2 ever differing plants here. #1 I think is very much ready to cut and will be doing so over the next day or two. Foxtail mad plant. #2 is gonna be another week I reckon. Still very leafy and starting to foxtail more so won't leave too much longer. Could be a very heavy one depending on how much needs to be trimmed.

Week 18: 😅 I hope the work we put in this week, sets us up for a successful next couple weeks. We really pushed through the rest of our flower defoliation. I think we learned alot through this process. Every branch can not live on. Branches and primary growth points are two very different things. We also learned that flower and veg have different needs. I am now noticing the soil is almost bone dry in about 4/5 days, so by the 3rd day the plants need more water... This is important to note.. as we will be traveling for the holidays for the next two weeks (NOLA, HOU, RIO). May God be with us over these next few weeks. I'm glad I have a ring camera installed in the tent for times like these... but I would not recommend purchasing this camera for the purpose of a grow tent cam. Will be trying the Wyze or another type of camera for more timelapse content in the future. Will check back in later this week with pictures from my friend that will be watering for us.

- I didn't weight wet buds. - The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest on buds all over the plants. - The hash balls were : a little less than 1cm diameter for the Mandarin Punch#1 and around 3mm diameter for the Mandarin Punch#2 - Drying was made at 20°C and around 50% of humidity. - Humidity in jar around 50% on the first day, temperature around 20°C. After some consideration I decided to move the DoSiDos back inside for her last stretch of blooming. The heat in the greenhouse caused her to foxtail and the buds became less compact. I have a tent I mostly use for drying, but with a 100W Led it can be transformed into a temporary home for the DoSiDos. I'm watching her closely the coming days to make sure she isn't too stressed and starts growing bananas. As I had hoped the buds are growing mode dense by the day. Instead of foxtailing outwards the buds are now just growing upwards and continue to swell. Not too many brown pistils just yet, so the buds will keep growing bigger for a while.

I would definitely recommend this strain to everybody. After 7 days of drying i was able to taste the buds and i'm very satisfied so far. Cant wait to taste them again, after some curing in jars.

On that day, I took a small tea ceremony set with me to the plantation. After enjoying some very good pu-erh tea with a pleasant alertness, we got to work. I also took some photos and shot a few videos. Later, one of these photos would win the "June Photo Contest."

Flowering day 70 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3.
