These conditions are essential for maximizing photosynthesis and ensuring vigorous growth. --- ### Techniques Applied: LST and Defoliation #### Low-Stress Training (LST) This week, I applied Low-Stress Training (LST) for the first time. By gently bending and tying down the branches, I've created a more even canopy. This technique helps to: - **Increase Light Exposure:** Ensures all parts of the plant receive sufficient light. - **Improve Air Circulation:** Reduces the risk of mold and pests by allowing better airflow between the branches. - **Boost Yield:** Promotes the development of multiple colas, potentially increasing the overall yield. #### Defoliation In addition to LST, I also began defoliation, selectively removing some fan leaves to: - **Enhance Light Penetration:** Allows more light to reach the lower parts of the plant. - **Stimulate Growth:** Encourages the plant to focus its energy on bud development rather than foliage. --- ### Nutrient Management: Increasing Plagron Dosage As the plants grow, their nutritional needs increase. Day 70- 2nd day of flush. Plant 1 is pretty much done, just waiting for trichs to amber up a bit. Plant 2 has a ways to go, but I’m flushing anyway. Wifey complained about the choking smell, but realized my in tent filter was off because a branch lifted the plug out of the socket 🙄🙄 Day 75 - past few days been feeding PK at 0.7 EC, waiting for the trichs to turn. Going back to plain water tonight. #2 plant has much larger buds, but is waaayyy behind #1 - still tons of white pistils.

June 24 - July 1 They just keep growing. No problems whatsoever with these plants. Topped off the soil. Started feeding it Fox Farm Grow Big/Big Bloom, alternating, .5 liters each, alternating. Huge height disparity between the three, even though they were grown identically. Plant A - 11" Plant B -22" Plant C - 17" Potentially giving one away (Plant C) to live in a garden, we will see what becomes of it.

During week 7 the 3 plants continue to grow outstandingly well! The BADAZZ-CHEESE and ZHEETOS from BIG BUDDHA SEEDDS have a healthy green color and grow so much foliage that I have to defoliate on a regular basis. On day 43 (=flowering day 19) I take off all bigger fan leaves in order to ensure a better airflow thru the closet. The humidity is unfortunately still on the high side and sometimes exceeds 80% in the daily maximum, that is MUCH too high during flowering. I increased the dose of BIO NOVA nutrients according to their feeding scheme and all plants LOVE IT! The ZHEETOS #1 plant grows much taller than her sister ZHEETOS #2, therefore I decide to SUPER-CROP her on Day 48 (=FD 23). This technique developed by SOMA from SOMA-SEEDS is one of my favorites and I use it since years in order to bush out plants, which grow to high. Appr. 15-20 cm from the top of the plant, right above an internode, I take the main stem between two fingers and press very hard until I can feel the fibres inside the stem brake. By slowly pressing all around the diameter of the stem I create a weak spot at which I bend over the stem, so it looks 90-180 degrees downward. I do this very carefully to NOT BRAKE the outer skin of the stem while I bend the stem downwards. Even if some fibres brake, the stem will repair itself within a few days to a week and then start to point upwards again...👍😃 During the time the main stem needs to repair itself, all other side-stems will grow more upwards and this makes the plant bush out more. At the same time a super-cropped plant will produce bigger buds at harvest time, than a plant where you did not do that. Somehow the plant reacts to being hurt by getting stronger and producing more! CHECK OUT THE VIDEO ABOVE TO SEE ME SUPER-CROP! 😎 I also took a video ONE DAY after the procedure (on DAY 49), in order to show how resilient the plant is and how much she immediately repairs herself. Already then the main top has turned and points upwards to the light again, ITS FANTASTIC TO SEE! Simply a miracle plant...

He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Jet Fuel stat very very good, we have to say no problem, seed oper 24 h in water then 24 h in soil and sprout. Super love this strain, the genetic line is amazing. Here we have Diesel Family so mostly sativa and Gas taste more sativa. WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea, remove slowly and delicately please. WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots, choose the largest possible ones and not paper/cardboard ones, there is peat which is the main component of most of the soils we use. If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to the neighbors I recommend you install one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations of the equipment or of any kind. Good weather here. The branches that show advanced signs of multiple nutes deficiencies (N + K) are almost ripen, I consider this as phisiologic signs of age, the others are perfectly normal but immature. Maybe this is due to the rose roots near the plant that are sucking nutrients. As she has lost apical dominance the buds are very omogeneus, big, fat, frosty. Lots of thin pistils. Found 4 little spots of bud rot promptly removed. This issue is related only to the partially shaded side of the plant til now, not good. Gotta lay with her for the next week, divorce is around the corner. Mayor defoliation on Sunday. Last nutrients on Monday. Now the whole sun is for her but only for three days, ripen or not I'll crop her the next Sunday as a rainy and cold week is coming and this fucking plant is prone to bud rot and couldn't survive under the tent. Damned plant. I have no more room to dry weed, everything in my home smell of weed, my family too. Special Kush is still drying...

This week I sprayed the purple haze with silver water and will be mixing this beautiful purple haze with the cheese to get some purple cheese 🧀🤪 The 9 cheese girls are doing greet. Now I'm going to let them restore for a week. Check you next week

Die Pflanze hat die anfängliche Startphase hinter sich gelassen und bildet jetzt ein stabiles Wurzelwerk aus. Das Blattwerk sieht gesund aus, die internodalen Abstände sind kurz und gedrungen, was auf ein gutes Lichtmanagement hindeutet. 📏 Die aktuelle Höhe liegt bei 12 cm. Die Umgebungswerte haben sich bei einer Durchschnittstemperatur von 27 Grad und einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 58 Prozent eingependelt. Das ist ein solider Korridor für dieses Stadium, in dem die Pflanze ihre Stoffwechselprozesse langsam hochfährt. 💧 Die Wassertemperatur lag im Schnitt bei 21 Grad, was ideal ist, um den Wurzeln keinen Kälteschock zu verpassen und die Sauerstoffaufnahme im Substrat zu begünstigen. Die Pflanze zeigt sich durstig, aber nicht übermäßig, was zeigt, dass der aktuelle Gießrhythmus gut auf das Substrat und das Wurzelvolumen abgestimmt ist. 📸 Beobachtung für die kommende Zeit: Die Strawberry Banana beginnt jetzt zusehends mit der Seitentriebbildung. Wenn das Wachstum in diesem Tempo weitergeht, werde ich in der nächsten Woche über erstes sanftes Training nachdenken, um das Licht besser in die unteren Bereiche zu leiten. Die Vitalität ist absolut in Ordnung, keine Anzeichen von Mängeln oder Stress. Läuft nach Plan.

10/05/2023 - She´s growing well, i left her growing 2 days. Now i´m aplpying more LST and start to question: Should i top her once more? I´ll let her grow a bit more and watch. Also noticed a deficiency, i think it´s copper excess due to Acti-vera or Root Juice. Next feeding i´ll cut on Acti-Vera and give half of Root-Juice. 12/05/2023 (Day 30) - She´s growing well, won´t feed her yet as the soil is still moist. Thinking about HST already, but i´ll let her grow a bit more This week arrived my Plagron Sugar Royal, so i´ll add it aswell :) Day 31 - Today i noticed some more healthy new growth so i decided to top her again and LST´d just a bit Day 32 - Didnt feed her yet, soil looks dry but pot is pretty heavy. Also her leafs are touching the soil so i dont want it to be moist. Day 35 - Slightly LST

The ninth week of flowering is now over and the last days of the ladies have begun. The stated 9-10 weeks flowering time is definitely correct. One plant of the Hardcore Zoap was ready a little earlier, but as I want to harvest everything at once, everything is left standing until the majority looks ready. I also preferred to harvest the plants a little more mature than too early. In terms of appearance, I like the Miracle Gushers flowers best, as they have a fine and compact structure. The Banana Creamz seem to be able to develop very thick flowers, whereas the Hardcore Zoap seems to have the lowest yield. I will be able to say more after drying and weighing.
