Beginning of week... She is doing her thing.. Slowly but surely lol.. Healthy as far as I can tell.. Maybe the reused coco is too reused? Idk. There is a bit of coco/perlite from my first grow in there lol.. Some others too.. But she is still truckin along.. Went up on the Armor Si (Silica) and a little on the FloraGro.. She does look like she is gonna beginning flowering very soon tho.. Pistils are forming slowly.. Much like the rest of this grow.. But she is starting.. I'm not going to start counting flower till I actually see that she is flowering.. Stretching and all.. That's how I like to count flower.. Always seems to line up perfectly when you count flower that way.. Even with photoperiods.. Not from the 12/12 flip because there is still 2 weeks of transition. Anyways.. Another week in the making... Next day... So my Mars Hydro is crapping out. I have to drop it down to 20 inches from the canopy and run it at 75%.. So pissed.. It glows when it is powered off and still plugged in.. And if I turn it on while the power is set to 100%.. It just blinks until I turn it down to 75%.. I can have it set to 75% and it will turn on like normal.. But I need to use 100% power.. And Mars Hydro sucks with responding to emails apparently.. I'm gonna have to buy a new one and return this POS.. Then hopefully buy a new stronger light for my 2x2.. I am so pissed.. Mars Hydro sucks.. The build is amazing.. The components are awesome when they are not flawed.. But damn this is the 3rd light to crap out on me in 2 years.. I do nothing but run them 18/6 or 12/12.. Run 1 fan on top at the driver and heatsink and 1 under toward the diodes.. Nothing different.. I think I'm gonna buy the Wakyme J-2000.. It comes with 2 fans blowing on the heatsink.. Honestly, noise is not an issue to me.. Heat is.. I sleep with all my fans running already lol.. Its actually hard to sleep without them now hahah.. But yeah. It has a Meanwell driver.. Samsung diodes.. Dimmer.. And the fans.. I think it's my best bet at this point.. Fuck Mars Hydro.. They had 3 chances with me.. My Sunraise 1000 (blurple) is like 4 years old and still running strong.. Smh.. Mars Hydro is crap. How did they even get so popular??? I'm sure more people will realize how crappy they really are.. No name brand everything.. Runs hot as ass.. Craps out after 3 - 4 months.. So so pissed... Almost mid week.. I went ahead and pulled a couple branches down a bit.. The canopy is perfectly even.. It looks AwEsOmE! Lol Mid week.. Well, she seems to be doing a bit better than before, I'd say. Normally, my previous autos would be flowering and probably almost finished stretching by now.. Live and learn.. I hope all the Zkittlez Autoflower seeds aren't like this.. And hopefully this strain turns out pretty dank to be wasting a few extra weeks on growth but not getting much growth at the same time.. And I hope harvest doesn't come quicker than the swelling of the calyxes.. But shit happens.. I have Mars Hydro sending me a new driver/dimmer. I sure hope it's just "plug-in" because if I'm going to take this light apart, I'm just going to go with the Meanwell HLG-240H-54B.. From what I was told from LEDSupplier dot com.. The 240W would be better due to the different current. We are still trying to figure out if the dimmer is 0-10V to see if I can just keep using the Mars Hydro dimmer along with the MeanWell HLG-240H-54B.. That would be cool.. Sorry but Mars Hydro sucks.. I bet running a different driver would help alot of issues.. Maybe even run cooler. Anyways.. About the plant lol.. She is doing great.. The stiples are still showing some weird colors on the tips.. Doesn't seem like an issue.. Some plants have the stems change colors.. Some have pistils change colors.. Some have leaves change colors.. Maybe that is just in her genetics.. The pics that ILGM shows, it should be a pretty colorful strain.. Guess we shall see! But she is happy and healthy.. I think I'm going to stop using Hydroguard next week.. Just doesn't seem like it's doing much of anything.. I really only bought it to fight root rot when I attempt DWC which I am going to attempt again very soon.. Maybe after this grow... We shall see... Almost end of week.. Went ahead and defoliated/lollipopped a bit. She was getting too bunched together.. She is nice and opened up now.. 2 side branches stayed pretty short.. Not sure what that is all about.. Flowers are slowly forming at this point. Next week will be week 1 of flower and stretching should begin! She is still getting good light even with the power only being at 75%.. Just have it down lower.. Which I could get away with till harvest.. But fuck that. I ordered a new Mars Hydro TS 1000.. And Mars Hydro is also sending me a new driver/dimmer box to replace the old one.. Going to return the light and I still want to replace the stock driver with the MeanWell.. Trying to get more professional opinions before I attempt that tho.. So far, I am hearing to get the HLG-240H-54B.. The 150H (150W) doesnt have the correct current so I'd have to go with the 240H (240W) due to the output current and voltage to match correctly. Can't wait to try it out! End of week.. So I got a new Mars Hydro TS 1000 in.. It comes with a Moso driver instead of the old Juson driver.. Hmm.. Ok.. Seems to not heat up as much.. The diodes still get hot, but the lack of the driver heat should help keep things cool.. Nice... I am able to raise the light back up and run her at 100% power.. I went ahead and tied the branches down a little more.. There are 2 that are still staying a little short.. But I think it's the way I started the whole LST process.. I should have tied down a different 90° angle instead of the angle I used.. But live and learn.. Wont use that way again lol.. Other than that, the flowers are forming nicely.. Happy happy happy.. Next week will begin flower! Niceeee.. On to the next!!!...

She has received a bit of heat stress from last week but she seems stable. She has not been fead anything this week all she has had is just pure natural sunlight. The pot is not light enough to feed her so I will wait until tbefore I feed her and continue to keep her in the natural sunlight

Week 7 – Day 51 (BT27) A quiet week for RedPure#4 – mostly just watering, observing, and removing an occasional leaf 🍃 The stretch seems to be coming to an end. Height is stable at 40 cm, and space is still manageable 😅 Her buds continue to swell and look very promising 🍇 However, the drain pH remains low at 5.7, which might explain some of the issues she’s showing. After some digging, I suspect the combination of BioBizz soil and Advanced Nutrients is the cause. BioBizz relies on microbes for pH buffering, unlike Plagron or Canna, which use dolomite lime. On top of that, I’m feeding the microbes with Bud Candy – which likely lowers the pH even further 🔬 📌 Takeaway: If you're using Advanced Nutrients, a substrate like Plagron Growmix or Canna Terra might be more compatible. With BioBizz, the pH in runoff stays constantly low despite using water with pH 6.6. RedPure remains the most sensitive strain in the tent – but also one of the most aromatic 🌸💜

My LIT Marker plant is thriving, and it's interesting to see the similar leaf structure to the Black Valentine I grew from LIT Farms. I gave it a dose of calcium this week, hoping it will help green up the leaves and keep it healthy. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Una planta criada en excelente condiciones desde el comienzo hasta el final de su ciclo. Nunca demostró carencias ni excesos y tuvo un buen armazón para el momento de empezar a cogollar. Aún así, no salió mucha cantidad pero no tengo ningún tipo de queja respecto a la calidad. Cogollos bañados en tricomas y con un pegue increíble. Excelente genética.

MID-WEEK UPDATE: Gave the twins their second last feeding today. A few nights of 14-16 Hour Dark periods as well due to plans/not having timers but as I said before I think the longer Dark periods have really sped up the flower development. PURPLE IS STARTING! Some very nice purple is starting to come into the cals and sugar leaves 😈 Going to push some lower temps in week 8 to get as much colour out of them as possible. Arnold still heavy fan leaf fading. Ran straight water through the medium before todays feeding incase any build up nute locked it. Never fully bounced back from the last feed but also getting near the end. I have a feeling I'll pull Arnold first in week 8 then maybe let Danny go for a more couch lock. Danny: GRAPE SMELL. Holy, I don't know if it's more of a Grand Daddy Purp pheno or what but holy is the grape smell off of Danny insane. Almost like a different strain compared to the smells off Arnold. WEEK 6! HOME STRETCH OF GLAZED GROW #1! The smell is insane. What started as a premature musk has slowly evolved into sticky ass chocolate goodness, fresh mint/herb, and even some grape/fresh fruit smell on the fingers after defol and mold checks. Noticing a hint of that GASSS too as we start to enter the final ripen. This will also mark the final week of Nute feeding. Fed today and probably two more Weds/Sun. Then will switch to Molasses/Water for Week 7 and plain water for first half of Week 8 before the dry out. As you can see, Big Arnold is showing cal/mag and PH problems. Always bounces back after PH perfect feedings and I've been defoliating the faders as we go to save bud energy. It's been rootbound since mid-flower and I'm sure the whole root zone is a mess. The extra work I've had to put into a soilless peat-based medium like ProMix with a photoperiod plant has been great practice and experience but I'm looking forward to a few round of autoflowers and soil grows to dial back the difficulty settings through the winter months. 5/1 I took off the carbon filter yesterday and noticed the suction that I had been losing was completly restored. I then washed the filter sock that fits over the filter, and blew off any buildup of humidifier and carbon dust. I've yet to reinstall the filter, as the smell isn't too bad. Trainwreck is starting to fade and absorb the leaves. I'm removing them as I go. Will probably water them both tomorrow. Wondering if I should start flushing Amnesia as well.

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

So I haven’t mentioned it before but this is my first time growing autos ever. Through this grow I’ve learned a lot. I’ve played with these little gals and they’ve been talking to me and telling me how much better my next run is going to be. The farthest along is the pineapple og at about 6.5 weeks. Next up is the og kush at 5.5 weeks and man that one is not the prettiest but this f$cking turps bro! And last is the dream queen. She’s where I think I’m really going to shine in the tri grow. The other gals allowed me to learn with them and pass it on to her. Needless to say I think she’s going to be the best yielding lady. Gave them all some molasses juice and the frost is coming In. This soil provides superior drainage and aeration, thanks to its high porosity. The addition of fibrous peat moss and coarse perlite creates an ideal environment for water flexibility. It’s been perfect for the girls as they transition into their final homes. Plus, the biofungicide and mycorrhizae are doing wonders for root development, giving them all the support they need for vigorous growth. I’ve kept things simple with a balanced solution, ensuring everything stays within the perfect range.
