Another week has passed and this lady seems to have recovered from last week's sudden problems. I just kept feeding with clear water, I suspect low PH and my solution fixed it. I also raised the light a little more, this SP 3000 is a true beast of a light, and especially the Kush in the middle couldn't handle it that well. Thank you @MarsHydroLED I did some final defoliating, only bundled up leaves and leaves covering major bud sites. This Orange Hill Special is something else though, Im happy to grow this, she is pretty and sophisticated in all, almost majestic. The buds are speckled with orange hairs, the shape of each like a round ball of ice cream. She was pretty from seedling on and looking back, I would have loved some offspring of this pheno. She is a thrill and no signs of male parts on this one, although it can happen with this strain. So glad I have some more seeds and cant wait to put a tentful of this. Don't let its low score dissuade you, yes there is a chance she hermies but when she doesn't my my my... Check em out here @DutchPassion_Official She smells of orange and tangerine with a very strong hazy undertone. This combination promises a great smoke and frankly, I cant wait. Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. 9/29/2022 - 49 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The third week of flowering of my Bruce Lemon Diesel 🍋⛽🌻 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - I serve the same as last week Advanced Nutrientiens - Bud Candy - carbohydrates for my plants 🍭🍭 Bud Stimulators 🌼🌼🌼: Jungle Indabox Environ X Advanced Nutrientiens - Big Bud remains unchanged I no longer serve Bud Ignitor ATAMI - ATA CALMAG - When growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Plants tolerate nutrients well, sometimes a small spot appears on the leaves, but this is not a nutrient burn Training: LST - Just a little training, I tied some twigs to the edge of the flower pot with string so that they don't shine on each other 🌞🌞 Defoliation: I mainly remove large leaves so they don't shade the flowers and I also cut off the lower leaves. A good week for ICC photo. I topped her and started bending branches for some horizontal development. Once she’s covering the entire pot with some budsites and tops I will let her start stacking nodes vertically. I am using “garden hooks” I’ve made with metal food skewers and will use those to bend and guide branches outwards. Feed is the same really and I am really digging it so far, Gaia green and coco loco for a supersoil type grow in regards to waterings and feeds. No ph checking, no dechlorinating water, just tapwater and a few add ins like fishshit and recharge, a seaweed/kelp foliar, and worm castings/topdresses. Trying this routine out and hope to be able to reamend the pot and drop again. This plant is in midweek5 of veg and has about 6-8 weeks to go before I can flip her to flower.

Everything is going good so far..

Start of week 7 and all plants are looking great. Added the net to hold them later but I may take it out. Ran into a slight issue…my plants got so tall that I was not able to provide enough PPDF to the lower stems (I need a bigger tent and better lighting…in time). As a result a caused light burn on the top leaves. Additionally, early in my grow I was using Mass Pro. That alone with amendments and I foliaged early with Foop. I believe the Foop and Mass Pro were too much for these plants to handle. Still rocking though…

Lights: I don't change Bloom light, I still use Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light to use both in vegetation and flowering 💡💡 Training: LST: third attachment of all twigs where flowers are formed 🌸🌸 Defoliation: the first big defoliation took place in the middle of the week, I removed the large leaves at the bottom of the plants and those that shaded the flowers 🍃🌞 The little girl has only grown by 5 cm since last week, she is already putting all her strength into flowering. The pistils at the ends of the twigs already form white tufts 😊💓 I can smell a subtle scent of herbs and flowers, but very subtle indeed. Light intensity increased to 100%… the buds are getting bigger and already look pretty frosty 😉 I added some bloom nutrients for her, but as always only a minimum since she doesn’t really need much, just a little boost 😉

I have already said everything, in principle, I advise everyone to grow this variety, I got an amazing tree half purple with giant cones and a large harvest, I am delighted!
