Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 A lot to talk about this week.. Got my lights installed and oh my have they grown. Royal Gorilla has taken a major growth spirt this week, new growth everywhere and getting taller. I spread her out a bit doing some LST. She took it great and ket growing. Amazed with how these lights are working for them. Most likely will do some defoliation next week to clear some space, more light penetration and have the main colas grow. Happy with how this girl bounced back, she had time to recover when they were all under the 150W CFL... and now she's at an even height with the others. Watering every other day.. D4 - YES! We have lift-off!!! Today both seeds poked up. BOOM! Yesterday, I also put in my new humidifier in the tent, and man, this little thing is a BEAST. The amount of water vapor it is able to push out is insane. I use an Inkbird controller to... ummm... control the humidifier so that the humidity in the tent is 80% plus/minus 5%. I'm planning on running this high humidity for the first week or so and then dropping it down. D5 - I adjusted the light to 80 cm (about 31") above the canopy, resulting in 300 μmol/m2/s at canopy level. A bit high as I usually keep it around 250, but it should be alright, I think. D6 - The left girl, #1, seems to have died. Her leaves never fully emerged from the seed, and now she is entirely wilted, laying on the soil. So yeah, she is a gonner, I think. No idea what happened since she looked okay yesterday, and the other girl is already 5 cm (2") tall. Strange, but there's a first for everything, I guess. I already have a new seed soaking in water to be planted tomorrow. She'll then be six days after the other girl, and while probably noticeable at first, I don't expect any real problems during the grow. Hopefully, it'll germinate, but if not, c'est la vie. D7 - After soaking the seed for 24 hours, I rolled it in myco, and planted it in the first pot. However, I removed and replaced some soil in the center of the pot before planting, just in case something was wrong with the soil. Fingers crossed that this one will germinate just fine. On the other hand, the second girl is doing her thing just fine. I removed her humidity dome, though, as the RH in the tent should be high enough. D11 - End of the first week of veg and the third seedling popped up. BOOM! Now let's hope this girl survives, considering that the first girl in that pot died. On the other hand, the second girl is thriving; already 9 cm tall and 6 cm wide. Her first set of true leaves is slightly twisted but not too severely, and the second set looks fine. She is a bit leggy, so I added a couple of toothpicks for support. I have been asked in DM why I have Avocados on top of the soil. The reason is simply for feeding my worms and encouraging breeding. The strain is really good. I harvested it when the trichomes were milky and it had a very energizing and uplifting effect. I'll definitely grow it again now with better care and the knowledge I've gained. I harvested around 20 grams dry.

Yeah somthing is going on. Candida and Nightingale are not happy with there newts. Well if it continues I will flush them. Orinoco is doing great.

Hi all another week down almost . I’ve recorded a couple of videos (beginning or week and back end ) as you cannot see the big girl properly with a photo . She has soo much going on ,I’m not only proud of myself but super pleased with this girl . Having germinated only 2 seeds and got 2 plants granted one was weak from the start , that easily could have been my doing as a newby , I really cannot fault GHSc . Feed has been easy to work with and without dramas . Shouldn’t be long now before I start flushing ready for harvest . Thanks for being here with me , I don’t feel I’ve got any hope regarding the compition but that wasn’t my hopes anyhow , I wanted to see how I did as a newby growing same as some veterans . It was rough waiting and knowing that i did not defoliate and started seeing bud rot almost at the end. Ended up cleaning everything and throwing half a harvest away, BUT A GOOD WELL PAID LESSON.

😎 Weekly Update: The plant has growth to 70cm height at day 36 :) 🔪 Most of defoliation and lollipoping has been done - trying not to stress the auto too much. 🌹 LST Update: I do branch a day - so I began 5 branches training by now. Weekly thought 💭 : I think I do not know much about auto's - considering to do some HST, the upper leaves are really big, watery and makes a lot of shade. I took very little off. Do you think its ok to remove them all? 😮 Day 38 Update: She has grown 10cm / 4" in 48 hours. I hope she’s done stretching because I have no power left to lift my lights every other day 😷 Day 36: 69Cm/27.1" ---> Day 38: 79.5 Cm/31.3" 💥 🥊 First cloning attempt ever seem to be a success :) P.s She drinks almost a gallon per day - never seen anything like that before. These XtraKush are also finally starting to grow. It took them a while but they doubled in a week. Still a little bit pale compared to the other two strains. With a new top layer of first worm castings and then neutral organic cocopeat to combat the gnat problem and we seem to have fixed most problems. Temps are going down at night, I'm trying to fix this by keeping it warmer in the attic where the grow is. In the coming week, I'm going to train/manifold them, they are getting a bit big. I started this and then had to quarantine for 2 weeks. I did not have enough soil for 3x 2gal. pots. They grew so fast in the solo cup I just macgyvered a setup from stuff I had. Stuck a timed water pump on them over a res and cut holes in the solo cups to let the roots out. Res is 3 gals cutting edge solutions basic 50%
