. After a few days of intense heat, the temperature is now down to 8 degrees at night. But she is doing great. The first pre-flower signs are also visible.

🍮 Chem Brûlée – Pheno B Week 8 | Opening the Canopy Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 🌱 Chem Brûlée Pheno B continues to show why phenotype hunting is so fascinating. While her sister has remained a little more compact, this girl has continued stretching upward and is now the taller of the two. At around 130 cm, she's developed a beautiful vertical structure with plenty of flowering sites running along her branches. This week, however, she was asking for a little more room to breathe. And we listened. 🌿 A Little Defoliation, A Lot More Light As flowering progresses, some of the older fan leaves had become less useful, creating shadows over developing flower sites and reducing the openness of the canopy. So this week we gave her a light, selective defoliation. Nothing aggressive. No major restructuring. We simply removed leaves that were no longer contributing much to the plant and were blocking light or airflow. The goal wasn't to strip the plant, but to open her up just enough for the developing flowers to receive better exposure. The result is a cleaner canopy while keeping plenty of healthy foliage to support continued flower development. Sometimes defoliation isn't about taking something away. It's about making room for what matters next. 🌼 Flowers Taking Shape The flowers are becoming much more obvious now. White pistils continue appearing across the plant, while the individual bud sites are starting to develop more structure and density. The main tops are becoming increasingly defined, and the secondary flowers are developing nicely along the branches. The stretch is also beginning to settle down. She's still gaining some height, but more of her energy is clearly shifting toward building flowers rather than simply growing upward. The next few weeks should become particularly interesting as those early flower formations begin turning into proper, stacked colas. 🍃 Healthy Leaves, Healthy Plant One thing I particularly enjoy about this phenotype is the contrast between her long, elegant structure and the increasingly developed flowers along the branches. The healthy leaves remain vibrant, while the selective cleanup has given us a much clearer view into the plant. She's taller than her sister, a little more demanding when it comes to canopy management, and now she's opened up just enough to let the light reach where it needs to go. 10/11 111 days old, 42 days since flip and any time now. She is wrapping things up quick. She gets cold at night. The pictures do this plant no justice. She is not green, she is purple. 70s during the day and 60s at night really brings the color out. This strain is supposed to finish in 54 to 60 days. She will not make it to 50 before finishing. Really she looks done now. She was grown in living soil. I added more worm castings, myco and zolmite. That was it for her entire veg stage. She was a beautiful dark green and not one sign of deficiency. All I did was add water. For the flower stage I added more castings and Gaia Green power bloom. Then when she started flowering I added the Fox Farm bloom nuits. Probably didn’t need the Fox Farm but I had it so I used it. She has been on straight water for the past week. I added defoliation even though it’s not really defoliating. The leaves are drying up. I’m pulling them off to let the light go deeper. The Soil Makers, Colchester CT is where I got the living soil from. 10/13 she is almost ready. Watered her last night. Waiting to see is she is still drinking. 10/14 chopped her down, Timber. Did my first trim, took a couple of hours. That was taking my time. She was not that hard to trim. Between being lollipoped and this strain is not very leafy. Trimming was very easy. I chopped her at the bottom after trimming and hung the whole plant. Since it’s the whole plant I didn’t bother getting the wet weight. The whole plant is very heavy, over 5 pounds. Wet doesn’t tell me much so why bother. Going by looks I should net about a pound, give or take. Now I’m going to try and give her a slow dry and cure. Also can’t say harvested until i am able to get some weight.

Day 78. All is good, think next weekend is last day for two Alaskan Diesels. Need to put few pure water waterings through them. Other girls still need food, so I took all N and CalMag away and will keep feeding for few more weeks. Northern Lights are ridiculous behind ... But they were in shade and still trying to achieve something .... Happy Growing !!!

All looking healthy the one strawb banana that didn’t germ ended up sprouting out the soil but I think the shrooms claimed the soil first my bad fast buds smashing it as usual 🤟giving them 24hrs of darkness trying to harden them off for outdoor end of this week hopefully waiting on last bits to arrive for the soil

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there wasn't much change Some new growth..the colas are stacking nicely which is good. Hope they stretch some more still.. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

Moved the tents outta here 😂 switched some ventilation up and added two more dumps, I need to get more fans down here lol these girls look great all day every day, can't wait to see how it goes! They are all loving life, smaller clones have even had an awesome rebound the last few days since they got topped so that's cool. This week went great, started out stripping and topping everywhere I could and ended with beautiful roots going up to three fallon pots, gave a nice full watering to all of the and will see how they drydown tomorrow, I'm gonna guess they won't want water until the day after, I want them to really reach out into their new pots.

- Day 65 (Oct 3) Rose PPM to 1150 by adding another 3 X 8 mL of MGB and 5 mL of Big Bud and topped off 2 liters of water - Day 66 (Oct 4) topped off 2.5 liters of water with 3 X 10 mL of MGB and 6 mL of Big Bud - Day 67 (Oct 5) topped off 2 liters of plain water. PH is corrected PPM measured as 1150 - Day 68 (Oct 8) Topped off with 3 liters of water. Ph was fine. First amber trichomes observed - Day 73 (Oct 13) Topped off with water. PPM is around 900. Thats the max the plant asks for.

Here we go, guys week 3 of flower is starting and she is starting to stack.. She smells wonderful.She's crowning absolutely everywhere, and i'm here for it.. Week 7 of Flower- We have stopped feeding these plants nutrients and began the flushing process. April 4th we will give them 2 days of darkness and then April 6th we will start the drying process.

Day 66 ... the weather get´s more worst too cloudy and cold at night 😱😫😵... so i decide to harvest today 😃👍 Now "Hilde 2.0" is hanging in the dark in the basement and can dry... I'm curious to see how the harvest turns out 😃🙌🙏
